Sheikah Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Basically I think the PS4 you give to your kids needs to be the PS4 you assign as your "primary PS4" to your PSN account. This means any other PSN accounts on it that are logged in can play the content of your PSN account. Then the PS4 that's yours you don't assign as your PS4 account, but sign in with your PSN. Because you're signed in with your PSN, you can play any of your content even though the PS4 isn't registered as your primary console for your account.
DriftKaiser Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Just found out that 94 lucky Londoners got those 20th Anniversary Edition PS4 for £19.94 and some of them already flogging them for over 2+ thousands pounds. :/ @Skeikah. Never thought of that solution but it's defo better than mine. :P

It would be hard enough trying to get one due to the limited numbers available.

Ashley Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Bethnal Green Road, I heard. Annoyingly close to work.
Deathjam Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Finally got myself a Ps4. This thing is a lot slicker than I imagined. Great how I can carry on where I left off with Destiny on ps3.
Tales Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Is there any people left on N-Europe that does not have a PS4?
Shorty Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Hope not Destiny wouldn't have been anywhere near as good without the [NE] clan!
Clownferret Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 i've been reading about the dualshock analogue stick problem and two things spring to mind: 1: This must be costing Sony a fortune in replacing controllers 2: What is happening with all the controllers that are sent back, surely they are not binning them. I can't believe the bloody price of them... £55 for the camo version. I'm assuming these will drop significantly in the sales as I can't bring myself to pay that much money for a controller

They were £29.99 the other week from various retailers.
Daft Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Already had one controller because of a dodgy stick, now my other two have broken triggers; one on the left trigger the other one the right. Such shit.

Such shit. i read that Sony have changed the coating on the analogue sticks for newer models, I have a white PS4 will this be ok?
Cube Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/ps4-remote-play-t2929147 People have figured out how to get Remote Play to work on non-Sony Android devices. No root required, either.
Ashley Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Is there any people left on N-Europe that does not have a PS4? Wii is still refusing to get one.
Guy Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 So according to an email and phone call today, I snagged one of the PS4 20th Anniversary systems via the 20 years of characters promotion last night. Got mega lucky. I guess it'll have to stay in the box. They ain't gonna replace that thing if it ever breaks.

Congrats, I tried but the website goes stupidly slow around the competition time (it's a really slow to load flash page too...). So, you going to resist the urge to sell a £400 console for over 2k? :p

Currently one at 4k with 4 hours left, don't think I could resist selling it. Edited December 17, 2014 by Shorty
Jimbob Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I'd probably swap the HDD's over and use it, thus selling my launch model.
bob Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I'd probably swap the HDD's over and use it, thus selling my launch model. Wat. That's like the worst thing to do. Either sell it, or leave it in the box to sell it later. Using it is just throwing money down the lane.
Sheikah Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Wouldn't even work anyway. The hard drive with the data on can only be read by your specific PS4. You'd have to format it again, unless you meant you planned to do that anyway. Anyhoo, seems crazy to do anything other than sell this for a few grand. It's just a grey PS4!
Guy Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I have no idea what I'm gonna do with it yet, I'll wait and see how things are looking next week and make a decision then. I'd love to keep it, but even if I did I'd be afraid to use it... I'm sure the eBay prices will drop drastically soon, or maybe even rise even more once the chance for people to get one is gone. No idea. Christmas is probably playing a part as well. Not gonna lie, the money would be extremely useful at the moment. We'll see.
Hero-of-Time Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 If you were to sell it now I imagine the price would be higher than usual due to the frenzy that has surround the item at the moment. Of course it may go even higher as time goes on but that's a risk you may not want to take. Congrats by the way. Super jelly of you!
