Pff I'm still waiting on something that was shipped on November 8. =P

Kinda doubt it's going to get here in time, but oh well. Complaining isn't gonna help at all heh.

Worst thing about my day... Can't go out with the family tonight 'cause I'm swamped with work still. Things are getting a bit stressful heh. Can't wait for the holidays to start.

Make some Chamomile tea, let it cool off and then carefully clean its eye with it. That should help somewhat.

Indeed chamomile is great, then get them down to the vets tomorrow - don't worry R_A I'm sure kitteh will be just fine.

EDIT: Today it was coming from work, having IBS is ridiculous, I'm tired and grumpy and trying my best to figure out what keeps triggering it. But it seems to be quite a few things! :(

Woke up sick. Vomited in the toilet a few times cleaned up went back to sleep. Woke up a little later to do a repeat.

I had been laying on the couch, but my mother has a habit of watching horrendous shows so now I'm shivering in my room.

I had a biscuit and fluids are staying down.

I hate my sister as she gave this to me (and her husband).

Yes, but that wouldn't make me this sick. I've been freezing all day even with an electric blanket. I also don't think the Vodka would make me puke 3 separate times in between 7 am and 10 am.

Annoying cold is annoying. Has been with me for a while. Began as a bit of a cough, then turned into a sore throat and now it's a full-blown annoying cold. With procrastination inducing watery eyes.

Vodka's totally able to make you puke several times! ...

Truth... I've been sick on Vodka several times before, I don't know what it is that makes it such a potentially potent puke-inducer but often it can make you feel sick even if you haven't had that much of it; for instance tonight I've had just a few double measures of it - mixed - and I'm feeling a bit 'iffy' but then again it has been a while since I last drank it... mainly because I've been sick off of it before...

...seems I never learn! :p

-------------------------

Today hasn't been too bad but I just don't seem to be able to focus for long periods of time, which isn't good when you're trying to get stuff done... :/ I've been writing some reviews today but it's a slow process because of this; I'm getting there though. :)

I went for a massive tumble in the snow after work. It started snowing heavily about an hour before I finished, by the time I left work the city was covered and I wasn't dressed appropriately, so after a few near misses I eventually and inevitably went down hard.. Didn't hurt too bad, but at the time the embarrassment of falling suppressed the pain!

In the early hours of this morning, the club dj turned the bass up so loud that it made floor vibrate, my whole body vibrate and my right ear hurt like hell. No idea why.

Woken up after 4 hours sleep and luckily no hangover. Although the ringing in my ears is definitely going to be the worst thing to happen to me today/ so far.

ffs. have to go see an eye specialist in Belfast now because apparently i'm "complicated" and adult squint correction is quite unusual

The doc said the more surgery you've had in the past the more complicated it is to fix and the more risk of it going the other way and doing more harm than good.. Joy. So in other words he doesn't know if it can be fixed.

So that leaves me with crap sight for longer... potentially forever :(

I could have told you that much just by your info tab on the left :-)

Sunds shitty though, i hope it can be sorted.

Sorry to hear that Raining.

To be honest I've been quite annoyed with my eyes recently. The surgery I had basically gave me double vision (if I look sideways) and sometimes just makes it really hard to see things straight (like I get dizzy looking at things). Plus my left eye's vision got worse. So yeah, not been too happy with it, keep wondering if it was worth it heh... Especially since the problem hasn't been fixed 100%, so in a way I feel I came out worse than when I went in.

my doctor isn't 100% faithful that it can be cured - I've got muscles that have already been operated on and scar tissue is far less viable for fixing. Apparently the more its operated on the more risk there is of it getting worse rather than better. I'm just hoping this specialist has an idea of how this could work and if its worth a shot..

You should ask to see your specialist again for some advice :) Double vision is a real arse, especially when driving...

Yeah eyes are quite delicate, so lots of surgeries on them probably isn't a good idea. But talk about the options lots before anything is decided I guess. See what the risks are.

Every time I went to my doctor I told him about my double vision, but he just ignored it. Said it might still disappear. Even said "But will you honestly be looking sideways much? You can just turn your head.". Pissed me off, such an arsehole. So yeah, not sure there's anything I can do about this. =/

My Christmas present got delivered, well happy with it turning up. Not happy with UPS charging me VAT, when the website charged me for International Handling which claimed I wouldn't receive further charges. Angry email sent, I bet I get a load of bullshit small print back claiming I'm in the wrong.

Fucking UPS.. took my beer tokens.

Since we're slagging off the couriers, it turns out Home Delivery Network have lost my parcel altogether. It's been in their depot since the 9th December according to track, and even a phone call to a friendly women who personally went to look for my parcel didn't turn up anything. I've never liked the home delivery network...

Going to see family.

Surely this is a good thing you say? No, it confirms that my grand mother is a complete and utter b*tch..

yes this is something I knew years ago, but meeting her a couple of years ago after 15 odd years, it's just like a kick the teeth - sigh.
