But: Reveal hidden contents 1: it seems that Tony may be using the Telepresence style with the armour, which was touched on again in the New Avengers before he got Extremis - i.e. full remote control of the suit. 2: that scene where Tony and Pepper wake up and a suit is menacing Pepper ... Totally Mask in the Iron Man where the suit becomes self-aware. Or it could be a remote control by a hostile.
