Paj! Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 WTF is a fopp. Fopp's awesome! It's like a (slightly) cheaper HMV that only stocks films and CD I'd actually want to watch/listen to. The one in Edinburgh is brill. You can walk in there and pick up several stunning movies and CD's for under a tenner.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Thought I'd give it a go. Saw it in Toys R Us for a tenner on the Wii or £13 on 360. Went for the 360 option. Not a bad game, but will soon get used to the controls.

The controls are quite easy to understand i thought.

The one in Edinburgh is brill. You can walk in there and pick up several stunning movies and CD's for under a tenner. Fopp used to be really awesome for picking up more music from more obscure bands that anyone who actually knew anything about music listened too, unfortunately HMV catered for the many others who didn't. Especially before the days of iTunes and all that jazz. The Fopp up here closed a few years ago though

Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Just bought a dapper suit today for next to no money in a secondhand shop, and it fit me perfectly! Will get some pictures up when I've found a shirt that matches it.
jayseven Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 BOOTS. Proceeded to walk 7.9 miles in them.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 And here are the pictures as promised! (Please excuse the bad photo quality.)
Eenuh Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 The suit looks great Dannyboy! And that second photo made me laugh for some reason. =D This could so go in the Gentlemen's Mafia. =P
jayseven Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 In the first one you look like a uni lecturer. Or stephen hawking, as played by ethan hawke, or something.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 It's splendidly dapper, indeed, my good Eenuh! Perfect for a gentleman! My thoughts exactly, jay! From now on I'll wear it to ALL my lessons! :p
Mr_Odwin Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 In the first one you look like ... stephen hawking Surely not a compliment?
gaggle64 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I think the whole ensemble has a very Doctor Who vibe going on. Very nice.
flameboy Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 8GB model...bought it on one of those pay weekly deals sure you pay more but its not that bad considering it spread over 20 weeks and means I've got it ready for my next visit to canada
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Surely not a compliment? Appearance-wise, no. But it's still awesome to be likened to him.
Frank Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Huzah! Btw, nice outfit Danny. Looks quite old-fashioned in a sense, which is a compliment in my books. Very British too...which matches well with you're accent :p Edited November 16, 2010 by Frank

Murr Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 the suit reminds me of... but you're rocking it!
