Jimbob Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Why is it that the modes which aren't Wanted never have players ¬¬ Manhunt has quite a number of gamers. But, it could be because no-one can be bothered to find other rooms and play other modes.
Serebii Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 The multiplayer is addictive but bloodpressure increasingly infuriating :/
flameboy Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 SO BUMP! I just completed AC2 at the beginning of the year (finished week Mass Effect 2 came out on PS3) and have been holding out waiting for this to drop to under £20 and it did today on Amazon for £19.99. Very excited to be getting it. Does anyone still play the multiplayer on PS3?
Goafer Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I do once in a while. I'm finally playing through FF13 at the moment (I meant to play it at extra life!), but I'll dabble in some AC multiplayer once in a while.
Shorty Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 There wasn't that many forumites playing it even when it was brand new, which is a real shame. But even playing the 2 player co-op with randoms doesn't make the great multiplayer experience any less fun.
flameboy Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Well it arrived gonna finish ME2 first and then crack on with it, if anyone fancies multiplayerness on PS3 let me know.
MATtheHAT Posted February 24, 2011 Author Posted February 24, 2011 Well it arrived gonna finish ME2 first and then crack on with it, if anyone fancies multiplayerness on PS3 let me know. It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it and unlock some perks, it's brilliant. The new DLC game modes sound good, I'll probably get back into it when that comes out. Also, more single player content ftw.
Jimbob Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Not many forumers playing it online, tis a shame. But there are loads of peeps playing it online though, which is good. Can guarantee a game anytime really. Gets better with more perks

LegoMan1031 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Well very late to the party but bought this yesterday for 360, hopefully i will love it! Not started playing it yet though.
Shorty Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 It's amazing. But... online has quietened down a lot lately (definitely the best feature of the game). You might want to get a cuppa while you wait for matchmaking.
Cube Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I rented it not so long ago. It was pretty great (although there were some really frustrating parts). Never noticed the multiplayer.
Shorty Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 You missed out! Probably the most refreshingly different and fun multiplayers I've played in a couple of years.
Nintendohnut Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Recently completed the single player, as well as the Da Vinci Disappearance extra missions, which were pretty awesome. Really need to get my XBox Live set up, I'm missing out on the awesomeness!
Aimless Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I actually just picked this up again on 360, so I'm up for some multiplayer if we can get a few people together.
jayseven Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I'd be up for some multi-'hood. I'm shite at it online though!
Sheikah Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 This is probably my favourite online game alongside Demon's Souls for this generation. I'm on PS3 though, so I can't play with you. Pretty much played it to death though. I like how they managed to make a fun online game that didn't involve running and gunning like nearly every other online game out there these days.
Hero-of-Time Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 You missed out! Probably the most refreshingly different and fun multiplayers I've played in a couple of years. Indeed. I stopped playing on it due to the terrible matchmaking, it takes ages to get a game. Once you get it up and running it really is a piece of work though, very hectic yet intense at the same time.
Jimbob Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I don't go on multiplayer as often as i used to, i blame Full House Poker. Dislike waiting for match-ups when i do play though, so if anyone wants a match sometime give us a bell (or something similar)
Shorty Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 I would like to join forces with someone for the co-op achieveys The only two left I need on this game are that and the one of each bonus type thing, which is such a pain because there's no counter to tick them off against.

I think you need 4 players the co-op bonuses and for some of the other bonuses you need 6 players. If we can get at least 6 people I would be up for boosting these.
Dan_Dare Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Handily, I just bought this. Lets get a game together
LegoMan1031 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I have not started yet (might do in a minute actually) but i would be up for an AC NE online meetup sometime!
Dan_Dare Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Okay, spent some time with this online. Verdict: awesome. There's a bit of a sour taste left by idiots playing and having no idea what to do (despite a really informative and decent guide / UI going on) but overall it's excellent. Can someone explain stuns to me though? I'm confused by when I can and can't use it.
