Xpert 11: Season 14, Fresh Blood and Old Grudges

Recommended Posts

Your team must be in pretty good shape at the moment form-wise... i got given manager of the round by throwing out some pretty conservative tactics? must have been what kept it to 0-0..?

Did give my youth keeper another outing though and kept the sheet clean :)

Cheers Haden an MadDog :D

Sprawl: Results beyond Results

30th July

Mcoys Sons 5-1 Madpool

Madpools bad run continues as the Sons demolished them in a terrifying performance. The Sons played 4-3-3 against Madpools 3-5-2, the Sons seemingly brimming with confidence scored first. Jevons headed the ball in from a Gaye cross, Madpool hit back straight away however as Quintal fed Hiles a chance to take a long shot. However after this quiet opening half, the 2nd half exploded with chances and most of them for the Sons, Gaye and Jevons found themselves guiding shots past a poor looking Madpool defense. Then to finish the game off Jevons headed in his hat trick, with Moses scoring a looping header of his own to put an exclamation mark on the win. Yet again the Sons tactical play seems to have won the day. Madpools biggest strength is its midfield, yet even with 5 midfielders against 3 the Sons made double the chances Madpool had. The Sons attack was devastating and after a goalless season so far Jevons was superb with a hat trick. The Sons carry on rising away from the relegation zone while Madpool really need a win to recapture their form from earlier in the season.

Haden United 1-1 DuDs Baggies

A out of sorts United were held to a home draw by a resilient Baggies. Both teams played 4-4-2 and chances seemed not to be forthcoming for either side. However once Uniteds best defender Avallone was injured and subbed the Baggies felt they had a chance to take the lead. A corner gave Guara a clear header on goal which he powered into the back of the net. United needed to get off to the best possible start in the 2nd half but a penalty for Baggies was just what they didn't need. Baddeley who has been a rock for the Baggies this season, stepped up to take it but mis hit and the United goalie smothered it up. This gave United the encouragement they wanted, a Marconossi corner into Weesle who smashed it in took away the anxiety from a lot of United supporters! The game closed out and the result was probably the right one, the Baggies did well today and are moving up the league at a good pace. For United results like this show that this season probably won't be a title winning one but could be one where they fight for a top 3 finish.

Roostophe Rovers 4-1 Cubic County

Rovers strode to an impressive victory over County at home as their in and out of form season carries on. Rovers played 3-4-3 against a daring 4-3-3 formation by County, however right from the outset Rovers controlled the game making 10 chances to only 2 for County. Most of these chances were in the first half with Sheldon scoring a header after barley a minute. The County defense it has to be said was a shambles and this was reflected when McGargle scored an own goal on 20 minutes. The game was finished just before half time as Tartara broke away from the County defense and slotted the ball past the goalie. More misery was poured on County when Sheldon hit in a looping header to make it 4-0 just minutes into the 2nd half. However things weren't all rosy for Rovers, ill discipline in defense cost them a penalty that Maupas converted and then veteran defender Hapgood was sent off for a reckless challenge. It is rumored that Hapgood may be retiring if so after 57 games could this be the last time we see him? Regardless it was a great win for Rovers and a miserable day for County.

Dysonism F.C 3-1 Essex Elites

The likely new champions took on the current ones as Dysonism headed out with a 3-5-2 formation against the Elites normal 4-4-2 shape. The Elites took a shock lead as Marples pinged a goal in off the post to stun Dysonism fans into silence. The 1st half remained 1-0, however after a tough team talk Dysonism headed back out. Arber scored first via a through ball from Stenholm he cracked one past the goalie. Then up and coming star Spirito set up Sandford for the header and Mclen for a curling shot. In the end Dysonism deserved the victory and carry on looking like the team to beat, for Elites they have improved but have to start grinding out some results.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Mcoys Sons 5-1 Madpool, the Sons are really showing themselves to be a staying power in this league.

Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, 5 great goals from the Sons demolish Madpool.

Player of the Day: Gregory Jevons, Mcoys Sons, a great hat trick helped his team win in style.

Big apologies fell way behind thanks to holiday. Will be updating as fast as I can to catch up in time for final games. Think of it as a refresher of what went down this season! Btw I know you guys are probably sick of me asking but if you have any pals, lower league always needs them for next season. Thanks and good luck for next game!

Damn you for posting that Sprawl video. I've had that song in my head for days. Still - I'm seeing them live in 9 days time and I'm SUPER EXCITED :D

Jesus...I lost 4-0 when my tactics were very defensive with a large win bonus. What is wrong with my team?

Edit: Seems that my tactics reset themselves.

Promoted & won the title in some style :) Kept up my record of never being relegated and whenever I've been promoted I won the title at the same time.

That was just unfair. I tempted the players with 500 000 econs, my homefield, majority posession and he wins with a penalty in the last 11 minutes.

Now I need 64s to lose against Soap and BSO to lose against Kirby, not going to happen.

2-0 win for Recall, and the title and promotion. All in the same day, could it be a better day for the boys of Recall United. I know for sure i'm playing a youth side for my last game, give them some play-time i think.

Edit; I was trying to think of a victory song all day, i think i found it here.

Season nearly over already! Goes too quick. I'll be hoping Bayern Bru don't win, as I'm going to be playing youth again, so losing is a probable outcome.

With the new football season having just started I reckon some new members would be interested in joining the lower league. Always nice to see fresh faces after a recruitment drive :)

I could really use some help in this regard. If everyone could just ask 1 person they know from the forum or outside friends I would greatly appreciate it.

To keep the lower league fun we could do with 2 new members if not more.

Lets go to this league and see the modern winners

Essex Elites 4-3 Madpool

The Elites gave their fans something to cheer about in a match that showed both their failings and brilliance in one of the most dramatic encounters this season. The Elites went against their conventional tactics and sided for a risky 3-4-3 formation, Madpool also rejected previous long standing formations and fielded a 4-3-3 side. With both teams putting forward attacking formations fans relished a game with lots of goals, they weren't disappointed. It was Madpool whose tactics seemed vindicated at first, the youngster Gay scored twice in the first half once with a shot in off the post then a direct header. The misery carried on for the Elites as Madpool poured on the misery, Gay in fine form supplied Naranjo a cross that he easily headed past the Elites goalie. The Elites looked dead and buried but Ling converted a penalty minutes later to give them a glimmer of hope. Youth midfielder Merton was badly injured and subbed for the veteran Gledhill who came on and gathered his players up for a team talk. It seemed to work Marples scored via a header on the 67th minute and now the Elites were making chance after chance. With 3 minutes left Marples had another heading opportunity and it went in off the bar, Elites fans were ecstatic. But there was more, after a bungled cross Gledhill found himself in the box in injury time with the ball, he hit it with the outside of his foot and it slammed past the goalie. Elites fans leapt with joy as Madpool supporters streamed out. They may still be going home but this was a joyous day for the Elites.

Mcoys Sons 3-3 Haden United

A dramatic high scoring game occurred as the Sons and United made it 2 draws out of 2 for this season. Both teams played 3-5-2 as the game flowed back and forth, the Sons struck first after 10 minutes Moses headed them in front. Marconossi cracked in a beauty of a long range shot followed up by a Eveleens header to put United in the lead. In the space of 5 minutes in the 2nd half the Sons took the lead via a Gee shot and Moses break away and then lost it again when Eveleens headed the ball in off the bar to make it 3-3! Both teams midfield's bolstered by an extra man were on top form and the game was a great spectacle. In the end the score line reflects the closeness of the match (the Sons had 6 chances to Uniteds 5). A couple of draws have proved the Sons are something to take seriously and United have just failed to get a killer edge this season.

Bayern Bru 0-3 Dysonism F.C

Bayern Bru's season carried on deteriorating as they fell at home to a supreme Dysonism side. Bru played a 4-5-1 formation, but this just played into the hands of Dysonism who went with 3-4-3. As Brus lone striker Kit failed to hit anything home, Twigg in the second half scored a hat trick. In the game of his career Twigg lost his marker and headed the ball in twice in 2 minutes just as the 2nd half restarted. He was basically unplayable and gained a well deserved hat trick in injury time as he blasted in a curling corner kick. Bru got their tactics wrong and carry on failing to live up to their potential while Dysonism go from strength to strength.

DuDs Baggies 2-0 Roostophe Rovers

The Baggies good form carried on as they took a big scalp against the inconsistent Rovers. This was the first time the Baggies have beaten the Rovers a side that once beat them 7-1. Playing 5-3-2 to Rovers 3-5-2 was an interesting decision by the Baggies manager. While Rovers won more possession the Baggies created 6 chances to 3 for Rovers. Shelton crossed the ball in for Guara to head in after 12 minutes, while then Guara threaded a ball through for Shelton to hit home in the second half. This communication between midfield and attack led Baggies to a great victory that keeps their charge into the top half of the league alive.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Bayern Bru 0-3 Dysonism F.C: Bru carry on to fall into trouble as Dysonism are starting to look on a different level.

Turned on the Style Award: Essex Elites, 4 goals capped a superb attacking display by the Elites.

Player of the Day: Patrick Twigg, Dysonism F.C: a hat trick for Twigg in the best game of his career.

DFB3Liga.jpg

Did I finally manage to catch up with the reams and reams of match reports I had missed despite having to deal with so many goddamn dicks at work? You better goddamn believe I did.

Round 11

Bayern Fish 1 - 2 Complete Domstercool

The action set in immediately with a skilled shot from a corner by Miles Mansell for Complete Domstercool, expertly looping the ball over the goalkeeper. Bayern Fish soon responded with a smooth header from Niskanen. Fish had the best of possession but it was the Domster offence that dominated the day and took the game with scrabbled shot inside the penalty area from Benham. 2-1 and at last a change of fortune for the Domsters.

Martinists Men 0 – 4 AFC ReZs Rabies

It was another disaster for the Men and yet another victory for the Rabies as they continued their irresistible charge for championship glory. The Rabies were the cause of almost all the action as Collander, Messiah and then Wilberg twice scored to take yet another superb 4-0 victory. Recall Utd will surely be looking over their shoulders now.

Lededhead Dominatrix 1 – 1 Juicy Fruits

It was Lededhead that dominated the game but ultimately failed to break the resilient spirit of the Juicy Fruit’s. Things seemed to be going to plan as Chenery for Lededhead struck a beautiful long range screamer taking the Fruit goalkeeper completely by surprise early in the game. However luck favoured Juicy and Bakboord took the equaliser with a simple header from a corner. Lededhead then failed to pull ahead despite having the whole second half to do so, leaving them to question their tactics before their next encounter.

DISCOUNTED VIAGRA 0 – 1 Rising Phoenix

Eventually it was Rising Phoenix who finished with three points in a tense and troubled encounter against DISCOUNTED at their home ground. Scrappy and misjudged defending on both sides soon saw yellows handed to both Bolam and Sheen of Rising Phoenix and Nagahama for VIAGRA. Smyth got lucky for Phoenix with a long range chancer that the goalkeeper never saw coming but disorganised tactics made sure that would be the only goal of the game. A bad injury for Piquet and a second yellow for Sheen finally ended a somewhat disappointing clash between these too hungry sides.

Most Important Result: Martinists Men 0 – 4 AFC ReZs Rabies – another rblistering victory to bring the Rabies closer to striking distance of Recall Utd.

Turned on Style: Complete Domstercool, stopping vastly superior opposition in it’s tracks.

Player of the Day – Micael Wilberg for AFC ReZ’s Rabies, driving force behind yet another crushing victory.

Week 12

AFC ReZ’s Rabies 3 – 0 Complete Domstercool

The Rabies continued to march irresistibly onward as Domstercool failed to capitalise on a recent upswing in their fortunes, slumping miserably on enemy soil. Busy but over-zealous Domster defence kept the rabies at bay, accruing four yellow cards over the course, but the Rabies confidently picked them apart in the second half. First a trademark corner-header from Baptista at the turn of sixty minutes followed by another winning header from Maximillion Alm, with Baptista sealing it with a breathtaking long range strike with five minutes to spare.

Rising Phoenix 4 – 0 Lededhead Dominatrix

Rising Phoenix continued to soar higher in a so far up-and-down season, wrecking Lededhead with a confident and dominating performance. The visitors had no reply to offer as Gregor Smyth and Benjamin Osbourne split the scoring honours with almost total ease, all close range efforts coming of the back of imppecable through plays from the Phoenix midfield. The defeat was so shattering and total Lededhead Dominatrix fans would have probably they and their team had never turned up at all.

Recall United 3 – 0 Martinists Men

It was another resounding defeat for the Men as Recall United made to secure it’s place at the top of the table. All of the action came from the Recall end who totally dominated possession and scoring. None the less, one man in particular, Patric Wallgren stood out slotting home a hat trick with ease and precision over the course of the match. Arguably with the high number of chances the scoring should have been higher but few fans will begrudge another winning day for the league leaders.

Bayern Fish 3 – 1 DISCOUNTED VIAGRA

A strong victory for Bayern Fish according to the scoreline but it seemed less so on the pitch. Fish started well with a goal from Andervi at 14 mintes but were regularly under pressure as organised VIAGRA defences kept them from capitalising. Both teams kicked it into overdrive for the second half Viagra striking back with a penalty from Umemoto, but Fish counter attacked and finally broke through with scrambled goal from Rydman. VIAGRA did their best to recover but were ultimately unlucky and finally sunk by Niskanen in the very final minute with a chance shot at extreme range.

Most Important Result - Recall United 3 – 0 Martinists Men, keeping Recall ahead of the competition.

Turned on Style – Rising Phoenix continue to build on their improved form with a clanging victory.

Player of the Day - Patric Wallgren demonstrates his impeccable scoring credentials.

Week 13

Murrchester United 0 – 3 AFC ReZ’s Rabies

It was a tough opener for the new branding of Murrchester United, formerly DISCOUNTED VIAGRA. The Rabies efficiently dismantled the opposition on home soil with a trio of set pieces from Alm, Valianter and Hallestrom with barely any hint of a reply from the opposition. An unnecessary red card for top Rabies midfielder Konrad Gladh leaves the manager with some thoughts on squad discipline after the game.

Lededhead Dominatrix 3 – 1 Bayern Fish

The Dominatrixi were on dominating form at their home ground as they overwhelmed a strong Fish squad with superior tactical nuance. Fortune seemed to favour them early as they won and scored a penalty, Tarrant slotting easily away. Fish equalised with a header from Rydman but lost the lead again right on the stroke of half-time, also with a confident header from Trent. Despite a superb offence the Fish were simply out-maneuvered Gary Motson finally sealed it late in the game for Lededhead with a scrambled close range tap-in.

Rising Phoenix 2 -1 Juicy Fruits

The Juicy Fruits were entirely bested at Rising Stadium as Phoenix scored a brace of strong hits as their offence ran riot over the opposition. Their first goal came quickly, Sheen arching a superb freekick over the keeper four minutes in. The Fruits failed to recover and were given no quarter in the second half as star Lorimer slotted another home for Rising Phoenix just a minute in. Lynch pulled one back for the Fruits but it was too little too late. Phoenix take the game but a late injury for Lorimer will leave fans with furrowed brows before their next match.

Complete Domstercool 0 – 3 Recall United

The unassailable Recall United continued their steady march towards Lower-League 2 victory with a three goal thumping of Complete Domstercool in front of their own fans. Oswald Streep started the scoring at 9 minuted with a blistering long range effort from well outside the penalty area. Domstercool then suffered a pair of agonising injuries for Benham and then Mashinter in the second half, both of whom were set as key figures in the clubs’ imeediate and long term future. A pair of goals from Rex Hollingdale late in the second half confirmed the result and left Complete Domsetrcool a far more broken and battered squad for the encounter.

Most Important Result - Complete Domstercool 0 – 3 Recall United, Recall need every goal to stay ahead of the charging Rabies.

Turned on Style – Lededhead Dominatrix recover some of their early promise.

Player of the Day - Rex Hollingdale for Recall United seemed to be everywhere at once, scoring two and setting up another.

Round 14

AFC ReZ’s Rabies 1 – 0 Lededhead Dominatrix

Dominatrix had no answer to the Rabies tidal like offensive capabilities as their defensive wall was totally swamped even if it didn’t actually crumble. Karushe Valianter scored what would prove to be the winning goal after 23 minutes with a superb header. Rabies attacked again and again with no real response but ultimately failed to find the back of the net. The goaline should have been higher but this still leaves right on track for a league championship showdown with leaders Recall United.

Complete Domsetrcool 3 – 0 Martinsists Men

Things continued to be bad for the men as Domstercool smashed them for three on home soil. Benham scored once in each half with Whiteman making it three before the break. The Men were essentially nowhere, defence was poorly organised and offence non-existent. I pleasant but not very useful game that was practically gifted to Complete Domstercool.

Recall United 2 – 1 Murrchester United

It was another confident performance for the league leaders despite the close scoreline with Recall spending most of the match on the front foot. MacCalman scored a satisfying penalty after 10 minutes with Solano making two before the break. Murchester regrouped and seemed a more efficient unit in the second half, a superb signature strike from Eichi Takeo giving the visiting fans something to enjoy before the whistle.

Juicy Fruits 1 – 2 Bayern Fish

Bayern cemented their claim to being the top rookie squad this season with a hard fought win over a Fruits side still hungry for solid success. The Fish took a solid lead in the first half with stars Niskanen and Rydman storming the opposition in a wild fury. Fruits recovered after the break and went on the counter attack but were only rewarded with a single after a bursting run by their own star man Ruud Jordan, the final score leaving Fish looking good for promotion.

Most Important Result - Juicy Fruits 1 – 2 Bayern Fish, keeping Bayern Fish above water for promotion.

Turned on Style – Recall United, despite the final score.

Player of the Day - Evan Benham finally gets lucky twice for Complete Domstercool.

Round 15

Lededhead Dominatrix 0 – 4 Recall United

With the end of the season in sight Recall haven’t let up in their dominatipon of the league, smashing Dominatrix in a four goal slaughter in front of their own fans. Gers scored fist in just 2 minutes, edging discretely through the defence. Deacon made it two 20 minutes later off a solid corner. Despite a pair of key injuries recall never let up Hollingdale then Deacon both scoring in the second half with superb long range strikes. Final score 0 – 4 leaves Recall moves them closer to victory, though those injuries will be concerning to them.

Marinists Men 0 – 6 Murrchester United

Things could not have gone worse for the Men as Murrchester annihilated them in a veritable goalfest. In the first half the Men lost first Arcanu to injury then Ally Jardin was sent off as Koga and Andrew made it 2 for United. Luke Irving was then badly injured in the second half as the Men went a further three goals down. A final humiliating blow in extra time by no-name Yochi Sahara to make it six to nothing merely underlined a bruising and demoralising day for the struggling Martinists men.

Juicy Fruits 1 – 3 AFC ReZ’s Rabies

It was a valiant display by the Juicy Fruits at their home ground against leading league contenders Rabies but ultimately pluck was not enough as the Rabies ever superior offence shattered the Juicy system. Things started well for the home side as Ruud Jordan broke through almost instantly to score in the first minute. The Rabies soon struck back however with first Alm then Wiberg scoring off great counter attacking play. Things were evenly matched in the second half with both sides showing plenty of nuance but it was Gladh for the Rabies who finally broke through to seal the game with a scrambled third goal for the Rabies.

Bayern Fish 1 – 2 Rising Phoenix

It was mid-heavy match at the Fish Tank with much of the action taking place around either side of the break. Both rookie sides played to their strengths but still suffered from inconsistent overall team efforts. Bolam finally kicked things off proper with a scrambled goal for the visitors after 36 minutes, then Fish start Rydman equalised with a similar effort just before half time. Shortly after the break top Phoenix Lorimer was sent off for an uncharacteristically poor challenge, but despite this Phoenix took the winning goal shortly after with a superb free-kick from Cletus Sheen.

Most Important Result - Juicy Fruits 1 – 3 AFC ReZ’s Rabies, keeping the Rabies in contention for the league cup.

Turned On Style - Murrchester United claiming a devastating victory in an difficult season.

Player of the Day - Reiichi Umemoto earns his captain’s armband for Murrchester.

Round 16

Murrchester United 4 – 0 Complete Domstercool

Murrchester continued their end-season revival as they smashed Complete Domstercool four goals to nothing, much to the adulation of the Murrchester satdium. Star united striker Eichi Takeo blazed a path slotting away three of the home sides’ four goals with Hagiwara scoring the other. Domsetrcool made a decent fight of it setting up good chances but ultimately failed to make the most of them.

Lededhead Dominatrix 1 – 0 Martinists Men

It was far better performance away for the league whipping boys Martinists Men but it still was not enough to overcome Dominmatrix on their home turf. The Men’s defence made a valiant effort, stifling the Dominatrix offence but eventually it was Sebastian Astle who broke through to head the one and only goal of the match after 35 minutes. It wasn’t all good news for Lededhead as Bart Chenery and then Astle himself suffered unlucky injuries leaving Lededhead with a broken system to fix before their next game.

AFC ReZ’s Rabies 2 – 1 Rising Phoenix

The Rabies got the best of the luck against a rash Rising Phoenix, but perhaps should have won by a higher margin given the circumstances. All was square after 34 minutes when McNiven of Phoenix was duly sent off for player misconduct. Despite the man advantage Rabies failed to capitalise until well into the second half with star Hallestrom finally scoring two goals in quick succession. Phoenix then threatened with Smyth pulling one back and looked set to equalise but ran out of time before the final whistle. Phoenix fans must be left wondering what could have been.

Recall United 3 – 0 Juicy Fruits

All the action was going one way at the Albion stadium as Recall easily overcame league rookies Juicy Fruits with the greatest of ease. The Fruits had no answer as first Whiteside then Wallgren slipped through to find the net with Streep sharing the honours before full time. Truly a statement of intent for the league cup as the season enters it’s final phase.

Most Important Result - AFC ReZ’s Rabies 2 – 1 Rising Phoenix keep the Rabies in the running. They may just pull this off...

Turned on Style – Recall United, proving their worth for the trophy.

Player of the Day – Eichi Takeo leading from the front for Murrchester United.

Now we're up to date, here's the latest round. You better brace yourself because this one is *BOOM* hot.

Martinists Men 0 – 1 Juicy Fruits

Once again it was an improved performance by the Men but still they went home empty handed as the Fruits stifled them enough to crawl to victory with a single goal. The Men got the best of the possession throughout but ultimately failed to capitalise. In the end the game was won inside the first three minutes as Kartasemita scrambled through.

Rising Phoenix 0 – 2 Recall United

In the first of the two big games this afternoon leaders Recall United laboured uncharacteristically to secure a vital victory over well-to-do rookies Rising Phoenix to stay ahead of AFC ReZ’s Rabies in the table. Recall struggled to overcome a resilient and aggressive home side but eventually won through in the second half as the little-known Cammy Gers burst through twice to find the net, while enduring several scares from the Phoenix offence. Star Phoenix player Lorimer managed to win and then miss a penalty in extra time and will surely be left gutted to stumble out of the lime light in such a manner.

Complete Domstercool 2 – 1 Lededhead Dominatrix

It was the struggling Domsetrcool underdogs who managed to overcome the much more organised Dominatrix in front of home support as both played for pride with neither now able to make promotion. Action was thin in the first half with few chances from either side but thing took off after the break. Erol Whiteman scored first for CD with a superb counter attack. Lededhead struck back, almost finding the net three times before Jimmy Richards struck again for Domstercool. A single consolation goal for Lededhead in extra time from Tarrant was an unfortunate and perhaps unfair wooden spoon from a very competitive performance.

Bayern Fish 2 – 0 AFC ReZ’s Rabies

An incredible upset in the final game! League contenders Rabies fumbled badly at the Fish Tank this afternoon and have crashed to a 2-0 defeat against Bayern Fish, handing victory with one round to spare to Recall United. The Rabies were simply out played and out manoeuvred, failing to make good their chances as the Fish romped home to a convincing win. Niskanen scored early with a superb header, and then the game was sealed late with a second from Rosberg. The normally reliable Rabies offence simply wasn’t there on the day, the whole team finally snapping under the pressure of the chase. A disastrous performance in every single way and a poor unfortunate way to loose for the feisty league contenders.

RECALL UNITED WINS. RECALL UNITED WINS. RECALL UNITED WINS. RECALL UNITED ARE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS.

Most Important Result – Bayern Fish 2 – 0 AFC Rez’s Rabies – handing league victory to Recall United.

Turned on Style – Bayern Fish destroy vastly superior opposition.

Player of the Day – Cammy Gers steps up from nowhere to lead Recall United to decisive victory.

Bru if you think you're gonna be spared, you're wrong.

Madpool 6-1 Bayern Bru

Madpool ended a recent dreadful run while adding to Brus own problems with a thumbing 6-1 win. Both sides had lost a streak of 4 plus games going into this match and are potential shock relegation candidates. It was Madpool who stepped up as they humiliated Bru 6-1, mistakes from the Bru goalie and Darbyshire in defense let Madpool expose Bru. Naranjo was on great form which was important as Madpool played a 4-5-1 formation, Naranjo scored via a long range shot early on. Brus 4-4-2 formation looked limp and Madpool carried on making more chances, Quintal curled in a long range shot and then converted a penalty to make it 3-0. Trainer hit one in from a corner to make it 4-0 at half time, Trainer then smacked in a powerful ground shot to make it 5-0 a minute into the 2nd half. A rare Madpool mistake let a quiet Brusling get his team a consolation goal from a penalty. Hadley put through Yamanishi who took it past the goalie and flicked it in the net, thankfully for Bru this was the final goal. It was an incredible rout and could be a crucial match for both clubs who were both in free fall mode before today.

Haden United 1-1 Essex Elites

Uniteds tendency for draws carried on as a revitalized Elites squad took a hard earned point away from home. Both teams played 4-4-2 and played cautiously, while the United attack looked more potent the Elites tactics seemed sounder. The Elites had 3 chances compared to a mere 1 for United, Cotino lost his marker and sent in a great cross that Marples smashed home with a powerful header that sent the away crowd wild. Eveleens has been a useful goal scorer for United this season and the midfielder rose to the occasion again nodding the ball in off the post just before the 1st half ended. The game never really came alive in the 2nd half with the Elites only having one or two chances to cause an upset. United looked dull and predictable and the Elites took their opportunity to gain a valuable away point but it may not be enough to stay up.

DuDs Baggies 2-0 Cubic County

The Baggies fine run of form carried on as they took care of a rapidly falling County side. Baggies played a 5-4-1 formation against a 4-3-3 County attacking line up, while the County attack looked good the Baggies controlled the game masterfully. With 58% possession and 7 chances to 2 County's tactics were undermined. The lone striker Shelton made the chances count as he settled himself for a long range shot on the 64th minute that nestled in the top right hand corner of the net. Up and coming midfielder Zipper made some space and put Lyall through for a close range shot that he made no mistakes with. Baggies deserved to win and continue their ascent into the top half of the league while County look more likely to be relegated every game.

Roostophe Rovers 0-3 Mcoys Sons

The teams with a lone striker tended to do best today and it was true again in this match. The Sons won a historic victory away to Rovers in style, playing 4-5-1 against Rovers 3-5-2 was a masterstroke. The Sons looked secure at the back, beat Rovers in midfield (8 chances to 2) and their lone striker nearly did as well as 2 men for Rovers. After a temperamental 1st half that saw 3 yellow cards, both teams came out all guns blazing for the 2nd half. Gaye started the scoring with a free kick that flew straight into the back of the net leaving the Rovers goalie standing. Rovers had a chance to get right back into it when they were awarded a penalty, however Grabinski was no match for a superb Porta who tipped the ball over the bar for a corner to the delight of his team mates. This galvanized the Sons as Gaye set up Jevons for a blistering long range shot that exposed Bruijn again. In extra time the Sons scored again when Gaye who was wonderful all match curled in a corner that Jevons tapped in. The Sons were well worth this victory getting both their tactics and team selection spot on. For Rovers this was poor, they seem had seemed to have gotten over their bad start to the season but are now looking at the relegation zone with apprehension.

I was doing quite well, then I went on holiday (missing two games) and my team hasn't done a single thing since.
