Posted June 17, 2010 Xpert 11 Season 14 The situation as it stands Right now I think we are looking at 9 teams per league. We have 4 new teams so far but have also lost some players, Tin Can Club, Veni etc. If you have any friends or forum members that want to play it is still not to late! I may leave a inactive team in the lower league just so it keeps it at 9 and the seasons are the same length. Is the Report Dead? The report will be back next season. However I find myself sadly with less time than before and will be limiting myself to doing it just for the top league. However I would be very happy if anyone would like to do it for another league or even the other two. I think it is a fun thing but do not have the time to do all 3. If that does sound good to any budding writers PM me. When will the season start? I think a weeks downtime may be good with the estimated start date of the Friday 25th of June. If this is to early let me know and I will put it back to the Tuesday. This OP will be updated as I finalise the leagues and their members. It is very likely that Soap Box Utd will be staying in the middle league. J7 could you tell him the good or maybe bad news? Regards and looking forward to Season 14! Posted June 17, 2010 A weeks downtime is enough for me. I can't envisage making any major changes however some of the new players might want a bit longer to get to grips with the game, sort their team out and also play a couple friendlies? Posted June 18, 2010 (edited) I'm picking out new players for Recall. Got a few older players who i think won't be around by the end of this season, so am investing in a few youngsters to replace them (thanks to some advice i was given). See if i can develop them further. So i think i shall be using this season to develop some youth players (i say youth, more like players i don't use often mixed with the youngsters) and see how i go from there. Posted June 19, 2010 Mcoy had a fantastic slug fest with Roostoph in a friendly. Mcoy knows that both sides weren't really playing seriously though. Posted June 20, 2010 Preparing my squad for the new season. Bought 3 new players, all youngsters as well. Have a new keeper (19-5), defender (18-4) and a striker (20-5). Shall be testing them out over this season, see if i can develop them. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) I spent all my money on a new goalkeeper. He's 33 years old but he's both younger and better than the goalkeeper I used before. Hopefully he's form development will make sense too. I still can't believe how he lost 7 bars after winning the match 3-0. Who's up for a friendly on Tuesday? My players form are so horrible after my loss against Martinist Men. Half my squad has less than 10 in form. 5 players with 5 or less. Training gets me nowhere but a good match might do the trick.
