Retro_Link Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Just announced! Looks incredible! Seems to draw from Paper Mario for graphical inspiration. Edited June 15, 2010 by Retro_Link
killer kirby Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 This is Epic beyond all proportions....I MUST HAVE IT NOW!!!!!!
darksnowman Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Epic Yarn looked like a labour of love. I can't wait til it comes out.

Nolan Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 All of the awesome made my eyes water. This was immediately after I laughed at the title "Epic Yarn". It really is epic yarn.
Retro_Link Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Fuck the name, gimme the game.But... his yarn is EPIC!! I hope we find out later in the game that the yarn is made from "100% pure win"
James McGeachie Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 The visual style and gameplay concept are awesome. But I feel really bad for this game. It can't possibly sell. It just can't.
Retro_Link Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Yeah but I'm sure Nintendo are realistic with its sales figures when it comes to a Kirby title. They'll know what to expect and who's likely to buy it. I'm sure they've planned dev costs around this.
Nolan Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 But I feel really bad for this game. It can't possibly sell. It just can't. Well, not with that Attitude
killer kirby Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Kirby surprisingly sells well. especially in Japan. Don't be surprised it does well.
daftada Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I cant decide whether this or DKC returns is my game of the show so far - this looks amazing fun!
Fused King Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I think Fused-King named this game. I keep meaning to cry, but ..... It just won't come out...... I'm so happy Kirby Wii and Paper Mario 4Will be very pleased if those are surpises! It happened:D
ShadowV7 Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Isn't this for the Wii? I'm fairly sure it is. EDIT- Damn you mod ninjas!
mcj metroid Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 reminds me so much of yoshi's story crossed with little big planet hope its better than that though
James McGeachie Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Reggie basically finally put the nail in the coffin of Kirby GC I think by the way. He specifically made a reference to whether they should just attempt to stich together a product from old development, obviously a reference to that game, then brushed it off by showing this title. What I really like about this game by the way is that I actually thought I was already beyond the point of ever seeing a truly unique visual style ever again, then this came along and proved me wrong.
Jonnas Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 This is the most adorable videogame art style I've ever laid my eyes on Seriously, it's just amazing. I want to cuddle it.
Eenuh Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Saaaaame! It looks so nice and soft and cute and ahhhhhhh. I want it! Now! =D
Dante Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 reminds me so much of yoshi's story crossed with little big planet.hope its better than that though Or Paper Mario and Cave Story
Rummy Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I gave up caring about E3 and gaming news a bit. I've seen and heard different things, new zeldas, goldeneyes, some other stuff, but this is the only thing I've heard and actually be excited about! Looks f'in pukka too, I love the little pink guy, and it's good to finally have him back again, been far too long! (did get a Yoshi's story vibe from the trailer tho, looks and sounds really)
Cube Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I love the art style, and the game looks like a lot of fun, too. I can't wait until someone makes some of those screenshots for real. Edit: It reminded me of Yoshi's Story, too. I loved that game.
Ashley Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I hope its longer than Yoshi's Story though. One of my friend's flats had it in first year and I went there one day and completed it in an hour or two. An awesome hour or two mind
