Think you'll remember this place in years to come?

I still remember the forum I used to hang out at years ago (I think when I was 16 and stuff), so I do believe I will remember this place as well. Though I'm not planning on leaving quite yet. =P

Too many nice/great/awesome people on here for me to forget the place anyway. =D

Probably won't leave this forum for a looong time. (Sorry, guys! :p) I love this place too much. I've been a member of two other forums. One of them died pretty quickly following low activity, and I realised the other was full of immature, narrow-minded, selfish brats, so this is definitely the best forum I've ever been on.

I just remembered I had a strange dream last night in which I met some of you guys in real life. One of them was bluey (in a Japanese school uniform! -.-') and I never found out who the other guy was. I don't even know what you guys look like!

Oh no. I definitely won't forget this forum in a hurry. For old times' sake I even have the Cube-Europe scheme.

I've been a proper member here for the last 4 years, I also remember my first post (A prediction for Euro 2004 - I probably said something along the lines of "England will win it.").

This forum is the first forum I ever joined. So I think I'll remember it.

same.

i've been here for just over 2 years now i think. Also this forum isn't crawling with the usual idiots and fanboys i usually find around these kind of boards. You guys are actually normal, civilised people. Although when i first joined Nintendork really pissed me off, i just wanted to strangle him.

Really too early for me to say. I certainly don't think I'll be leaving any time soon, but whether I'll actually remember it when I've stopped using it for years?

I'm too still n00by to have experienced something really epic go down round these parts. King V's popping of his cherry came sort of close, but I'll probably forget that the second I've lost my own virginity. Don't have a clue what the "Epic thread" was that is fabled so much.

I rember going on the NoE forum a while ago and someone posted that they'd just won the jackpot on the lottery - now that I won't forget for some time. Someone do something similar and I'll never forget you :P

I'm pleased to see that we have embraced the term "KNEE" on this forum. :)

I've been here for quite a long time, as well. I think I was also the first, second or third person to sign up to Revolution-Europe's forums, as me and platty were sorting out the new forums and stuff before other people caught wind of the change that they would soon undergo.

I love this place, and I've loved being a regular poster, a moderator of the gamecube board, site staff and especially being an admin. I've had a lot of highs and lows on this forum, but it's always been there for me, throughout.

Plus, I now have a number of good friends from here. I think I will always remember this place, as its like a second family.

Yeah, I have some fond memories of GCXL. I think I joined when I was 13? So 7 years ago. I remember being a big klutz. Remember The Animal Crossing and Mordecai's Crystal Chronicles board?

It's a new way of living and socialising and who knows how it will all work out. I turned out OK I think.

I wonder who will be the first to make an "I've just got my pension" thread? (and I mean truthfully, so don't go and make one now)

Rokhed will, I imagine!

I saw the instance you started pushing this 'knee' terminology... I hate how the things I try to invent seem to take off ages after I try; just liek the "how was your day?" thread. I totally had the idea first, like, 7 months before the original thread.

There are no randomly capitalised "N's" in your name. How do you expect to gain respect with all lower case letters?

People demand discipline! Give them an underscore or two, and show them whose boss.

There's so much love in this thread.

I was a moderator and long time member of gamecubexl.com at the same time that I was the chief admin here. That place died because the members who had been there since the early times started thinking they were above all the noobs, and just generally didn't seem to want new members hanging around. In the end, the people who made the place what it was found better things to do i guess, old moderators and admins left and either weren't replaced or were replaced with irresponsible dickheads :) In its last few months the place was more or less an unmoderated shit heap, and the owner eventually decided to pull the plug.

Well shoot! Was your name Jim on their too? I think I remember a Jim!

I know there was trouble towards the end - and then one admin deleted it. Cuh.

Ah, the famous, "HeY gUyS dOeS aNyOnE wAnNa MaKe A wEbSiTe WiTh Me?" thread. I fell in love with you. Mordecai's boards were good, it's just his websites never took off. :heh:

Of course i'd remember this place, no matter where i go whatever i do i shall always remember the great times i've been here.

I still visit my first forums i joined back when i was 15, they have moved on a lot full of noobs and spammers. Its hard to find people like everyone on here on there these days as all the greats have all moved on now except a few and they visit once in a while.
