Eenuh Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I think I probably was in my underwear at the time Eenuh posted that too actually. Laptop + wireless + bed = awesome. It indeed is awesome. *pets her laptop* I'm dressed now, but I'm so freakishly uncomfortable. It's not even -that- hot (somewhere around 27-29°), but it's very humid and I think we'll get another thunder/lightning show tonight, possibly. Mom left to Spain this morning with my aunt (another aunt is already there) and she'll be staying for a week. I wish I could've gone with her. =( It's actually cooler there than it is here. Edit: there we go! Thunder already.
Slaggis Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I'm pretrified about tomorrow's Bio exam. I'm only taking Module 1 tomorrow, but it's my only chance. If I don't get a C (best I can expect with the short amount of time I had to learn it) I'm stuffed - it would mean a Uni would have to have a lot of faith in me to take me on. I'm trying to revise, but failing drastically. *Smashes head against computer desk*
mcj metroid Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I always get that i'm so bored i'm tired attitude. I'm playing through chrono trigger at the moment.Day off work today(I work in a storm cinema)

I hate biology tests, the mark schemes are too specific.
MoogleViper Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I think I probably was in my underwear at the time Eenuh posted that too actually. Laptop + wireless + bed = awesome. Porn in bed. (after your test I mean)
Strider Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 When are you going to school? (after your test I mean) Umm maybe next Monday? I don't really know when A2 starts. The calander says Monday 9th so i would think then. Although some of my teachers said they arn't going to bother starting
EchoDesiato Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Edit: there we go! Thunder already. Yup here too. Are loud and close one just now. Weird how I had AC-DC's Thunderstruck in my head earlier today.
MoogleViper Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I'm off to the gym in a few minutes for my induction. Umm maybe next Monday? I don't really know when A2 starts. The calander says Monday 9th so i would think then. Although some of my teachers said they arn't going to bother starting I'll probably go then then. Does anybody know when we get our results?
Coolness Bears Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I'm off to the gym in a few minutes for my induction. I'll probably go then then. Does anybody know when we get our results? I Think results are on August the 14th (for AS) My day has been ok. Had my History AS exam this afternoon which went much better than I thought. I feel that I lacked knowledge in my first question and I ran out of time on the second. >___< Tonight will consist of revising for my last exam (which is tomorrow) and a tasty bacon salad.
Eenuh Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Yup here too. Are loud and close one just now. Weird how I had AC-DC's Thunderstruck in my head earlier today. Yeah, it's really loud here too. There's a constant rumble going on (seriously, not a second without sound), plus the hail cannons are blasting again as well. And it's pouringggggggg. You can do it! =D Thanks Eenuh! just needed that bit more motivation to get me to revise tonight. Half way through the exam the rain was pouring on the tin roof of the sports hall and made a very distracting noise! Someone has asked this already before! but I'm afraid I've already forgotten Eenuh, what is a Hail Cannon?
Strider Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I Think results are on August the 14th (for AS) Really? Damn, i think i'm on holiday. I thought it was later than that, ahh well. My days consisted of revising biology. I was woken at 6:20am by my brother who sounded like he was marching across the landing. When people are asleep normal folk would usually try to be quiet, not him (He's 20 as well!) After my bro and mum left to go to Birmingham i started my revision. Although i kept being drawn to watching crap day time tv. It was one of those shows like bargain hunt but they were selling stuff as a garage sale type thing. They sold a PS1 with no leads/controller or game for £15. I really should be revising now.
Haver Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Is it me, or is -- remarkably -- Paris Hilton (and J Hudson) the only well-dressed, non weird, non ugly, non malfunctioning person in any of these photos? Notable examples: Anne Hathaway, Katie and Tom, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, those british non-celebs. It just struck me that the snappers took all their shots from the worst angles possible and made everyone look really ugly, including Rihanna with that weird stomach flap. The Pussy Cat Doll woman is freaking me out. Will Smith does look normal, but, you know, Scientology and all that. JB looks awesome though, obv. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/showbiz/article-23489275-details/Lindsay+Lohan+wins+most+embarrassing+wardrobe+malfunction+as+Young+Hollywood+turn+out+at+MTV+Movie+Awards/article.do
Eenuh Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Holy shit it's coming down hard here. O.O You know how in movies when it rains it always seems to rain 100x worse than it would normally? That's what it looks like over here. The water is gushing against the street and walls of houses. Our garden is a swamp and our street is slowly flooding (for real). And again there's water dripping into our house.
Ashley Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Went to uni to try and sort out my timetable for next year but its still not sorted out. Curses. The woman suggested I think about sticking with major/minor though, because it looks better apparently (compared to single). Wish I'd taken more film modules this year as there is only three to chose from in the third year and they're awkwardly placed. Parental drama arose again so I have bought junk food and deciding between watching Pom Poko (which I got today and not seen) or Howl's Moving Castle (which I know and love) tonight.
Raining_again Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 My boss came into work with fucking SCARLET FEVER. And he knows that I have a weak immune system. But! my copy of Picross DS was dispatched today
nightwolf Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I found out my grandad died today, I'm not sure how I feel about it, he's technically my bloody grandad (I have my step-mums parents who are my grandparents even without the blood ties, end of.) and I never got to knew him, I used to go round as a child but because of family reasons after about 4 I had to stop going. It's strange to think that's another person that I might not have ever been able to meet because of cancer, even though I hated him and my nana for what they did during my mothers death it might have been worthwhile going to see him before he died. On a lighter note however I found out I was supposed to be in college today but apprently nobody else knew either because only four people turned up, so I'll go in wednesday as I have tuesday's off usually and see. heh ^_^
Dante Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 My house is very clean and empty now for the funeral tomorrow.

Eenuh Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Out of curiosity, what part of Spain have they gone to? Calpe, close to Alicante. My grandparents bought a little apartment and house there a long time ago (before I was born) and our entire family (all their 10 children and grandchildren and their grand-grandchildren) has been going there for years now. We actually go pretty much each summer. The three of them are there now to redecorate the house a bit. Painted the walls again and tomorrow they will go to Ikea to buy some new furniture (which is much needed!). So our street kinda flooded. Here's a crappy pic. Poor neighbours are still cleaning out their house at the moment. We were lucky since our house is built up higher. Even the field behind our house was partially flooded. And the entire street that connects to ours (big street) got flooded as well. My sister's friend lives there and their entire basement got flooded all the way up to the ceiling. Which sucks since their fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer etc. are down there. And they're without power now. =/ And this storm kept me from revising, boooh!
The fish Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I forgot to mention, I did my C3 maths A-level retake today, it was stupidly easy. God knows how I only got a D in January...
nightwolf Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 My house is very clean and empty now for the funeral tomorrow. *big hugs* I'm going to the funeral on tuesday, alittle more upset than I thought I'd be..
Platty Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Awesome flood pic Eenuh. Well not for the people who are flooded but yeah. My day = wake up late for work, sprint for the train, get the train, then it decides to go slow anyway :/ Come home from work knackered but motivated myself up to go gym and now im in pain but glad I went
Tellyn Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 And on that note, I also did a GCSE maths paper today, hopefully the last time I'll have to do academic maths again. I didn't finish the paper completely since I ran out of time, pretty angry with myself.
