They are a solid set of results. Predicted grades are total bullshit though. Mock results are a far more accurate point of comparison. Did you match/beat those?

 

 

I did achieve most of my predicted grades but that is beside the point.

 

Erm I did in Maths I am certain. Its just the Ds that are pissing me off

Biology - B

English - A

Business Studies - A*

 

This adds on to the two B's I got last year for Media Studies and Business Communications. Little bit dissapointed with Chemistry, would have expected a B but my exam went quite bad. Apart from that though, I'm ecstatic with my results :D:yay: Particularly for English, Literature and Geography as I am continuing those next year at A level. So yes, very pleased :). I jet off to the Bahamas at 5am tommorow morning as well so I'm very excited for that as well.

 

EDIT - Also well done to anyone who got good results and what they were hoping for :)

To everyone that's got a C or higher in Maths and English then congrats you won't have to redo it at College.

I laughed at the people who had to do Key Skills at my college because they didn't take IT. They had a lesson asking them if they knew how to turn on a computer. I did feel sorry for them at the same time.

Pleased with that. I was trying to get all the different letters possible. Got 4/9. Not bad.

I'm royally fucked off. My english language, they decided not to grade me, so they gave me a U, all because I was assulted and couldn't do it, my english lit I got a B.

 

I want to scream.

 

but are these exams important in any way . I mean are these the english equivilant of the junior cert?

How did you beat me in Geography?? Donnelly said he was 'pleased' with my result, its obvious he wasnt. He desberatly wanted an A.

That was a few years ago obviously, but from what Ive seen of the results from you guys of GCSE's it looks like you now have alot more to choose from then I did. In my school I think the maximum you could get was 10 A-C's...

 

Like I dont understand how Ant got 5 grades just for ICT? We only got 2

Anyways congratulations everybody!!!

 

 

I took the Double Award which equals 4 GCSE's + DiDA an extra qualification

Congratulations to everyone for their GCSE's!

I got my AS results last week, and i managed to get 3 A's, which I was very pleased with, seeing my teacher insisted i would get a B at french.

Only one more year left, then i can have a gap year! yay!
