Looks just the same as all the other Mario sports titles!

Hope it's not just track and field events, as they could get alot of fun from other events like...

- Canoeing/White Water Slalom

- Clay pigeon shooting

- Archery

- Swimming

- Hockey

- Volleyball

- Badminton

- Table Tennis

- Squash

But Wouldn't sonic easily win the race? How are they going to even it.

Well, I'm guessing that characters will be balanced out a bit.

The Winner is who can shake the Wii Remote/Nunchuck the fastest. Probably.

Isn't it a tad obvious who would win if it werent a 'Mario' game?

Sonic vs Fox in a sprint. Now that would be a race.

I'm very worried about this game. Can we really take another Mario Spin off?

The graphics are looking a bit underwhelming. Where's the Anti-aliasing? I tought they had it figured out now after seeing the excellent Mario Galaxy footage...

And I sense a button bashing fest...

I love the trailer, very epic with the "movie voice over guy".

And i'm only just realizing how perfect it is that Mario and Sonic will for the first time appear in a game together in a game based around the Olympics which is an event that brings the world together.

Although the idea that Mario could keep up with Sonic in a foot race is a little too much.

bang on, mario eating herbs to improve his performance suddenly becomes troubling if you make an official Olympic game!

haha, yeah i never thought of that, do you think they would actually use "power-ups" in this game though?

EDIT:

Actually just remembered one of the items in Mario Strikers is a mushroom that when used makes you run faster? :heh:
