Infinete Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Just a circus theme. It would start all slow and depressing, and suddenly it would pick up and clowns would burst out of the curtains juggling stuff etc. This tremendous cake would hopefully be iced by a clown making an R I P out of balloons as he danced on top of my coffin. omg, thats gotta be the funniest idea for a funeral i've ever heard, if someone at the funeral happens to have a birthday that day, you could make it a double death/bday bash. on the off chance that i one day die, i'd get hold of a full dead band, i'd be lead and vocalist, i havent decided whiether we are zombies or ghosts yet, but we would play; 1. In the End by Linkin Park 2. When I'm Gone by Eminem 3. The Ballard of Paul K by McFly 4. How Do I Live by Leann Rimes 5. The Day That I Die by Good Charlotte (and because i know people will want an oncour) 6. Adams Song by Blink 182

Fierce_LiNk Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Let's play morbid! Queen and Bowie - Under Pressure New Order - Ceremony Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart U2 - With or Without You Whoa, awesome choices. I'm feeling really pissed off at the moment, so I think it would be pretty easy to make a list like this now. Joy Division- Love will tear us apart David Bowie - Starman Foo Fighters - Everlong Coldplay - Fix you Feeder- Yesterday went too soon. Edit: If I had to die with one song in the background, it would be So Here We Are by Bloc Party.
Monopolyman Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Jamiroquai- Deeper Underground Alternitively, The Theme from Shaft.
fanman Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Anything japanese or from the blues brothers soundtrack.
Noodleman Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 I plan on being cremated: Johnny Cash - Hurt - as people walk in Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly. Iron Butterfly - In da Gadda da vida (sp? cant be arsed to check) ala The Simpsons, because it would ammuse me. R.A.T.M - Bombtrack As The coffin is lowered into the furnace, "Burn, burn yes you're gonna burn" so fitting imo. Faithless - Insomnia, as people leave, because the irony of "I cant get no sleep" would also ammuse me. Note only 1 or 2 may be sensible.
MoogleViper Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Everybody Hurts - R.E.M I want everybody crying at my funeral, I want to know that I'm missed.
ipaul Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here Coldplay - The Scientist Led Zeppelin - Good Times Bad Times Queen - Another One Bites The Dust Thats pretty much all I can think of right now. The latter two mentioned are more for comedy value of course

ipaul Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Knocking on Heavan's door - i think its by guns and roses I believe thiers to be a cover.... I think Eric Calpton did it first.
DCK Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 I'd say U2's Bad is very fitting for this, but I guess Bono screaming "I'm Wide Awake" throughout much of the song would be morbid.
Dyson Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 What with me being a Capricorn/Aquarius: Jamiroquai - Black Capricorn Day
Shorty Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Thread too morbid I can't think about these things. Bright Eyes - A Song to Pass the Time Joshua Radin - Winter The Doors - The End Okkervil River - Black Sheep Boy Semisonic - Closing Time You will cry.

Burn mother fucker burn" (im being cremated) hmm, might leave instructions for that one to be a sing-along I wonder if i could rig it so they bring the coffin but forget my body? that would be great!
UziT Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 2pac - I aint mad at ya 2pac - Life goes on and no friging weed smoking please...
Oxigen_Waste Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Necro - Dead Body Disposal ... but seriously, in this order: Metallica - Fade To Black Tool - 10.000 Days Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond Pts. I-VI Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Moya The Doors - The End

Raining_again Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I'll be dead. I don't care what's played.
MoogleViper Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I'd like a song that's related to my death. e.g. If I die in a fire related accident then I'd like Prodigy - Firestarter to be played. If I die of suffocation then I'd like Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe.
Ninty 182 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Johnny Cash - Hurt Bob Dylan - When The Deal Goes Down Led Zepplin - Stairway To Heaven Jeff Buckley - Hallelughia Cat Stevens - Tea For The Tillerman -- And maybe Bob Dylan - Deslation Row
