Well worth reading the whole thread. Sounds like SEGA/Sonic Team screwed up Stealth/Headcannon’s code when they integrated everything together into the final package and didn’t give them a chance to fix anything…
-
Yes, Headcannon worked on this new Sonic 3 port (while Sonic 1 & 2 are ports of the Christian Whitehead mobile remakes). Which makes this all the more shocking.

Err... this collection has some problems...

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

Bummer that the connection conked out right at the end, but it was still an awesome time! Also... you know, Wutang Clan; for some reason! -
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct (Wednesday 22nd June 2022 @ 15:00 BST)
Dcubed replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
As if Nintendo would ever publicly say that the Switch is at the end of its life before they've announced a successor... Half the reason why they failed with the transition from Wii to Wii U was because they waited too long to replace the Wii. They're making the same bloody mistake again! -
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct (Wednesday 22nd June 2022 @ 15:00 BST)

JFC, Nintendo seriously are gonna wait until March 2024 to release Switch 2 aren't they? This is ridiculous! Switch will be 7 years old by then!!! 1.5 years of DLC support for a game launching this late into the Switch's lifecycle is absolutely insane!! -
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct (Wednesday 22nd June 2022 @ 15:00 BST)

You're not getting two Directs back to back, that's just stupid. If they wanted to show off Xenoblade 3 in a Direct, they would've just put the content into the supposed E3 Direct. The truth is that there is no E3 Direct. -

So much for the mythical E3 Direct then... -
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

Defo. This game is definitely amongst the best games released this year. Though lets be honest, Elden Ring is going to win a clean sweep amongst all non-Nintendo sites out there. There might as well have not been a single other game released this year when it comes to GOTY votes. -
Let's be brutally honest, the game looks crap. It has a terrible, flawed premise and it's coming from a developer who has a proven track record of making mostly bad Sonic games. There is no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing that they got it all working so well! DS games have also been brought back online as well, and the way you get it up and running doesn't require any modding whatsoever. You literally just put in a specific DNS address into your DS/DSi's settings and that's it! Everything's back up and running again! I'd love to organise a retro Wii/DS online night at some point!

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Switch, PS4, Xbox, PC)

This game is COWABUNGA!!! That is all -
I think the original FF7 is still really impressive to this day. I first played through it proper in the mid 2000s and was blown away even then! The way that the game seamlessly mixes & transitions between the FMV and the static pre-rendered backgrounds always was, and still is, enormously impressive and well done!

Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion (13th December 2022)
Dcubed replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Genuinely surprised that it seems to be a full remake. Was expecting just a remaster of the PSP original! Makes the lack of FF7R on Switch all the more egregious (and all the more obvious a result of a Sony moneyhat). -
So the plot revolves around rewriting history and preventing Aerith’s death, as we all expected. Can’t help but feel that this is in somewhat poor taste. Feels kind of offensive to the original game and its most iconic moment… though I suppose the entire thematic threadline of this new FF7 series is to throw a middle finger to existing canon, so it makes sense that they’d go this route. The third & final episode will probably be called Final Fantasy 7: Reunion. It’ll also probably involve the original game and Remake timelines converging in some way, which is where the title will get its double meaning from.

Holy crap I got a LOT of clips tonight… Radical games tonight!

It’s not hard to see the similarities between No Man’s Sky and Starfield. I mean, Starfield is basically NMS with the serial numbers filed off and a story/spaceship builder added on top. If you like NMS, you’ll probably like Starfield when it comes out.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume that this is a port of the PSP remake. Which would be just fine

All-new PlayStation Plus: Premium / Deluxe | Extra | Essential
Dcubed replied to Julius's topic in Other Consoles
Apparently all of the PS1 games on the US service are the US NTSC versions. Thank God! Unfortunately though, it sounds like Sony have done nothing to fix the PS2 games on PS5; so you still need a PS4/PS4 Pro unless you want to play them with mangled & broken graphics. -
Heads up, Nioh 3 Wo Long is NOT an Xbox exclusive...

Now THAT is a Hate Play if I ever saw one!
