  1. I know how you feel. This has happened to me quite a few times in the last two years. Either a filling coming out or part of a tooth breaking off. Often when eating something plain like toast or a fruit bar. Makes me nervous to eat stuff sometimes. =( Last month I even had a filling come out 3 hours after it was put in. I was not pleased as I had paid something ridiculous like £90 for that thing!
  2. Thanks for that Rummy! I decided to go with the digital copy in the end after getting a bigger SD card, got it for about £25. Downloading now! Just have to hope I never lose my 3DS or something. =P
  3. Thanks, bought that one! Seems like a good price and if you say yours works great, then it should be good. Hope it gets here in time for my holiday! =)
  4. I might look to buy a new SD card for my 3DS, as the 2GB one in there only holds 2 games or something. And I need more space! However, it is not exactly clear to me which cards are exactly compatible with the 3DS (and cheap as well). I found this list but they are all kind pricey: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/517/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xNDAzNDMyNTQ2L3NpZC92dXhwTHJYbA%3D%3D Does anyone know of an SD card with big capacity (16 or 32GB) that is decently priced and compatible? =)
  5. Man finds owl in room, freaks out a little: Then he tries to get the owl out of his house:
  6. Anyone know the cheapest place to get Kirby Triple Deluxe? Cheapest I have seen is for 25.99 from cdkeys.com, but it would be digital (which means I need to get a bigger SD card as I don't have space left). Or anyone selling their game? =P
  7. Well done Animal, so happy for you! I am sure that you will do a great job in your new place! It might be scary at first because it is all new and different, but you can do it. =) As for your annual leave which you didn't take, wouldn't you be paid for the days that are left over? I don't know how it works on your contract, but when I left my job, I was paid for my untaken annual leave. Definitely check with HR what will happen and what you are entitled to. Good luck!
  8. I watched Flink play TR yesterday, but we noticed that there were quite a few moments where the game "froze", like where the sound would disappear of the movement would stop for a second. Usually seemed to happen in action parts as well, which kind of ruins the flow of the game. Is this normal? I might play this game at some point as well, though I am not very good with tense games like this so we'll see heh. Oh, would there be any chance in the future of Ni No Kuni being released for the PS4? I want it. =(

    Mario Kart 8

Played through 50cc at the moment, will move onto 100cc now. Two questions though: - How exactly do you perform tricks? - In single player, is it possible to play with the Pro controller instead of the gamepad? If so, how do I do this?
  10. Thanks guys, I will look into the books mentioned! I will be visiting the local library (first time since I moved here) so hopefully they have them there. =)
  11. Darnit, I knew he should have waited. =P The PS4 got delivery today, however annoyingly Flink won't be home until tomorrow because he is at a school camp out (and he haaaaates camping). I feel sorry for him haha.
  12. Sorry for bumping this thread, couldn't find a more current one. I need some help in finding some good books for when I go on holiday! I haven't read any books in years so don't really know what is out there and worth reading. Anyone have suggestions? To give you on idea of what I like, some of the books I remember reading years ago (seriously, it has been ages) and liking are: - 1984, Animal Farm - Short stories by Edgar Allan Poe - Narnia Chronicles - The Hobbit - Some Terry Pratchett books - Life of Pi - Northern Lights ... Of course there is more I read, but this is all I can remember from the top of my head. I am looking for books in the same style I guess (fantasy type stories seem to catch my interest quite well), though if there are any classics I should read, feel free to let me know! =)
  13. I hate going through recruitment agencies, they were the worst ever in helping me get a job. I never heard back from any of them when I applied for a job through them, or they were too slow in getting my CV through. Even went through the trouble of physically going to one of the agencies to sign up with them, emailed them again a few times afterwards to check up on progress and they never replied... All the interviews I got recently were done by me contacting the company themselves and not by going through recruitment.
  14. I would looooooooove a Wacom Cintiq HD drawing tablet. Just can't afford it though, doubt I ever will. =( So pretty!
  15. I'll try a few...
  16. I start my new job tomorrow! I am both excited and nervous at the same time! Hope it all turns out well with this job and it will become full-time in the future (if I like it of course). =) Also will go to Belgium on Wednesday to see my family for a few days, yay! It's going to be a busy week!
  17. I'm enjoying the game a lot, definitely worth the 12 quid I think. It is just so very beautiful and the music is great. The dialogue is nice, sometimes it can seem a bit "forced" to try and make it rhyme, but I think it fits the style of the game. =) I have had a few glitches with the sound though while playing this game. One story scene where there was absolutely no sound, then one where there was supposed to be a voice over but it got stuck on "Auro-" and just kept repeating it until I left the scene. Anyone else have had this happen? =P
  18. Weight loss is going at a slow but steady pace, yay! Now lost about 5kg/11 pounds, so whooo! I still have about 8 weeks to lose some more weight before my holiday. Anyone have tips on how I can shift some extra weight? =) I currently try to stick to a healthy diet, trying to stay around or below 1200 calories per day. Plus do about 30-60 minutes of exercise per day (maybe one rest day per week). I have been using the videos on fitnessblender.com to exercise at home. Hope to be doing squash again soon too. Anything else I could do? =)
  19. Anyone played/finished this? I am very much interested! Think I will buy it tomorrow and play it over the long weekend. It looks so beautiful I would buy it just for the visuals. =)
  20. I got the job! =D I start my new part-time job on May 12, whooooo! (and then I go on holiday for a few days from May 14 haha.) I will be on poverty pay, but at least I will get to be creative, yay! I might ask my current job as well if I can get part-time hours there, but not counting on it. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
  21. Thanks for the replies. I mostly had trouble with questions like going against company policy etc., as those don't really apply to me. Doesn't matter now, just had the interview and I think it went quite well actually. I shouldn't get my hopes up but for some reason I have a good feeling about it. Will probably hear more tomorrow.
  22. I've been trying to prepare for my interview by looking at interview questions, but I feel that for most of those questions I simply don't have an answer. My job(s) have been very boring with nothing much happening, so I don't feel like those questions apply to me as I have never been in some of those situations. What do you answer when one of those questions comes up and you simply don't have an answer to it? Do you simply say "I've never been in this situation"? =/
  23. I have an interview coming up with that part-time creative job, yay! Apparently it is a 2 hour long interview process though, so long! 1 hour will be a drawing challenge, half an hour to present whatever they have me draw and talk about my CV. And to start everything off with, half an hour filled with competency based questions. What kind of questions should I prepare for in the competency based part? I know of a few but there always seem to be ones they can surprise me with, and I really want to be prepared for this interview! Also, do I dress smart even though the company seems to be quite... relaxed?
  24. Oh god, I am so exhausted. I did a 1 and a half hour workout yesterday at home, consisting of cardio, HIIT, abs and strength exercises, so today my body is feeling it and everything is sore. However Jim and I decided to play squash again today after a week absence. I didn't think I was gonna play well, but I ended up completely battering Jim! Won 6-0, my best win ever I think! Even though my legs are really sore, I just pushed myself and kept getting most of the shots, whereas Jim just couldn't move at all. Very chuffed! Though I feel a bit sick now after pushing myself that much. =P Fitness is definitely improving, just need to get the weight loss going a bit quicker. Lost about 3.5-4 kg since February, still got about 10 more to go. =(
  25. Did not get the job as a Digital Marketing Assistant. =( But then again I didn't feel like I would be able to do a good enough job anyway, which I guess showed in the interview. My next hope then is this part-time job at that whiteboard animation company. Still working on the application as apparently they don't want an animation, but a PDF... so starting over again. Starting to get tired of this jobhunt. =(
