Should I take advantage of the PS1 sale and get some games on the Vita, or is it worth paying more to get them on my American PSN account on my PSP to get the NTSC versions? I was ready to buy a few the other day, but then I found out that the PAL release of Metal Gear Solid is supposed to be really slow, so now I'm worried. :p

The sale lasts for two weeks. I quite liked MediEvil when I played it on an emulator a few years back.

Awesome, I've been meaning to get some of those games. Well, awesome and slightly annoying, because I hate spending money now on games I won't play until much later.

They weren't going to move the left stick, so it's not like they were using that space for anything else. Besides, the GameCube had a tiny d-pad that didn't take up a lot of space, and that rivaled the 360 d-pad in horribleness.

I never understood why anyone would completely dismiss a platform. I'd buy a voice-controlled toaster if they released a game on it that seemed interesting enough. I think you should get a Vita and play Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. Or a PS2! Then not only would you be able to play Persona 3 and 4, but you'd also be able to play the Digital Devil Saga games, the Raidou games (well, the one that was released in Europe, anyway) and Nocturne (which I haven't played myself, but I know it's supposed to be better than Strange Journey).

At least Wonder Woman gets to take her anger out on criminals every time she goes up a costume size.

Ugh, I feel so emotionally drained after watching the entire season 4 of The Big C in one night. Four hours of watching someone die of cancer. Season 4 felt like a return to form for the series - I really wasn't a fan of season 3. It was kind of funny how they just retconned out the third season finale and dropped all of the stupider storylines.

Well, it has been thirteen years since he appeared on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The man's pushing seventy now. :p

My cousin (who thinks she's a gamer) has a friend (who thinks she's a gamer) and sometimes her Facebook posts show up on my wall when my cousin comments on them. So yesterday she posted a link to the the Xbone news (from a tabloid, because that's where all the gamers get their gaming news these days) and said, "woohoo, guess now I won't have to consider a PS4 if my 360 dies on me." Which begs two questions: a) Thank God she doesn't have to consider getting a PS4 (this isn't really question), and b) Is she just going to keep using her 360 indefinitely instead of getting a new console if it doesn't die on her? I think the thought of only upgrading to a new console when your old one dies is the most offensive thing about her post. My old NES still works! :p What are you, Switzerland?

It's almost like this thread is filled with people complaining about really stupid things. I don't understand why someone would admit to being a fan of The Big Bang Theory.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable and Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky are all half off on PSN for the next two weeks, if anyone's in the mood for some awesome JRPGs. Meanwhile, I'm tempted by Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, even though it looks pretty terrible. And Metal Gear: Peace Walker, to add to my pile of Metal Gear games on the Vita that I will play at some point in the distant future.
