The quieter one is, the more likely is it that they have stuff to do in real life. My work means I get home half 5, and I want to catch up with forum/facebook so that's 30 mins at least, plus dinner... really I only have 3 hours to read stuff. On top of that I sometimes spend my evenings at my gf's or socialising (two-three times a week) and last weekend I was 250 miles away in Leeds with no access to a computer. Considering the youth of this game, it's fair to say that it's unfair to associate my lack of posting with some sort of suspicious behaviour.
Staying quiet can also mean you get less involved with the reams of nonsense that pads these games these days.
Sharing info with oneself is no guarentee that one is town, is it? And surely mafia players are likely to be more involved in a game thread, considering they are to be more alert to the townie's tide of thinking in order to succeed in their own aims? I'm just asking you to be objective, to realise that there is nothing whatsoever on me. It's so early in the game - play by probabilities. If, after this, suspicion is aroused enough for an investigator to target me, then they'll see i'm the townie I claim to be. Similarly, if the hypothesis you suggest is true and I'm mafia, then the next night I'd hesitate when it came to being nefarious, hence just by you signalling an interest, what is there to lose in trusting me and wating for investigators to have a go?
Similarly, if you fail to respond to this logic, you and others who vote for me are adding suspicion to your own selves because surely only mafia will ignore anything I say and try to get a townie lynched?
So yeah - essentially; I'm town. If you want more info then share yours. If you aren't willing to share yours then question why you're not willing, and consider why I'd not be willing (and don't stop when you get to "lol because ur maff lol"). So yeah. lynch me if you want because your feeling of stupidity afterwards will make me feel like a winner anyway.
