When all one drinks is lightning white From mid of day to mid of night...

jayseven picked up his phone, not knowing that tonight it wouldn’t be able to stop the inevitable [i tried to protect yvonne]. EEVILMURRAY set up a trap, catching a shifty tales[/b] who crept into his room. A little while later a woman (esequiel) entered. A woman was on the phone all night once again. [who is this?] A man entered an office, leaving again shortly afterwards. [who is this?] Leftovers, with names of people who voted for danny crossed out; flink Heroicjanitor mr-paul The Peeps The_Arbitor Flink and arbitor should be our priority here. What do we know of them? Vote: Flink ... permission to edit that to sort out tags?

I hope they didn't actually bother 'testing' that mad theory, especially when at the end they said "and she revealed it was all a hoax a month later." -

The end result will be what matters when it comes to deciding which allegiance is best- week by week sounds nice but once a team is in pole position continuously it's a bit unfair.
-
Is there room for another player, maddog? Didn't sign up as I didn't think the game would be over as soon as it was (nordic)

Then what's the point in 100%? I think that's part of the argument, but i dunno as I've skimmed the thread, so I'll moonwalk outta here!

ID cards will provide no new info. The fact is, the UK is getting worse and worse because of privatisation. Power and control is taken away from those we elect into power and, instead, given to those who are driven merely by profit. I agree that we can dislike a government, but the idea of a government is that we're meant to be able to trust in our leaders to do what is best for us. There's too much paranoia about our information - paranoia from people who, as I say, freely have a tescos clubcard, or use facebook, or whatever. Once you realse that being a statistic means there's no personal property to the way information works you'll start to give less of a shit about who has any of it. You may hide your porn browsing from your friends, spouses or family but there are 'bodies' out there who have that information. Does that bother you? BLEH. Big issue at hand. Too drunk to handle it. I believe that honesty is the best policy. That ties in to stuff. I am also a fan in education and information. I am especially eager for people to realise that they do not have all of the information on a particular subject, and I believe it is important for individuals to maintain their opinion whilst being aware of the limited information their opinion is based on. Stuff. THINGS.
-
@ Kurtle Squad; Dude... you're reciting daily mail propaganda. You should surely be more worred about clubcards. It's safer for our government to have our data that it is for global corporations.

Hugs man. heavy shit.

Cheers man I've noticed on gun games/shooters (i forget the name) that I've been slayed even when I've had the trigger first. I know it's a noob move to blame my tools but frankly it's happened so often it had to be something other than me -- slieght of hand it is. Ghost is essentially cold-blooded, right? I've noticed waaay more choppers in Blops. When learning maps I basically do nothing but rush so set-ups for that are very much appreciated. I'll settle once I know where the hot spots are, so I'm all about quick-fire, short-range. Level 9 atm - got to level 6 whilst drunk in sheff so I've not got much going for me atm. Once I know which maps are open/closed I may start shotty-ing it. Never really played that way but hey. Any map packs worth investing in?

There really is. The media... a phrase which really dilutes the responsibility, and the general shitty nature of it all... spins the world we live in. Look at the Sun newspaper - 15 years ago (or whenever) was all "TORIES ARE EVIL NEW LABOUR PLX" then recently "LABOUR ARE GAY VOTE CONSERVBSBS!" ... the country laps it up. It sickens me, but hey. Can't change it.
-
Flink; eurozone only so you'd still need a passport elsewhere. Uk was against ID cards because it negatively spun, primarily focusing on the cost of setting it up. It was said that it would've been necessary to have a card, yet it'd cost £40. Also there was all that debacle about possibly having finger print/retina scanning going along with it. I think that was originally a potential future-thing but the press pressed it as if it was definitely happning blahkablalgadfg. yeah. Would've been smart. Stuff.

I just want to say that I much prefer games where you can't just assume that anyone who is x character has to be evil. This is difficult when a game has a theme where there are canonical baddies that one would expect to be mafia, but generally I think there should be a good focus on daytime cross-examination. This then means that the night-time information should be a scattering of a jigsaw that encourages townies to co-opperate - then the task is to provide mafia with enough manipulative abilities to maintain their disguise... then... yeah it's a nice meta to think about. I always like it when I win I think that mafia had a good chance this game (I measure it upon how 'certain' I've been for each mafia kill...)
-
haha :P Yeah I;m hoping my next maff will do away with that waiting-forever tag I have. The sooner I get to do it the more likely it'll be fine :P

Like retro says... wtf! (logically speaking, you have to be 18+ [in most cases] to have a credit card, so it always frustrates me that it's not accepted as ID. However many parents let their kids use their card to run errands, so it's fair enough) RE: Foreign ID- generally speaking an establishment doesn't have to accept foreign driving licenses, and as always they have the right to refuse custom for anyone! Actually, usually I use my beard for ID. I have lolled and pointed at it when asked for ID before.
-
... And I am unemployed -- thus ready to get my own game going! C'mon guys let's kill all the mafia everywhere! My game will be fun/annoying!
-
Sooo got this game today. Fucking sucking online at the moment, getting like 10 kills and 18 deaths. Getting to know the maps but shit internet connection makes it painful. Not quite gotten to grips with the money-stuff for upgrading weapons... But yeah had a few nice kills (but mostly lots of annoying moments). Played the single player a little and it seems alright. Starting to see what people mean about respawning enemies. usually I'll either sit back and pick people off or run through and be a nutter - this game kinda punishes both forms of play. So yeah. Sucking bad. Really annoying. Kinda considering picking up MW2 again to get my kicks as all the summerfags will be on so easy kills, like :P
-
6-8 I guess? Can have one or two maff. Reason we don't do that is because if town gets lucky the game can be over in two nights.
-
Provisional licence is the correct choice. Taking a passport out is too risky, and it takes up loads of room. Licence sits in your wallet. Lots of areas have their own schemes running for IDs but the problem is not everywhere will accept them.

You're just going to do degrees for teh rest of your life aren't you, Bard? Bardstard. Stard is your new name/closer to your real name.

No, no, no, no, no. Respected critics try to review things against a universal/classical meter. While it's nice to play Spot The Novelty, ultimately anything committed to film is committed to the history of mankind forever. Imagine if/when aliens arrive and go "hey lol. So we wanna catch up with your blox-cool art/culture. Please provide us a list of your 100 greatest movies!" .... then we present them with the 100 latest movies that people lolled at. It's not a fair reflection on our art/culture. It's a fair reflection on current trends and tastes, which will change. Critics these days praise movies they think will be watchable in 10 years time. Critics strip naked and run through streets if they think a movie will still be watched in 50 years time. Movies that do well today... yeah they make money. But movies still rollin' in decades make legends, and end up setting the trends that any ol' regular movie adheres to. There is a larger picture than "well I found it entertaining." Video game reviews... meh. While games have become far less nerdy and secretive in the last 20 years, they're still a very novel form of entertainment and as such there's not really enough history behind it for there to be a fair parallel drawn to movies (and books! Plays! Music!). We may all laud pacman/space invaders/pong, and respect them (despite being shit compared to modern stuff) for the doors they opened to subsequent games, but there's not enough of a folio to truly be able to establish what's Good and Bad and Why. Ok maybe there is, but just not on the same level as there is with movies. ... Yeah was gonna write a paragraph about how both (all?) mediums have changed over the years and gaming is still in flux due to there being a new format at least once a decade (consoles) as opposed to trends in other medium being less flakey, and how that affects replay/rewatching of old stuff and thus makes it harder to truly test how good a piece of art is, then go into how 'art' arises from a medium, rather than art being the drive. But I cba. Entertainment is the drive, the impetus for a medium to deliver. Art is born from this, but is the true goal for anyone who wishes to be more than a footnote in the history books (I'll refrain from an essay on how the entirity of modern human history will in itself be a mere footnote/quarkile monofuse disc in due course).

yeah, exactly. He thinks he has the midas touch but that film just... barf me away from here.

When it was real-time it was scary! I think it made sense to make town stronger than maff because they had the upper hand at that stage. As the game switched to a regular phasic pattern it shifted, but I enjoyed the game! Glad to see that my target finally worked - honestly up 'til the end I wasn't certain if Jonnas was town or just some mega neutral. If the votes weren't so clearly going on the right target when we got eddie/rez/rummy, I would've been talked into going for jonnas. Glad to see my hubby win in the end :P
