Didn't try to protect her, tried to enhance her - I was confused with my mafia games. I did not get a PM saying that I was roleblocked last night... so yeah I still think it was flink that killed! I deleted a post earlier -- essentially I re-read the thread and noticed a few things; - heroijan's logic; flink claimed he was protecting diageo yet the nights he didn't diageo got tortured then killed. He also didn't protect yvonne when she was killed, and he is trying to pretend he thought there was another protector. - Flink surely would've been targetted a lot earlier by mafia if he was a protector. - Flink is the only person who has not consistently voted maff - he's voted off neutrals, but his vote on arbitor was last-minute and most likely a face-saving move. Yeah. Vote flink, not me. If you think there are two maff then go for me the next day but essentially it seems that I was not role-blocked, and flink both protected himself and killed.

It's stupid. 168 years it's been running. As commented on the article itself - they'll just 'rebrand' it. 200 jobs gone? Biggest selling paper? Not going to disappear without consequences.

Tales; mr-paul may not directly be blocked physically, but the write-up specifically says that the powers of two people did not work, which surely has mr-paul included. However, if such a discrepancy is correct, and we are inferring too much on the write-up, then where else shall we look? I would certainly like to know more of the symbiotic nature of heroijan/mr-paul. What are the items you receive, mr-paul? - Heroijan says that he was protected last night. Who protected him? - peep's info suggests that anyone in the mafia can forgo their normal ability and kill that night instead. - MURRAY says he was taken away by a man in dark clothes - Yet only two people failed their target last night, and surely you would be one as you targetted ese... Hmmm my suspicions are shifting all over the place. What if the two people who 'failed to reach their target' do not include any who targetted flink? One of those people may've been ese, who was killed, the other may've been murray, who was targetting ese. However, murray claims he was taken away by a man in dark clothes - it wasn't me, tales, mr-paul, flink, peeps, tales, heroijan. Who blocked murray, if anyone? Who protected heroijan, if flink is our only protector and he protected himself? I'm gonna go read the thread again and be more confused.

Tales- i didn't even see your reply 'til I submitted my post. I was reading the previous page in an open tab, and I thought my post was going to automerge. The logic I am using is fairly straight forward. But if you like, I will say it again. The lead we have is as follows; Man in dark clothes if flink. Three people claim to have targetted him - me, you, mr-paul. That is the logic behind me 'dragging' you two into this. The two people who were blocked by flink were clearly not mafia, so it is likely that the third person who is claiming to have targetted flink as well, is lying. The liar is, therefore, quite likely to be the killer. I found mr-paul to me an MI6 agent, so I have some trust in him. He also has (perhaps conveniently) heroic janitor to back him up. Heroic janitor led the lynch of arbitor, so he is certainly good. However, there is still a possibility that mr-paul is evil, and that he has multiple roles, as we have no corroboration to back up all of his targets as the information he sent seems to have gone to many graves with the people he sent them to. He may be able to send info, he may appear good, he may be buying heroijan's trust by giving him info. I know I am good, so, of course, my logic dictates that you are likely mafioso. I also believe that EEVILMURRAY is good. Both he and mr-paul are able to back up two of my targets, so they should be able to see that I am also good as they are. EEVILMURRAY, especially, should (if I was mafia, then why would I ever boost anyone except for the mafia killer? Logically speaking, the answer to this alone shoud add kudos to my claims). Again, tales, you should stop throwing madness towards me and look at the facts. Three people claim to target flink. Only two were blocked. I have more faith in mr-paul's goodness than I do in yours, and if only two were blocked then one person is lying, so I have less faith in that person. For me it's a binary choice. Others have to choose between the three of us -- or may have something else to bring to the table. I have voted for the deaths of mafia. have you?

If it's out of me, mr-paul and tales then I'm me (so I know I'm innocent!), mr-paul has heroijan's backing (and my torture on him proved he was/is MI6, and tales has a gun that shoots poeple and is consistently shady, and if only two people didn't reach their targets then it's me and mr-paul, which means either tales or flink are lying, and it makes more sense if it's tales. C'mon fellas!

Remove vote. Essentially I found nothing out of the ordinary -- stopping to think about it, it's really saying 'mcoy has no night role so you won't find anything interesting' :P

Mr. Paul divulged that he works for MI6 - the only night i tried to attain info. Flink you should've been boosted... unless someone can say why you weren't then that's not my problem. Even if tales i neutral its' worth getting rid of him, which is why my current vote stays unless someone comes up with something better.

If I had to pick one person to spend the rest of my life with, it'd be my girlfriend. My friends are cool, but I don't think I could spend extended periods of time with them. My girl knows me, whereas my friends tend to see a social side of me, and probably only show me a social side of themselves. It depends on what you consider 'fulfilling' or indeed 'better' in general. It's important to have a range of friends that you can natter with, but for me my girlfriend is my base, my home square that helps put all other relationships into perspective. I very much feel that if you're lucky enough to have a strong relationship, you have more than the majority of friendships can offer. Of course, there are pros and cons everywhere, so it's nonsensical to concentrate on one and not the other (specifically, I suppose, when you actually have the choice). I want to say stuff here about love being more than what you imagine, that cultural references to love tap in to a pre-existing form of love rather than love being merely defined by what our media says it is. Love may be something out of reach for some, but it is still something that can be - perhaps falsely - imagined, and as such any genre may represent an ideal of love which strikes a chord. The matter to which whether love is perhaps misinterpreted or misrepresented is deeper than the surface issue stated in the OP -- the binary choice of friend or doe (lol). My personal belief is that my love is all that friendship can offer and then some, but of course with love comes risk, responsiblity and pure chance in finding it in the first place - so yes. If you must hunt, then hunt for companionship in its easiest form - friends. Compassion follows.
