What I mean is, they have effectively "wasted" their time making this which seems to have turned out "meh" according to reviews when they could have been making the game that everyone wanted them to make in the first place, a sequel to Eternal Darkness...

After really enjoying the vocals recently in Rock Band I've been half considering Singstar but tbh Lips for the 360 looks like it's gonna be so much better.

How did they go from the sublime Eternal Darkness to something so terrible (from review scores at least) in comparison? And aren't they planning another two of these games? dear fucking god I hope they just give up now and focus on what they always should have... A sequel to Eternal Darkness.

Yeah, I know everyone complains about the spamming but lol the thing is everyone with the 360 version is going to do it at least up to lvl 20 for me the solution is simple, they spam... I spam right back, I usually own them most of the time with Xianghua too.

Chronotrigger - loving every minute of it. Ecco : Defender of the Future - playing this properly for this first time, awesome game, it's like the whole 2D format except in 3D and it works brilliantly. Rock Band - always fun to have a blast on the world tour mode. -
Except for the Wii, placing consoles horizontally = win, the 360 is too unreliable to be vertical, the PS3 just... looks... odd... vertically (Imo) and truly the only console out of the three I trust that won't be at any risk of falling over when placed vertically is the Wii, it's just not worth the risk with the other two and when it comes down to it, I reckon as a general rule most consoles will work for longer horizontally, I know M$ and Sony say their consoles can be stood vertically, just don't be too surprised if they fail before the horizontally placed ones. That said you may be really lucky, have it not fail, not get knocked over and not overheat but you've just got to be aware of these factors if you want your consoles to last.

^^^ is this yet another PSP redesign? O.o if so I wish they would make one with a better UMD drive, a slot loading one would own, even if I still wouldn't really play it much. :/

In that respect only (the non retiring bit) sheesh I never though I'd ever hear those two people mentioned in the same sentence... ever... Hmm back on topic, it's impossible for him to not talk about his hobbies like ever... anyway even if rivals did get ideas from that, they can't execute them in the same way that Nintendo does anyway so meh. The way Miyamoto comes up with new game concepts though is nothing short of genius in it's most purest and simple form, it's pretty admirable really.

The only reason I haven't bought Braid, is because I already have loads of games to play and buying another right at this moment would just be nonsensical.

NO U! sorry I just had the urge to say that at least once :p Wii Music is far from garbage though, yes we have music games currently available, is it the same as these though? no... and credit to it for being different, now I love Rock Band as much as the next person but theres something just simple and brilliant about Wii Music that still makes it interesting to me. I'm not saying that it will change the world but if the world would change it's views and welcome the possibility that it might be "fun" instead of condemning it before it's arrival then the world might be a minutely less negative place that it is outside the realms of gaming. But I digress, it's just interests me is all, each to their own and all that neutral malarky.

Nice ltd edition, I hope this turns out to be a pleasant surprise, the 360 needs a decent RPG thats different from whats currently available.

Meh... it all kind of pales into insignificance when you realise that for all their graphical trickery and gimmicks while a lot of recent RPG's on the 360 may be "good" they still don't match the classics Imo. *goes back to playing Chrono Trigger*
