And I get that, it was thought about and I reached the conclusion of 'meh' it's not an attack on you Flamey as you stated, it's not your question, just some nonsense that someone made up for lols. But the thing about 'everyone can be defined by these two things' is rubbish... well ok not rubbish because theoretically everyone 'can' but not everyone wants to... However if I was to humour the question with a response then I'd just say something like... 'A horse because well... y'know what they say about horses... hur hur' Except I wouldn't say that as that's just an OTT example of what could be said, which is basically what you were looking for ne? If I thought about it I'm sure I could come up with something better for lols but I'm just not that fussed, but yeah I get that it's a harmless piece of fun so w/e live and let live.

Exactly... if there was some reasoning behind it then it'd be more applicable but as it is, meh.

I get that it's a metaphor, I just don't care for it is all.

I'm only happy when it rains And when my soul receives stains Like some child possessed, the beast runs through my veins
-
I'm neither, because this is just silliness that makes no real sense and is only justified by people who are willing to believe in it... a bit like religion.

Me too, I need to start paying more attention.

So it turns out I won't be cooking anymore at work in a month or two... This is because the bus times have been fucked about with meaning I have no option but to leave 15 mins early - either that or wait two hours and well, fuuuuuuck that! - but I've now been told that 'the Staff Restaurant has to be open between time 'X' and close at time 'X' so as a result we're gonna have to move you elsewhere mmkay?' that's basically the long and short of it. Of course there is always the option of getting a bike... which would mean I could make it there in time and leave at the right time plus I'd save money in the long run, just the 'dangerous roads' issue but meh, surely I'd get used to it? Anyone else cycle on here? tips/advice appreciated Daft you cycle quite a bit don't you? - presumably on busy roads - is it that bad? just curious as it's an option I'm considering. With that said though maybe a change of scenery would be good, plus I do feel a little bit taken for granted working as a cook atm... but I get regular 'thanks' which balances it out a bit but still... *sigh* I think maybe I would miss working in that area of the store after a while. Ah what to do...

Fuck that... they can - and will - release the original again on XBLA but this is a 'Brand New Installment' to the excellent and underrated series, how can you say 'no' to that?

Since when - apart from Mickey's Racing USA on the N64 - have Mickey games been about multiplayer? aside from the co-op mode in World of Illusion they have mainly been a solo affair afaik... and just as well because the single player Mickey games on the Megadrive were awesome for their time.

Recently picked up Garbage (self titled) after really enjoying hearing Only Happy When It Rains a few weeks ago and having fond memories of Stupid Girl back in the day, I really love the whole album, very enjoyable indeed and perfect music for a Monday.

I'm just looking forward to playing them, because it's only a matter of a month or two before they are actually released.

Most people did but some people still saw something in the series.

YYG... is that the car boot sale at Rosudgeon that you go to? If so then well done I've had a few finds there but nothing like what you've managed to acquire. When you say 'early' just how much in advance do you usually go? for instance, Rosudgeon sellers get there at 10:30am so I'm guessing 10am? Just curious anyway, I used to go to car boots quite a lot but now not so much, more trying to get rid of stuff than buy more lol but it's cool if you have the space I guess.

What am I supposed to do, when the best part of me was always you? Don't worry, you can come back to me. Like a baby that crawls into the pouch of mommy kangaroo! Apologies for my lack of posting 'cos it's true, I've been avoiding this thread like the Flu

Also very true, the term 'high-quality' iPod speakers is a bit of an oxymoron because there is a limit to how good they can sound on any system, but you're certainly much better off with a proper system for all types of audio which will still provide better quality for listening to an iPod than any of these bespoke 'iUnits' plus you can use it for everything else. As for headphones, it's definitely worth getting a reasonably good pair if the price is right, often headphones that come bundled with MP3 players/iPods aren't that good at all.

So in conclusion, the PSP Go is still a rip-off then?

I can think of loads of albums that could go on that list and I can see a few on there allready that I look and think 'they put that on there?' it's an interesting list and better than the last one that was posted in this thread by miles, but still it is just a list and it's not as if everyones gonna agree with it so ultimately, what's the point? People like whatever music they are into and no amount of lists will change this, sure as a result some of the bands on there may be looked into but really... no one is gonna 100% agree with the entire list. -------------------------------------------- For what little it's worth, these are my personal highlights... 156. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm 134. Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf 124. PJ Harvey - Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea 107. Justice - Cross 92. Bjork - Vespertine 83. Joanna Newsom - Ys 74. The White Stripes - Elephant 71. Portishead - Third 47. Joanna Newsom - The Milk-Eyed Mender 34. Radiohead - Amnesiac 28. Kanye West - The College Dropout 21. Radiohead - In Rainbows 20. Interpol - Turn On the Bright Lights 18. Kanye West - Late Registration 12. The White Stripes - White Blood Cells 06. Modest Mouse - The Moon & Antartica 03. Daft Punk - Discovery 01. Radiohead - Kid A Though I would have put Kayne West lower and not necessarilly the same albums, Joanna Newsom's YS higher plus Peej & Beej much higher... but that's just me, so disregard this post if you don't agree with it.
