Cat Face 7 Not the latest one I know but I only watch them when I feel like it, still just thought I'd post this one seeing as I found it amusing.

Sega Rally = average but fun racer that doesn't quite capture the awesomeness of the original but does offer a different style of racing. Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection = One of the most comprehensive Sega collections to date full of a good deal of classic games and represents excellent value for money. Devil May Cry 4 = A decent entry for the series, somewhere inbetween the 1st and 2nd in terms of quality but is nowhere near as good as the third. Street Fighter IV = Superb fighter let down by a cheap and repetitive final boss character that refuses to die! None of them really fall into the category of 'shit' tbh, however... Bioshock 2 = A damn excellent followup to one of the most original and atmospheric FPS/Exploration games seen in years. So it was still a good deal overall.

Happy Birthday Goron_3! ^^

How the hell is this control scheme even working on a controller that has less buttons than a SNES pad? It looks nice but I'm still concerned on how all the upgrades etc are gonna work.
-
Agreed, they could have done much better... ------------------------------------------- Off-topic but... why the name change nando? /curious.
-
Nah, you're just not hardcore enough but seriously... I've found about 4+ special stages before even getting to the Flying Battery Zone and I've had them all before Sandopolis Zone... all you've gotta do is take the time to find them all, then you can be Super Sonic/Knuckles for the rest of the game.

Bastards! not content with simplifying Dr Robotnik to 'Dr Eggman' since the Dreamcast, they are now rewriting the classic games too...
-
Some of those pieces of artwork are stunning. ------------------------------------------- I'm not dissapointed by the way the game looks in the alpha build, if anything I'm impressed, at least the special stage is now confirmed my only gripe - along with seemingly everyone else - is the running animation, it's not bad and I could live with it but I mean... they could/should just make it like it was? Can't be that hard surely... Four Zones per episode doesn't seem bad but they will need to make it at least three episodes long to make it substantial... also when the other episodes come out and if you download them all will there be a way to play them in their entirity without having to change game? That's basically what I want to know... plus I wonder how you'll be able to access the special stage, if it'll be starposts or... giant rings maybe? Whatever emeralds you collect will need to be carried over obv so I'm guessing that the first episode is the 'Game' and the subsequent episodes will update the first with the new levels maybe? But what if people - foolishly - decide to just download say part 2? These questions still need answering...

So today I finally gave The Milk-Eyed Mender by Joanna Newsom a listen... I figured I owe it that much to hear it out before Have One On Me comes out :p anyway thoughts... If Ys is the undisputed lyrical and and all-round audible masterpiece - which it is - then The Milk-Eyed Mender is a piece of patchwork - just like its cover - now it's a really stunning piece of patchwork overall but some of the pieces it's made up of just don't quite fit yet they are there as part of it anyway. As a debut album though it's pretty decent on the whole though her voice is slightly grating on some tracks even though there are still some beautiful lyrics in there; it's interesting to see how her vocal talent has come on in leaps and bounds since then though as her voice in Ys is simply stunning. Here's hoping that her third album achieves equilibrium by taking the strengths of the previous two as the foundations and builidng upon it to reach new wuthering heights.

If it were 'inspired' then it'd make sense but I digress... Bayonetta is fantastic, I know what you mean about the 'rental' thing though, I've beaten it once and won't go back for a while and so like a lot of games I own, have completed and want to go back to at some point they are just sitting around which makes me thing 'hmm I could have rented that...' but then again at least owning them means they are there for when I want to play them and am not at the mercy of finding a rental copy/worrying if it will work or not - despite many rental places taking better care of their discs they do still get scratched badly sometimes - but yes, 'To rent or not to rent' always seems to be the immortal question these days especially as there are so many - read: too many - games available.

Happy Birthday Razz! ^^

A shame... but... I mean... it was 400 points so I got it anyway figuring I'll at least get some enjoyment out of it - when I get the chance to play it anyway - so yeah, it's not too bad really.

Compatible with Wii speak? lol imagine the trash talk... Player 1 - 'lolol I really bricked you up good there!' Player 2 - 'block off!' :p

That game's supposed to be harder than a hero in a half-shell... Turtle Power! Sorry I regressed there for a moment... I really should pick that up now that it's half price.

Happy Birthday Rez! ^^

Fixed...

It would be nice though... recently arcade releases have been a bit 'meh' so this could be just what the service needs... though having said that maybe that means they will save it for a Wednesday afterall, hopefully next Wednesday.
-
In some rare cases yes, hopefully this will be one of those 'Rare' instances where it does happen.
-
I'm hoping they'll say... 'It's out... today... like right now! Go and download it!' Would be nice.

Happy Birthday Ashley! ^^ Yes even I felt the need to type your name in Red, it just... feels so wrong otherwise. Anyway, have a great day.

It's good to see that Sega are finally doing the 'right' thing i.e basically what fans have wanted since Sonic and Knuckles if we're completely honest and that's a true sequel to the third game(s). The only mistakes they have made so far is insisting to call Robotnik 'Eggman' - something that I will NEVER accept as a true Sonic fan, plus the running animation which could do with being tweaked to match the earlier games. My only other 'want' at the moment is Special Stages, they really need to make a triumphant return along with being able to become Super-Sonic in the regular levels once more. Ah well I can still dream I guess... at least they are finally on the right track now though and indeed the correct dimensional plain.

^ I found myself singing along to that, couldn't help it, a fantastic song, I really need to get myself some Fleetwood Mac... one of those bands that I've heard a lot from in various places but never truly took the time to appreciate. Also I was relieved to learn that this is the actual artwork for Joanna Newsom's new album... It's no Ys but it's still lovely even with the black 'borders' which prevent it from being something truly stunning, loving the 'Clockwork Orange' style text.

About time really, aren't there only a handful of Xbox Originals that could still be played online anyway? The whole backwards compatibility thing is fudged, even the games that do run fine, you can't use the guide button while playing them... I never understood why they can't emulate them differently or patch so that you can still use the guide button while playing Xbox games... it might be a technical impossibility but if it's not it'd be nice if it was patched.
