I bet they've got RARE working on all of these, too.

My luck has been absolute shit today. Trying to watch the game against Swansea and my feed cut out before ALL FOUR OF THE GOALS. I missed every single one. On top of that, just found out that I probably won't be able to go to a very old friend's wedding due to it being in term time. Don't think I've ever felt this way over a 4-0 victory before! Edit: Full time, 4-0. Another really good performance. I really like how we're actually killing games off instead of trying to defend a 1-0 for the whole of the second half. In previous seasons, we'd have drawn this game 1-1. The intensity was really good.

Wouldn't be fantastic if both clubs just told Barcelona to fuck off? I really want to see what happens this season if they don't manage to find a suitable replacement.
-
Not sure who Liverpool are going to replace him with. But...that's a lot of money for Coutinho. I think the player is fantastic, but this will make him the second most expensive player of all time. As good as Coutinho is, is he really in the same calibre of player as Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc? Personally, I don't think so. Liverpool are brave to be rejecting that kind of offer. I still don't know who they'd get to replace him with. That money would quickly disappear, especially as transfer fees this year seem to be insane. They might only be able to get two players for that money, as much as it is. So, they might sell the player, get loads of money for him and be in a worse position than they're in right now. From that point of view, I can get why they'd say no. We certainly didn't replace Ronaldo with a quality player or group of players of the same calibre, at least not no one of real quality until years later.

Fuuuuuck, Liverpool have rejected a third bid from Barcelona, believed to be in the area of £114million. What is going on?!

I'm switching my weight and rep ranges to low weight but moderate-higher reps. So, 8-12 reps. It's been a while since I've done that, but I fancied a change and decided to just switch over today. Doing bicep curls with low weight but really, reaaaally squeezing the muscle and slowing down the reps almost killed me. I thought my arms were going to explode. Very satisfying. My triceps got put through it, too.

I think we all could, Bob. I think we all could.

It was complex fish AI system that got me. We've waited a long time for this. What a time to be alive.

So, reviews of this are starting to come out and it's about what we expect. Seems to be more than solid. Metacritic has an average of around 8.5 for it. Quite tempted, but I feel guilty about all of these other games that I currently have and am not playing. So, I think I'll wait a little.

Just browsing through Facebook, there are usually posts from all sorts of people, or recommended articles and so on. Right now, I'm reading an article from The Independent and there's already a link on the right hand side leading to photos from the latest episode. Forums are actually very good with spoiler tags and stuff because everything is generally self contained within posts. Going onto an entertainment website, such as IGN, not so much. You have recommended articles everywhere.

I want to watch the episode, but we have a sort of "ritual" where Monday is pizza + Game of Thrones night. I like that, as it's a nice start to the week. Plus, I feel bad pirating it. We pay for NowTV and a big reason for that is for Game of Thrones. Just hope that we make it to Monday without spoilers. Wish Facebook just implemented spoiler tags already.

New episode has already leaked and I'm dreading using Facebook or browsing the web and coming across a spoiler or some sort of hint as to what happens in the episode.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier (PS4/PC/Xbox One)

So jealous that you get to experience this for the first time. I had such a great time playing through it and was sad to finish the season. Amazing game. Enjoy! -
Apparently Man City are interested in signing Jonny Evans. He's versatile and I loved him when he was at United, so I can see why there would be interest. Surprised by it, though. City have bought loads of defenders already and you'd have thought that Pep would be happy with that by now.

Give the Walking Dead games a try. Definitely worth playing and I rate them highly. I've just finished Season 3 and loved it. Do eeet. -

What the fuck? Where did this come from?! Huge fan of the series, old and new. Good opening trailer. I just pray that it's any good! -
I wish that the game was more welcoming because I love the look of it. But, the more I played, the more irritated by it that I became. Just certain design choices that are unnecessary and tedious.

I'll try my best not to shit on Elite: Dangerous. But, the truth is, I really dislike it. I don't usually regret spending money on games, but Elite is the first game in a very long time where I regret my purchase. I just didn't find it very fun. I found it too convoluted, too steep in difficult at the start and not very rewarding. One of my friends commented that you need to put loads of hours into it to get something out of the play. It is not a casual experience. But, you're hearing this opinion from someone who dislikes the game immensely. You might really enjoy that experience. I'd recommend watching a few videos of others playing the game to see what it's like. I plan to go back to it one day to give it another crack, because I hate giving up on shit. But, my time is really limited this summer and I'd rather it went on more worthwhile games.

I'm sat in the garden doing my school work and @Eenuh is doing her drawing work stuff. It's a day with actual sunshine. Nice sunshine. Not too many clouds. British summer time is really lovely when it happens!

What's your situation, if you don't mind me asking? Are you in France, or have I got that wrong? I did supply teaching at Ystrad Mynach Primary School. The one about two streets over from the train station. Seemed like a nice school from what I can remember, but this was over 8 years ago now. I've never been to Neath, but I know of it. Since moving out of Wales, I've never had the urge to move back. I prefer living in England. Really like the South! Had you ever been to Taiwan before moving over permanently? I know very little about the country.

Ystraaaaad Mynaaaaach. I used to do a lot of supply teaching there. Where did you grow up and where are you living now? I used to live in Newport and spent tons of time in Cardiff before venturing further south.

I'm just looking at the dates now. British window opens on 9th June. France also opens on that date. Germany and Italy open on 1st July. British, French, Spanish, German and Italian all close on the same day as the British window - 31st August. Closing the British window on 10th August (first day of this new Premier League season) is going to give European clubs...three additional weeks to sign players. That's a HUGE disadvantage to the Premier League. I like how all the deadline is the same for the European clubs. That needs to stay the same. Maybe a solution is to start all leagues at the same time and end them at the same time.
-
So, Barcelona could sign Coutinho, Real Madrid could sign De Gea and somebody like Bayern Munich could sign Alexis Sanchez, yet these clubs wouldn't be able to sign replacement players. Sounds wonderful. I'm not for it. The only real, proper solution is that we have one, single European transfer window that opens at the same time and closes at the same time. I can understand the sense in that the window should really close before the first game is played, but this is definitely going to put the Premier League at a disadvantage to other European leagues.

Not enough handles to be considered an N64 controller. It's the most distinctive thing about that pad. It's part of what makes it unique and charming. The GREY colouring looks nice, however.
