I'd be tempted to rest it and let it recover for at least a week before doing anything other weight work. Your body will need time and energy to heal.

That's really useful, thanks. I clicked a few links and found a course with 5000+ common Dutch words. I browsed through it and that's the sort of thing that I was looking for. Think I'll proceed with both Duolingo and Memrise, and then will see how I go on from there.

I love the look of the silver, but it really should have been a Pro, as it has been mentioned already. Laaaame. What a shame.
-
Wooooooooow. Was not expecting this. Amazing news!

You probably did post about it already, but nobody ever reads older pages. It's the ruuuuules. It sounds interesting. I'm going to look into it a bit more tomorrow, but I'm tempted to give the paid version a go. I'm still in the early stages, so all of the Dutch stuff is mega basic. How advanced does it get? Vocab wise, is it on par or better than Duolingo?
-
Do you use the free version or do you pay for it? I'm only on the early stages so far, but what would you say memrise does better than duolingo? Did you make progress from it?
-
Well done. Man, there's no way that I could have lasted that long without a shower. It would have killed me. First real thing we did in our place was to change the bathroom.

Was it anything interesting in the end?

It is a shame that the meet didn't quite work out this year. I'm gutted to have not been there, but have a lot to do to get ready for the new school year. One of the things that I enjoyed about each meet was that you'd meet someone new or see a new face that wasn't there before. It would be great to get more people to come in future, but that's easier said than done. There's a fair bit of activity in the Nintendo boards, so I guess we need to find ways to not only draw new people to this place, but to encourage those that are here to venture out and look at posting in the general chit chat board, too. It didn't work out this year, but we can learn from it and make it work next time around. I'll definitely be coming to the next one to make up for not coming to this one.

Not sure I've heard of that. I'll check out a youtube vid a bit later. The only Jurassic Park game I remember was on the Master System and I remember thinking it was awful! I hope it's more like that (a building sim) because that's the bit that interests me. I'm a sucker for those types of games. The premise of this is interesting and who wouldn't want to build their own dinosaur theme park?! Just hope that there's enough depth and variety there to keep the whole idea interesting.

I've just downloaded the memrise app and was wondering if anybody else uses memrise here? I think you use it, don't you @Ashley?
-
What even is this?! Could be great, but could also be quite limited. It seems like it could get quite repetitive? 1. Build park. 2. Dinosaurs try to break free. 3. Try to stop them. Repeat.

I bet they've got RARE working on all of these, too.

My luck has been absolute shit today. Trying to watch the game against Swansea and my feed cut out before ALL FOUR OF THE GOALS. I missed every single one. On top of that, just found out that I probably won't be able to go to a very old friend's wedding due to it being in term time. Don't think I've ever felt this way over a 4-0 victory before! Edit: Full time, 4-0. Another really good performance. I really like how we're actually killing games off instead of trying to defend a 1-0 for the whole of the second half. In previous seasons, we'd have drawn this game 1-1. The intensity was really good.

Wouldn't be fantastic if both clubs just told Barcelona to fuck off? I really want to see what happens this season if they don't manage to find a suitable replacement.
-
Not sure who Liverpool are going to replace him with. But...that's a lot of money for Coutinho. I think the player is fantastic, but this will make him the second most expensive player of all time. As good as Coutinho is, is he really in the same calibre of player as Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc? Personally, I don't think so. Liverpool are brave to be rejecting that kind of offer. I still don't know who they'd get to replace him with. That money would quickly disappear, especially as transfer fees this year seem to be insane. They might only be able to get two players for that money, as much as it is. So, they might sell the player, get loads of money for him and be in a worse position than they're in right now. From that point of view, I can get why they'd say no. We certainly didn't replace Ronaldo with a quality player or group of players of the same calibre, at least not no one of real quality until years later.

Fuuuuuck, Liverpool have rejected a third bid from Barcelona, believed to be in the area of £114million. What is going on?!

I'm switching my weight and rep ranges to low weight but moderate-higher reps. So, 8-12 reps. It's been a while since I've done that, but I fancied a change and decided to just switch over today. Doing bicep curls with low weight but really, reaaaally squeezing the muscle and slowing down the reps almost killed me. I thought my arms were going to explode. Very satisfying. My triceps got put through it, too.

I think we all could, Bob. I think we all could.

It was complex fish AI system that got me. We've waited a long time for this. What a time to be alive.

So, reviews of this are starting to come out and it's about what we expect. Seems to be more than solid. Metacritic has an average of around 8.5 for it. Quite tempted, but I feel guilty about all of these other games that I currently have and am not playing. So, I think I'll wait a little.

Just browsing through Facebook, there are usually posts from all sorts of people, or recommended articles and so on. Right now, I'm reading an article from The Independent and there's already a link on the right hand side leading to photos from the latest episode. Forums are actually very good with spoiler tags and stuff because everything is generally self contained within posts. Going onto an entertainment website, such as IGN, not so much. You have recommended articles everywhere.
