  1. Metroid: Other M was spectacular. I loved it. It breaks my heart to see that some hated it. It's closer to Fusion than it is to Super and once you that in mind you can really enjoy it. Beautiful soundtrack in places. Hyrule Warriors is...yeah. Seen the other half play it and nope.
  2. Tbh, La Liga is rife with stuff like that. It's quite dirty in a lot of ways. I want Juventus to win the Champions League. I love the football that they play, I think they've got a fucking awesome midfield and...I have a huge man crush on Arturo Vidal. Pissed off that he didn't come to United in the summer. Would sell all of my hands for Arturo.
  3. Eh, I think the predominant attitude is that Nintendo fans are pissed off at a decision Nintendo have made and are voicing that on a...Nintendo gaming forum. I think it's a bit naive to think that Nintendo will actually take serious note of what they say on their facebook page and patch it in or something. The problem lies with Nintendo and their attitude and can only be changed from within the company itself.
  4. I don't think you do anything. At least, that's not how I think it's meant to work. Brb, reading sextbooks.
  5. But...I...
  6. I really, really enjoyed The Order. It's a hard one to judge price wise because I didn't have any pressure on me at all in that regard as I borrowed it from a friend. In a way, it's the best way to play it because you can actually just enjoy it for what it was rather than go for the whole "it's worth £20" kinda angle. I thought the story was great, the graphics are possibly the best I've ever seen and the sound quality was top notch. Brilliant in terms of production values. I enjoyed the structure of the game and the gameplay itself, I found it really fun. Knowing what I know now, I think under 20 is a good price for it. However, it's tricky to judge because I can see the price continuing to plummet and I could potentially see it as a plus game. The reviews basically killed the game, which is pretty damn unfair in my opinion. Maybe they should just have tacked on a multiplayer to keep the reviewers happy, I dunno...it would have been the wrong thing to do as it doesn't suit this style of game at all.
  7. I'm watching the Barcelona game against PSG and this Barcelona team look particularly great. That front three of Messi, Suarez and Neymar is basically unfair to every other team out there. Bayern Munich are destroying Porto 5-0...it's just turned half time.
  8. u wot m8? The save system is perfect for its purpose in the Metroid games, both 2D and 3D. I'd love to see you try something like Alien Isolation with that style of save system.
  9. Pre-ordered these for £70. and I am excite.
  10. I'm sorry for your loss, @Mr\-Paul.
  11. Oooh, I haven't tried share play yet. Game sounds fantastic, might be worth picking up at some point then. Thanks for that! Unfortunately I'm back at work this week and it's mega busy, so I possibly won't be gaming much til the weekend. I wish I was a hobo.
  12. Hold me, brahs. She'll be getting ideas soon! :p
  13. Pretty sure I went with Tesco when buying FIFA and Destiny. Had no issues whatsoever.
  14. Cheers, @Shorty. Just pre-ordered The Witcher 3 and Batman.
  15. From the sounds of what you tell me, business is actually alright, but your boss isn't very organised at all. He's VERY relaxed or seems that way, which I guess has its benefits. It also sounds like certain companies just take the piss a bit with paying up, which isn't really fair. So, I wouldn't quite hit the panic button yet.
  16. What did you think of it? I keep seeing bits of it and think it looks interesting, but I keep hearing polar views about it all. Some really, really love it and some hate it. I think we've got fairly similar tastes, so I trust your opinion.
  17. I've been playing bass since I was around 15 and learned how to play guitar a few years after that. Imo, I don't think it's necessarily "learn a real instrument" instead of playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band because they don't really do the same things. Guitar Hero is a game. For me, the fun was being able to get a group of friends over and see who could get the highest score or who could last the longest on a really hard song without getting booed off. Even though I was decent at bass and guitar, it wasn't a case of "shit, this game is too easy" or anything. It's fun, a great party game. It's not really educational, imo. Sure, you can probably pick up some basic coordination from guitar hero and can then apply that to bass or guitar later, or even be at an advantage if you can already play, but it's main purpose is to just be a damn fun thing to play and for me it always was. Playing a real instrument is awesome and it's one of the most rewarding things you can do. But there's something also rewarding about struggling with a song and then getting to the end of it or beating your friend's score. There's also a visual element because you're essentially reacting to things that happen on screen, especially with the battles, so...there's room for both.
  18. Hah, shiiit. I imagine the game is massive then. Can't wait.
  19. It wouldn't necessarily mean that people wouldn't take their 3DS systems out. It would just mean that those who own the 3DS but don't take it with them everywhere would still be able to access the streetpass stuff. Those who still take their 3DS out and about normally would possibly still do so, to play their games outdoors or on transport, etc. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a stigma, but it's an inconvenience. I'm not sure what the deal was with zipped pockets earlier but...as far as I know, most people (men certainly) don't even have zipped pockets, at least not on jeans. Unless you're wearing a coat or something which I guess makes sense with our shitty British weather. To some people, portability might mean something completely different. When I think of portability, I think about being able to play my DS in my room, in the living room or in my family's house, for example. It would still be an indoor thing, but to me that's portability; you're able to move around with it. Some may own a 3DS system but never even take it out with them because...that's just not what they do.
  20. For a point of reference, @Dog\-amoto drives trains, am I right? So, he'll come into contact with a LOT of people. Or at least within range of a lot of people, even if he doesn't seem them face to face.
  21. Was that including side quests and all the extra stuff or was that just from start to finish with the story?
  22. Wow, those screens look gorgeous. I'll be playing this at some point if only out of respect for what they did with The Walking Dead. Season 1 in particular is god tier, some of the best stuff I've ever seen/played.
  23. Personally, I much prefer this to Resi 4. I'd say that you're about halfway through, there's still a fair bit to go. You started The Last of Us yet? Have you played it before?
