  1. In fairness, it's £10.79 for both the PS4 and Vita version.
  2. Is this one of the "it's fine in co-op" posts? :p Meh, I just want the old Resident Evil back.
  3. I bet we'd get more life out of it if you could turn the light off. Not sure how much difference it would make, though.
  4. I can't really call the Chronicles games lazy because they were fully fledged games, just in a different genre that happens to use the functions of the WiiMote really well; lightgun games/on rail shooters. Dead Space Extraction was better than both of those games though and again it played to the strengths of the system. The blame is at Nintendo's door because it's a culmination of things happening from the N64 years onwards. The rise of the rival systems has made it harder for them, too. But, you make the best with what's there and I don't think it's right to call some of these games "gimped abortions" because they weren't. SOME games were, like the Dead Rising game that came to Wii, which was awful. But, the likes of Dead Space, Zack and Wiki, TatVsCap, Silent Hill (not all of these are Capcom, but the point stands) were great games.
  5. Using BabyPark would be a quick-fix approach and it would make the Battle Mode usable. But, really, the mode needs it's own set of stages.
  6. The Resident Evil series needs a revamp, tbh. I know loads of people loved 4, but I didn't and that's partly because I knew they would be ditching its survival horror roots and going elsewhere. That definitely has happened. Although...you could argue that's paved the way for games such as DeadSpace.
  7. I initially (before owning a playstation system) didn't like the placement of the analogues. But, there's a reason why they've stuck with it for so long and I think it's a balance/symmetrical reason. I think you're able to hold the controller better for longer periods with the analogues in a symmetrical position, at least that's what I found. The WiiU's Pro Controller does something interesting with it's analogue placement, but there's also a reason why the competition have never placed them in the same spot and that's because it's harder to use the face buttons. (feels very unnatural to me moving your right thumb from the stick down to the buttons) Going back to the GameCube controller, I do think it's overrated and it's probably down to nostalgia over why it's rated so high. There's a real imbalance with it, especially with the lack of a Z button on either side, the C-stick build quality is pretty poor and the d-pad is unusable. The only reason I loved it so much is because the analogue shoulder buttons are SO FUCKING GOOOD. Dat digital click.
  8. Why does it matter which is bigger? If you gave me a toss up between TatVsCap and Resident Evil 5 or 6, I'd take the former every single time. We didn't miss much by not getting the Resi games as they were crap. The hardware wasn't much different to a GameCube whilst the competition were pushing HD, so we're lucky to get games like Zack and Wiki, TatVsCap, etc. You're being unrealistic if you're expecting us to get SF or MvC because...they just won't come. The audience isn't really there. What does piss me off, and I agree with you here, is when it doesn't get games for WiiU when the PS3 or 360 gets them. But, that's probably down to audience, too.
  9. I've never owned a PS3 or 360 or a One but I've had several goes on each one due to friend's owning them. I like the PS3 pad the least. It's comfortable to hold for long durations, it feels a bit crammed and I don't like the overall feel of it. 360 pad was good and I enjoyed using that more than the PS3 pad when playing FIFA. One pad actually feels like a step-down somehow from the 360 controller. I don't know why, I don't know how, but it feels a bit cheaper than the 360 pad. Not a huge difference, but I don't like it as much as the 360 pad. I adore the PS4 controller. It's easier to hold than the PS3 pad, the touchpad is great, share button is awesome, the whole thing feels slightly bigger/easier to use for longer durations. It's probably my favourite ever pad the more I think about it.
  10. Fuck you, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was BRILLIANT. Did you play it?
  11. There was Street Fighter IV for 3DS.
  12. I know nothing about Battlefront. Never played it, never followed it, I know it by name only. I am watch with excite.
  13. It seems to be getting well received on PC, at least the early access playthroughs. I really got a Transistor vibe too just by looking at the screenshots. The idea and style of the game seems great, so it's another to add to the list. I quite like the pun with the title, too.

  15. Has anyone tested a fighter yet from here? That'll be interesting to see, not sure if it'll work. I'm just impressed that this works at all. What a world we live in! The good thing is that this technology is just going to get better.
  16. How very GeoCities! That website is actually amazing.
  17. That was different, though. That's his money.
  18. @Eenuh spotted this earlier.
  19. Yeah, it looks ace. They showed it off well in the presentation and I really got a Scream vibe from it, that sort of teenage slasher type of film.
  20. Brah, do you have Spotify. The Interstellar soundtrack in on there. The track "Mountains"

    hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg

  21. Oh my god, Trauma Center is still the king at this. We had so many moments of accomplishment/frustration/anger at that game, haha. Still the best co-op game I've played to date. The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 were pretty chilled in comparison. Until Dawn should hopefully be fantastic and I really liked the look of what I saw of it. My type of game.
  22. When I mean played it together, I mean I played the game and watched it alongside me/gave me hints in case I missed something/told me something was to the left of me, etc. We did that from the start of the game to the very end and we also did it for the Walking Dead Season 1 and 2. Unfortunately no co-op mode, sorry.
  23. Sorry to hear that. My thoughts are with you.
  24. Really? Is the visual quality that good then? I'm impressed. On first impressions, would you say it's impressive? I know that they mentioned a subscription service in the future, so I'd be up for that. They'll add in more games, so I guess I'm not concerned about that yet, just curious about what's up there. Have any issues cropped up for you so far? Is it easy to navigate through the menus to stream the game? Cheers for answering my questions.
  25. Is your house made out of paper? Brb, moving to a mud hut.
