  1. How exactly do you live on 500 calories a day?
  2. Would be nice to see Ferguson show a little more respect in regards to other clubs players. Van Persie may well want to leave but he's an Arsenal player and Ferguson would do well to keep his mouth closed about trying to sign him. Lord knows he'd go off on one if it was the other way round.
  3. I had to wait 3 weeks before I could get my ACL reconstructed a few years back. It would have been immediately but the swelling took a long time to come down. It took me about a year but I got full range of motion back and strength. The hardest part was probably mentally trusting that my knee was ok and wasn't going to go again. The surgeon said there's no evidence it would be any more susceptible to tearing again and the fact that I was young meant it would get stronger as I grew.
  4. Port Aventura is awesome, the place is literally gigantic, well it was to 12 year old me. Did you happen to see the old style wooden roller coaster? (if it's there). When I went some years ago, some guy had died falling off that the day before and they were testing it with large water tanks instead of people. I believe it was called the Stampida.
  5. I'm surpised to see so many people writing off Arsenal. If it wasn't for the terrible injury problems early on last season, we'd have been right up there. Now we've strengthened the squad with 3 world class players and possibly more coming. City have recruited no one, Utd only Kagawa and whilst Chelsea have made some great signings, there's always a higher risk with younger foreign players. I'd expect much more from the Ox and hopefully the return of Jacky W. Diaby can be half decent if he can stay fit too.

    The Hobbit

As far as I can make out, he had to cut a lot to get the two films but wanted too film a little more to better suit a third film, so it was actually decent and not just a miss-mash of what was not in the first two films.
  7. I'm too busy watching Handball and Canoe Slalom and various other sports I only watch every 4 years around this time.
  8. Somewhere in Canada, not decided where yet. Got all the paperwork and legal things sorted just need to decide where to actually go.
  9. If it goes badly, don't let me know. I'll be doing the same thing come November (minus the relationship part). Good luck mate.
  10. I could never do a carb free diet, I do and enjoy doing too much exercise that just wouldn't be possible without a decent amount of carbs. Carbs are fine as long as you're getting the right stuff, whole grain and all that jazz.
  11. Doubtful, it's pretty expensive and i'd be too wary of damaging it anyway.
  12. It's a good bike. It really depends on what style your after, if you prefer a tourer or you're more into the sport models. My first Bike was a Honda 600CBR Fireblade. Sold it a couple of years back and just stuck with cars. I'd love to get a Yamaha R1 but it would probably be the death of me and my wallet.
  13. That's a valid point. You'd be better off with a bicycle than a 50cc.
  14. No. It will expire. You'd have to pass your Bike test and by then the CBT would be redundant and you could actually ride non-girl motorbikes.
  15. This isn't overly bad just a little surreal. Speaking with my bro earlier, he was on holiday in Denver last year and caught a movie that was showing in the same screen that was involved in the shooting last week. Small world.
  16. After the superficial gash that was Returns, i'm all for the gristly Batman like approach to this one.
  17. Well no it doesn't happen every month and the US is just slightly a bigger country than the UK, so it's not really a realistic comparison.
  18. You can't account for people with no conscience or morals. Restrict their access to firearms and they'll simply find another way to cause devastation. Utterly terrible and my thoughts are with anyone involved in this atrocity.
  19. I'm moving to Canada for year in November. No one said holidays have to be over in 2 weeks. I also like airports. Something about a place that connects people and sends them to all corners of the globe. I also have an almost kinky fascination with Planes.
  20. I never knew that and it's a very good point. The belief he would gain from winning one would make it a lot easier for him if he came up against Federer, Djokovic and Nadal in the final. I'm surprised that's not mentioned before, everyone talks about how many the others have won but never who they beat to win the first one.
  21. I like to look at it that he just hasn't been lucky enough to get his victories against the best players when the whole nation is watching.
  22. He's beaten Federer on 8 occasions and lost to him on 8 occasions, his record against Djokovic and Nadal isn't quite as good, although his record against the test of the top players like Tsonga, Ferrer and Del Potro is impressive.
  23. He was 18 when those comments were made. First impressions are all well and good but it's a little hypocritical when the same impressions weren't applied to Henman. People would be believing he was crazy if what he did on his first time at Wimbledon were any indication. Yes he can. He has beaten the best on many occasions when he has had too. Losing that match at Wimbledon doesn't change that.
  24. I've no problem with people hating Murray, everyone is entitled to like/dislike who they want. It's just boring when people trot out the stupid remarks about his nationality.
  25. Yeah his 3rd set serve percentage dipped in the 40's and that was a major factor. It was really good to see him keeping his cool, i've never seen him keep his composure so well especially with so much on the line. His best shot is coming up next with the US Open and on the basis of his two weeks here, no reason why he can't win that. It'll be important for Lendl to keep his head up though, not go into any funk. He shouldn't though, he played very well today.
