  1. The experts will always recommend you don't pop it due to risk of infection. I always do pop however, the feeling is wonderful.
  2. I'll only be impressed if the Mother turns out to be Marshall. After all these years, it's gonna take some casting to live up to the expectation.
  3. Well I can only speak for my part of the world, and I can tell you they do wear that. It's just the whole no socks thing that I don't like. I guess i just imagine it being a bit unhygienic on a warm day
  4. I don't mind paying money for good clothes as I generally find them to be far more comfortable and longer lasting that the cheaper alternative. Best example for me would be Levi jeans. I've own a few pairs of them and they didn't come cheap but they fit so well and can be washed many times without any fading. @Aneres11 That's the look I absolutely despise. I hate the whole rolled up, no sock look. Between that and those stupid gym shoes and skinny jeans combination, that's all the masses ever seem to wear. I'm more just a Jeans and T-Shirt guy though so I'm hardly an authority on fashion.
  5. I think Andy will do it, he did it only last month. It may not have been a slam but there's no doubting that players like Djokovic and Federer desperately wanted that gold medal as badly as they would any slam. Murray now has that belief, he's has that experience of winning major events that very few have.
  6. She's got all the power, which is such a commodity in the Womens game but her movement is not good enough. It has improved and will surely get better but that's what's holding her back. She's a big talent (best we've had in a long time) and at her age she is at now, it's the right time to be making the breakthrough. As for the Mens. I think it's impossible to call. Murray has a very difficult match up next against Raonic, it's a night match but that guy has a rocket arm. I think Murray will do it but it might be a long one. Too many so called experts put stock into previous round performances. How many times have we seen the top guys go 5 sets in one match and then obliterate a seemingly harder opponent in the next round, Federer vs Benneteau springs to mind at Wimbledon. Federer and Djokovic have looked impressive but they've had easy matches so far. There's a long way to go yet but Murray vs Federer is a mouthwatering semi-final. I don't think they've ever played in a grand slam semi, so it will be new ground for both. It's gonna be a cracking week of Tennis that's for sure.
  7. You don't because you've got your white blinkers on. Understudy is exactly what he is, which is why he doesn't play his first choice position in the national side. You can dress it up anyway you like, it doesn't change the fact. I'm not debating the fact he's a good player but he's not quite the second coming. I find it amusing you pan Giroud for being top scorer in a league you don't class as very good but you keep talking about Vertonghen's accomplishments in a league which is considered inferior to the French league. I do like to think I can have an intelligent debate but it's hard when your dealing with illogical people.
  8. He plays at left back because he isn't better than the two current centre backs (Kompany and Vermaelen). Why do you keep mentioning him being Ajax captain? Vermaelen also held this posistion when they both played for Ajax but I don't feel the need to keep bringing this up. I love how you class Dempsey as a decent option because he can play left and right and in behind but Podolski who can play those similar positions and who most people with a brain would class as a better player, you don't apparently rate at all. Chamakh was never 'excellent' for Bordeaux. He never scored more than 13 goals in the league and was never prolific. He was a decent option who was never anything more than a decent squad member for us.
  9. Why go from a first seeded Champions League side to an average Premiership side with ideas way above their station. He's well clear of them.
  10. You're an idiot. Why does he play left back for the national side you fool? it's not because he makes a better left back when wearing the national shirt it's because there's better centre backs available who have also been Ajax captain. Giroud does look short on confidence but he took an average side to a league title last season almost single handedly so i'm sure he'll come good. Podolski's been average bar one club? he only played for two clubs before Arsenal. I've probably only seen Podolski play over 50 times, he carried a club on his back for most of his career, he didn't have the best of times at Munich, being played out of position and not getting on with the coach. Where did i say he was a one hit wonder? he's hit double figures twice in 5 seasons, he's a decent player. My posts show that I know nothing about football? Yours carry about as much weight as your team appeal in the transfer market.
  11. One man team That backline will be destroyed against decent sides. Fergie doesn't seem to know his best side, very odd to be rotating keepers in meaningful games.
  12. Great bit of business by Wenger, that Diaby fella looks class.... Faultless performance. I'm surprised so many people were amazed we didn't do any business on Friday, we've got a big squad. Diaby's performance showed why Wenger allowed Song to go. The defence is looking very good and we're still missing one of the best right backs in football. Things definitely moving the right direction.
  13. Yes, Vermaelen does score a lot of goals for a centre back.
  14. LOL. You've settled for Dempsey because you couldn't get anyone else. He's 29 with one decent season under his belt, he's not even regarded as a 'striker'. Never mind that Podolski has nearly 50 international goals, you don't rate him, what a shit signing Wenger... You judge Giroud on 90 odd minutes of football. Never mind you've got Vertonghen, he's a good back up for Vermaelen in the Belgium side.
  15. Considering the farce that is the goalkeeping position in the England National side (other than Joe Hart) It's a joke that Fraser Forster hasn't been picked yet. You can pan the Scottish game all you want but he still plays in the same regulation sized goals as anyone and still keeps the same regulation size ball out of the net. He's been really well in the Champions League qualifiers for us and will likely get a chance to showcase himself in the group stages. I'm not for a second he should be picked ahead of hart but to see guys like Green (who makes mistake after mistake), Butland (Lost for words there) and Ruddy (decent, but very inexperienced on the big stage. Forster has played in atmosphere's that very few English keeps have ever played in and he's definitely good enough to be in that squad.
  16. With so many lawsuits and injunctions going on in both companies, their legal departments better have some decent filing systems to remember exactly what their arguing about in each country.
  17. Finally got round to seeing The Dark Knight Rises Thought it was brilliant, the whole story and the casting of Bane was inspired. Enjoyed the more depressed tone of the film and the City of Pittsburgh looked very good on the big screen. Not to mention I cannot stop saying "It's not a car" repeatedly.
  18. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding the whole thing. The UCI administered all his tests after he came back and declared them clean, many have come out before saying he cheated only to disappear without a trace. The criminal investigation went no where as there wasn't any evidence. Scientists can't even agree on what make's a positive blood sample. From everything i've read on the subject, it really does seem like the USADA doing everything it can to bury him. As for the others validating his claims, a lot of these are drug cheats who've been promised things in order to cooperate with the USADA's investigation. Good article from The Telegraph about it all.
  19. Obviously going to be his viewpoint but worth reading his whole statement on the matter instead of just the media headlines. http://lancearmstrong.com/news-events/lance-armstongs-statement-of-august-23-2012
  20. I'm an avid support of Lance Armstrong and have always strongly supported him throughout his whole career. I'm very interested to see this evidence the USADA has, they've gone against their own remit and regulations in carrying out this witch hunt. He's been the most drug tested athlete in sports and has never failed a test, I find it hard to believe that only he has somehow managed to dodge the system when no else has been able to. His decision to stop fighting these accusations in no way imply that he's guilty, especially when the process he's up against is so one-sided. The USADA have no authority to strip him of his titles, that's up to the UCI.
  21. I don't play games and I don't watch TV in the classic way. I watch shows on my laptop from iTunes so i'm never bothered by the whole adverts. I'm not going to argue which is better for me but I do find myself sometimes engaging with certain characters in shows that have done similar things to maybe i'm trying to do. I obviously know it's not real but motivation doesn't care if it is or not.
  22. I'd like to write a book, nay a series of books about about the one ring to rule them all.
  23. It's AVB plan to destroy every London club he takes over.
