  1. The talented Ms. Ripley never gets enough recognition for all the metro androidery we get.
  2. Pro Evo tho bro. Bit of a Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons situation. It will be fun to see how it all goes. I reckon the next FIFA will sell as normal and if it's a stinker then gamers might waken up to the existence of EA Sports FC and gradually head back to it. Watch out for them debuting with EA Sports FC Legacy Edition on Switch...
  3. While consoles were warring amongst themselves, toys were missing out and the music industry was quaking in its boots. And that was when games were only at 11% market penetration in the UK. Surely games were about to lay waste to the rest of entertainment.
  4. Is he like Ant & Dec in the comics or what?
  5. I've the last episode still to watch. I knew nothing about Moon Knight going in and have enjoyed the show. What does anyone English think of the portrayal? Acts and sounds the part as far as I can tell.
  6. Just hope he and the rest of the cast get some decent scripts to work with. Yes, I'll take decent.
  7. Had this appear on Youtube. For those wondering how spoilerific it is, it's not too bad. At the end, it says the clips and story beats discussed come largely from the opening hours so if you can cope with that, what are you waiting for? Pop the kettle on and enjoy.
  8. You would say that. You're onto your fourth Marvel thread.
  9. Burnout and Need For Speed are all the Criterion collection anyone could need.
  10. I have one too (can't remember which model specifically) and it's been well worth it for 2D games and/ or 2-player games instead of the drifty joy-cons. Just can be a bit finicky to get it synched sometimes but once I'm gaming it feels good, especially with the NES and SNES games on Switch. Replayed Mario World 12 or so months ago and unsurprisingly, it holds up to this day. Only needed a few levels to get used to the screen scroll and weight and feel of Mario and then I was back into it. Finished with 94 exits though. Sloppy.
  11. Don't forget about the May Day Tour if you're yet to do it this year and still plan on doing so.
  12. Meaningless post of the day... posted.
  13. Lure us in with Sonic then sidestep to Billy Hatcher, eh. Probably from Sonic R or something but I'll guess that it's... a character from Dual Heroes.
  14. Finished this off 100% in Rememberance and Destruction. I think I amassed around 85% in the other section, the info/story notes. So there's stuff to go back for (and no missables as I was worried about at the beginning). Some animé moments aside (i.e. can we get these kids some clothes!), this was a top game overall. It pulls in basically everything you can think of from decades of the story genre and puts its own spin on all that material. Really good stuff and well thought out with twists, turns and revelations aplenty to keep you wondering just how far they are going to take it. The way you can go through a lot of it in the order of your choosing means twists will vary between players depending on when you're exposed to certain storylines. Obviously, the story (Rememberance) can be enjoyed at your leisure and that is the case by and large for Destruction mode too, however, out of all the missions, there were two I had to retry and go out of my way to spend stat points on. First, Area 3-2 or 3-3 I got overwhelmed out of nowhere before waltzing onwards to the finale which I also had to retry a fair number of times. Before my winning attempt, I ended up spending all my points and even then just scraped through with ~10% terminal defence remaining. So it'll keep you on your toes. Anyone looking for a change of pace would do well to add this to their collection.
  15. Apparently "Real Madrid doesn't play finals, they win them" so it's a foregone conclusion.
  16. Tell me how much the AW 1+2: Re-Boot Camp delay is expected to impact Nintendo's sales forecast without telling me how much the AW 1+2: Re-Boot Camp delay is expected to impact Nintendo's sales forecast.
  17. Noodles stir-fried in sauce, enfolded in sweetened bread... he doesn't trust much in this post-war world... but if there's one exception it's his yakisoba pan. Yup, I've seen a couple of storylines to the end now and I've circled back to yakisoba pan guy again. Hoping he gets to chow down in every chapter.
  18. I went all-in like that with Yangus and the others but didn't know what to specialise in with the Hero either.
  19. What skills did you end up investing points in?
  20. Twinbee! Good lad, @Julius! I got Pokémon Yellow and Crystal when they came out on the 3DS VC (had Red and Gold) if that helps with your deliberations. Also double-dipped on Pokémon TGC. It's good stuff and definitely worth a look if you think it might be your kind of bag. You won't go too wrong with most of those titles you've listed.
  21. 146. I can open up almost any time if you give me a little bit of notice... or you can hold out for @punio75!
