  1. Nice racing. Haven't seen some of those tracks in a while and thought new cups had been added or we were in mirror mode a few times. Thanks for waiting at the beginning. Before the start time when I said "let's wait for more players!" that was me really saying I need a slash, brb! I did my part but it isn't a democracy so...
  2. I got around to watching Book of Boba Fett a few weeks ago and enjoyed it plenty. Nice to see I'm not as alone on that as I thought because I made the mistake of having a look online to see what the general consensus was and was shocked to see the volume of negative feedback. I found the so-called slower stuff to be interesting and preferable to the finale. Why does everything always have to devolve into a destruction-fest?
  3. "Here are some rough and tumble tactics to get you started."
  4. Keep refreshing the South Korean Youtube page just in case.
  5. Could be that there's a last-minute announcement coming of a Direct + Treehouse in the usual slots but personally, I'll be happy enough if Nintendo gives this Summer Games Fest fiasco a wide berth and put out a mid-year Direct at some other time when SGF is caught unawares and can't piggyback off it. Hardly think they'd take the hump over Silksong. If Nintendo opts to do smaller and more frequent news reveals and updates, that might be cool too. No reason why they shouldn't experiment a bit with E3 not happening. We all know they're apt to Tweet out a trailer at any moment for a never-seen-before game that's set to release in three weeks or something. Nintendo is a bit of a loose cannon.
  6. ONLY 27 DAYS LEFT TO GET BLUEBEAR!!
  7. Only thing Nintendo needs is more paper and ink for the money printing printer.
  8. https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/summer-game-fest-schedule/ Just came across this handy looking roundup. Reckon I'll make a note to catch up with the Wholesome Direct as I gave it a look last year and it was games I wanted from start to finish. Probably be better off rewatching last year's to see what's made its way to Switch from that in the last 12 months. Otherwise, I'm sure if there's any Switch news from the rest I'll hear about it one way or another.
  9. Just to add that for us folks over here that's gonna be at 11pm UK time. Resident Evil 2 on the N64 NSO if you please. My body is getting ready.
  10. Haven't got it on Switch but if I ever get an N64 controller and it goes on sale I'd be a fool to pass it up. Duke just doesn't feel right with the Pro Controller.
  11. I'd also love to try it with Duke Nukem and the Doom games I have on Switch.
  12. Beggars can't be choosers so give us a link if this happens (and is Switch compatible, preferably).
  13. I noticed this with Link's Awakening. Could be a feature of Hero Mode. Excellent game. It's familiar yet different. The first time I played I remember my perspective of the environments gradually changing as I got in tune with thinking about how walls could be navigated. I've fired it up a few times over the years just to play a bit and try things in different orders. It's compact and like you say there, strikes the perfect balance between Zelda 1 freedom and guiding the player. I'd love BotW 2 to take note! Though for some reason, ALBW doesn't directly spring to mind when I'm thinking of the best Zeldas but when it does, I remember it's up there with the best.
  14. In which slot are we to nominate it? The grand finale in GP3 race 4?
  15. When that day comes, notify us as soon as you secure one for yourself.
  16. Further evidence that one man's trash is another man's treasure: I genuinely have fond memories of Rival Turf so I'm very pleased to have it available through NSO.
  17. Just checked at the weekend as I fancied one too and of course they were out of stock. I shouldn't have been surprised but for some reason I thought the stock issues had been resolved by now.
  18. This isn't a joke? A frantic night on Mute City and Big Blue it is, then!
  19. Joined the online session and it hasn't sold me on it so I reckon I'll hold fire and wait for impressions when the dust settles instead of just buying it blindly on day one like I did with Golf. Seems polished but I want to know what options it has as I'd be inclined to want to turn off items, super shots and whatever to just play a tackle, pass, through-ball, shoot style game of footy. Character stats + player proficiency is enough for me. That's how I rocked on Gamecube. Of course, it's impossible to judge it definitively from these 2v2 matches. Too much chaos. Don't know the buttons. Don't know which character I am. Don't know which character I'm switching to. The other person doesn't know what's going on either. Not a great first impression but not ruling it out.
  20. Fairy nuff but you can replay games like DKC, Mario, Starwing, etc on these services by utilising legit faster routes rather than exploiting the binary like a pr0.
  21. Could've not lost to the West Hammers and/or the Jesters from Leicester.
  22. DO NOT TOUCH THAT REMOTE @Julius
  23. Macked and tacked. That was big Akinfenwas last game. Always seemed good banter. Maybe see him as a pundit some day. Absolutely hilarious. Heinous amounts of money being thrown around by PSG. It's a waste of his career being there and he hardly needs the cash, but don't you love to see clubs like Real Madrid not getting it their own way. Maybe they should do some scouting instead of trying to revive the galactico era. Does Mbappé getting a say on Poch's replacement mean Zidane is incoming I wonder.
  24. Looks like the Mbappster's turned down Real Madrid. Slap it up them.
