But camping is one of the best things about festivals! Well, that depends on how many people you are with, and how fun they are really. So it's no problem for me really to have an awesome time. Not like it's hard to make friends either. Though I'd understand if you found the camping part a bit unpleasant having to live like a tramp and such. However, it seems quite obvious that the main problem was you were too sober too often.

I am back at a Nintendo site, despite no gaming console. DarkZero is still going. And I am definitely not a goth. I am just a guy who likes metal and stuff.

Metal is my domain. But do not get that confused with crap like Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium or such, this is false metal and I disapprove. Not to say I only listen to metal. I will recommend to anyone with a decent pair of ears The Moon and The Nightspirit, a two piece folk band from Hungary. Proper folk, none of this Bob Dylan shit. Awesome to go to sleep to.

I wish I had more pictures, I have very very few for 3 festivals. Dyson is correct. So much more. Hellfest and Wacken, everyone is nice happy and friendly, you could have a conversation with pretty much everyone because everyone loves metal, and that is why they've travelled from Finland or Australia or Mexico or wherever. Bloodstock being a UK festival wasn't quite of friendly of course, a good few wankers about the place. Fests in the Mainland Europe though, I have never heard or experienced anything bad about. Anyone who has ever driven through Wacken village on their way in will know the true meaning of music community. Never seen anything like it in my life.

You get to watch and often meet your favourite bands. Päde from Eluveitie, for example. And you get to meet up with friends from all over place and have a big party. I mean this is probs less than half of our camp. So, what festivals do people go to? Last year I went to Hellfest, Wacken, and Bloodstock. This year I will be doing those three again, but will also be going to Ragnarok! Awesooome!

I remember when such a meet up was tried to be organised years ago, 2005 or maybe earlier. Did it actually ever happen?

I think for a laugh I might buy this site and ban anyone who wasn't around two years ago or so. And a castle (complete with its own wizard) on its own little (little as in fairly big) island. And some vikings to go pillaging and make the island great. -
Jokes go too far when they are basically an insult/mocking/belittling hidden behind 'only joking' as soon as someone points out the joker is being a prick. When the 'joke' is aimed at a friend or someone. Though if it was aimed at Saddam or someone it wouldn't matter :P The way the world works eh?

Thirteen Saw it in media. Not something i'd usually watch. I'd seen parts of it before but was kinda distracted at the time. I really have no idea what it was that kept my interest, but something did. Basically, some girl wants to be cool, becomes friends with some girl who is a bad influence, shit happens. It's worth watching just for the chicken, which the class skipped the film backwards to watch again :P The film also got nominated for an Oscar btw. Film: 8/10 Chicken: 10/10

Mick Foley's is so good I read it twice, maybe three times. His books rock so hard, I have 'Foley Is Good' somewhere, I remember I didn't get into it at first but it's still on the same level of awesomeness as the autobiography, which is probably my fave book ever.

My cymbal (yeah, 1, aside from hats ) is so cheap it doesnt even have a make printed on it. If I bought cheap (as in expensive) cymbals I wouldn't be able to afford extra stands. As for Foo's, I have a ticket for the Manchester show where support is: Airwaves & Angels, The Strokes, and The Subways. Hyde Park however, still have A&A, but also have bands I wouldnt mind seeing, and therefore couldn't play at Manchester, bands like QOTSA and Motorhead.

I'd perhaps get some stuff for my drums, but £100 wouldn't get me very far there, so probably CD's or over-priced band t-shirts and hoodies. Because of my taste in bands, I still wouldn't get very far on either route. Oh well.
