Well, my fave band is probaby Immortal. Their style of black metal varied over time, they have their older stuff for the more old school black metal (though for that I prefer burzum and 1349), then they have their later stuff which is a lot more technical, and I really love it. Solarfall is one of my faves songs of theirs, awesome stuff. Then my fave singer would be Michael Jackson (Abbath from Immortal doesnt really 'sing' :P). I don't really think I need to go on about the awesomeness of MJ.

The cannon looks better, more cymbals, but seriously, does anyone have their toms like that? Mine usually have some serious angleage on them. Anyway, it matters not all that much, begginer kits all sound rather crap. Trust me, I have one We have a nice Yamaha one at lessons and the difference is significant. So with that in mind, the main thing for me that I can think of would be that the pedals have nice long footboards. And look at the joints and stuff, you will soon appreciate adjustableness, the toms can be a bitch sorting them how you want, especially the second mounted one. Everything there looks decent enough though. And I notice it comes with silencer pads. There are two kinds, the thick rubber, and the rubber that is more like foam. I've never used the first but I assume they are better, the foam ones make it quiet enough but dont 'silence' the drums, and they wear out easily. My cymbal pad is worn nearly half way through in one place, and the pads on my toms are beggining to show wear. Anyway, enjoy drumming

Days when I have college could be 9-10 hours. Though sometimes I will have breaks where I practice on the drums. Weekends and holidays can be whatever tme I get up until whenever I go bed.

The only reasons Metallica's record sales have gone down is because they've released crap for the last 15 years. Piracy or no piracy :P

But the ones who are arguing over it make themselves not welcome. Are they going to join a forum to argue some more? And I was here before DZ was around. There are still some good members from when I first joined, its people like that are the reason many of us still visit. If you make new friends, do you completely forget the old ones?

This album was better than I thought it would be, still, its no SOAD or Toxicity imo. Moral stance? Hostile has it pretty much sussed :P

The attitude of some people here is sickening, a woman has been widowed, parents have lost their son, CHILDREN HAVE LOST THEIR FATHER FFS. And the moderation around here is so diabolical that such insulting posts haven't even been taken care of. And there is no RE vs. DZ thing, some people here just can't stand that some are obviously having a better time somewhere else, maybe they are the sad ones who suck cock of this place, eh?

I remember I had been getting really into Pantera for 2-3 months and then he got killed Pantera were amoung the earlier metal bands I got into.

Hmm... I tied mt hair back today, where I just about have some shitty ponytail thing happening. Now, if my hair was black, and ponytail, or just hair, had bright pink streaks, would be cool. I think it was Ford whos idea that was, I quite like the idea too :P
