That game is in just about every shop in town that sells even just a few games. Maplins for example. Never played it though, I want the original Theme Park, which I could probably appreciate properly now i'm older.

This. I stopped classing myself as a gamer about 2004ish. I had no drive to play. I might rarely play the odd game for a week or so, but it wasn't something I did every other day anymore More like every other 6/12 months. 5 years later and recently i've bought a 360 and a new PC to play games on. However, In those 5 years i've learnt to play two instruments, seen over 200 bands, been to festivals across Europe, started a successful local band myself, met my girlfriend, went back to college and learnt new things/qualifications, got a part time job, had one of my bands release a cd on a label, met new friends, and probably other cool stuff besides. Now i'm gonna be doing all this cool shit as well as playing some games. Win Win. Take a break and focus on other aspects of your life.

That second one McPhee suggested off dinopc. Sure is! I've had this Mac Mini all to myself for the last 2 years and it's great having access whenever you want! I'll still be using it for general net access and playing music and such, but it's lack of available software (and power needed to run what software there is) has led me to get this PC to have alongside it.

Well you might like to know i've taken the plunge, and expect to have a PC within 2 weeks. It will be the first (working) windows platform i've had in about 5 years! And it will be the first Windows PC I won't be sharing with family, so I can keep it nice and tidy. Awesome.

If I downgrade that to the have the same cpu, and stick in the graphics card I want, I can get it for £420. Just under £500 with the OS. Nice one. Looked up that student offer. Well we have a PC with Vista but are waiting on a replacement graphics card which won't arrive until after the offer ends :-/ It all seems unclear to me anyway, is the full version they're offering or just the upgrade? Think i'll give it a few more days to think it through now.

Well the only game I have really been playing for the last year or so is world of warcraft. Might play some other RPG's. But then I know some people who play Race Driver: Grid, and I know that takes some power. Would also like to play some shooting games, but I have no specifics in mind. If I am playing a game, that is all I will be doing. Just the tower. I imagine Windows 7 will be the most future proof? I guess the main problem is graphics cards. So many to choose from and so little clue about any of them :P

I want a PC. I want to play games that look fairly shiney. This is probably all I will use it for mainly. I've been using a Mac for the past 2-3 years so I don't have a bloody clue where to start. Can anyone recommend any pre-built boxes? Or a nice build on one of those sites where you put in the parts and they build it? I'm not looking to build one myself. All I need is the box. I don't really want to spend any more than £600 Thanks.

I did French at high school. I hated it, which I blame a lot on my teacher :P In GCSE I got a D. Then I finished school, I thought that was it with French. Addmittedly I was never much cop at the languages, but somehow remained in the (bottom of the) top classes.Then when I was in France a short while back I met a girl over there and it's funny how quickly things can change :P It was actually since last summer I thought about trying to pick up French again as I was over there for a festival which has become my favourite. However, for 1 weekend a year, it's hard to get yourself to actually do anything about it. But since I met this girl it's a bit more encouragement, even though she speaks ok English anyway. She wants me to go over and visit her so I imagine that will be great for learning.

I don't actually know what the place is called. It's a small German town we stopped at on our way back from Bavaria. It's was like stepping back in time. An impressive medieval castle, people walking around it traditional German dress. Buildings made of wood and painted with interesting decorations of many colours. The weather was great and so was the beer. The place looked like it had been nearly untouched for 200+ years. Never seen anything like it, certainly not in this country.

He has waited long and hard to build power, where others parade it around not knowing it's worth. Considered wise by others, but really has as little clue as they do. Calm and reserved. Speaking of festivals, I just got back From Wacken this week, and have Bloodstock next week. Then it's festivals over until next year.
