Nintendo must get a bit annoyed sometimes. When they made Wii Sports they left devs a perfect instruction manual showing them a glimpse of what a great Wii game could be. Unfortunetly most seem to have taken it as the best example of a final product.

A couple of home truths: 1. Halo 3 would probably sell bucketloads if it was just a piece of paper with "3" scrawled on it and retailed for the price of a block of nazi gold. 2. Nobody buys core. Not ever.

Damon says he has no idea where these Kirk rumours have been coming from. If I was him I wouldn't touch this project with a barge pole anyway. Anyway, just to reiterate: it's this kind of film making that makes me hate and despair for hummanity. Lets just paper over the last couple of movies and Scott Bakula and move on to something new, please?

It's true though, someone really needs to start producing some actual full-blown Wii-Sports titles.

I hope they integrate the whole Mii system proper. Those things aren't utilised nearly enough yet.

I'm awfully tempted to run right out and buy a 360 now, but my gut's telling me that some very attractive new bundles aren't too far off in the future. Of course one darn't wonder about the rush on stores that would surely be occuring by then. Decisions, decisions.

When do the big winter/Xmas bundles generally start coming on tap in stores? I'm starting to feel like some kind of predatory consumer, stalking herds of 360s and their disk cubs across the vast grasslands of my local town centre. I'm just waiting, quiet, invisible to all, waiting for that perfect moment when an unlucky bundle strays to far from the herd, ready to pounce in an orgy of financial violence wreaked with deadly chip & pin plastic claws.

Copenhagen Well actually, it's a fairly straight-play-to-film affair. About three atomic physicists who meet up again after WW2. Discussions and argument soon fly thick about their delicate pre-war relationships, the morality of their work and of the use atomic energy, sprinkled with some idol chit chat about physics philosophy and sub-atomic mechanics. I was sweating IQ points by the end of it, but the performances from Daniel Craig, Stephen Rea and Francesca Annis were magnificent. 8/10

They're also insanely successful and popular, do great charity work and probably make enough from merch sales to buy themselves gold plated mansions if the need ever took them.

Halo 3 is being released slightly earlier because they finished slightly ahead of schedule. I know that sounds crazy, but that would be my bet.

Why would Halo 2.5 even be considered a bad thing? Halo 2 was brilliant. Stick a better campaign on the end of that (with 4 player online co-op, no less) and let the good times roll.

That's a really nice idea for an item. Add a bit of colour to the scenario. I can imagine players experimenting with making smoke displays and the like.
