Just got this last week - those custom ones are amazing! I'll have to try playing those at some point. I havn't tried making my own - how can you make sure that it is actually possible? If i made one i'm sure it would be crazy and probably impossible to get to the top no matter what you did! I am currently on Level 130-odd. I play it every day on my lunch - it is the perfect game for that. Some of them really mess with my head and i have to give up, only to play it again in the evening and do it within minutes. Madness.

I want! Are they for sale somewhere?!

I think the toes are just a way of slowing it down - but it doesn't pay off with the time it takes to achieve. Bad design really. Getting on his head is the same as always, he will be stunned by the bomb blast so you can slash the spike all the way in his head, after which he throws you off for the next round.
-
Is it only in black at the moment? I wouldn't mind waiting for a different coloured one, even if it's just white.
-
If i remember rightly, i didn't even bother with his toe/fingernails. I just sail up to the level above him, keep close, wait for a bomb, blast him and jump on his head for the slash. Rinse and repeat. I found that i wasted too much time, and got hit too much when i was on his level trying to hit his feet etc. The hardest boss fight for me is the one with all the arms you have to whip off. I love it though, it's an amazing boss!

I cant wait for this either - MP8 was a bit of a let down, but i always love the Party series as it's one of few games along with Mario Kart that i can get my girlfriend and familly to play. Good times ahead hopefully!
-
My two least enjoyable parts of the whole game to be honest.

I have avoided any info on the Vita not to tempt me, why did i come into this thread?! I am gonna wait though - the price has got to come down surely.

Totally agree. It's a sad world when the only way to contact some people is via Facebook. I miss simple phone calls and e-mails

It's pretty stupid, because most people i know just get a friend to do it instead. Most people know at least one person with a pretty nifty camera that takes professional quality pictures these days. It may not be as arty, but you can still get the standard cake close-ups and what-not. Sometimes the best shots are the ones friends take anyway on their supposedly crap compacts. I'd never do the massive church and hotel thing - waste of time and money. Simple, romantic and intimate all the way.

We're dreadful. We accumulate so much crap it's unreal. I would advise you to leave as much stuff as you can at your mom's if you can persuade her. Put it in storage boxes and put it in her attic/cellar/garage/wherever. There's no point taking stuff you dont need, like childhood memories, photos, toys etc. Ultimately you will gather more and more stuff anyway, so unless it is needed/really special to you, i wouldn't take it. If it does come to binning stuff, be ruthless, else you will waste your time with little result! If you really have the drive, you can take some stuff to car boot sales, charity shops or even sell online.

Haha yeah, i suppose it does sound quite bad! I was trying to portray how the community spirit there was so strong :p It is a very nice area Ine i promise!

I know it well. That's cool. Westbourne is a really nice area. It was really shook up a few years ago when some teens killed the resident Marks & Sparks hobo, but it made literally everybody in the area pay tribute to him as literally everybody had chatted to and remembered him. That's community spirit for you! Oh, and if you like curry, there's an amazing curry place called Westbourne Tandoori. I often visit my girlfriend's familly down there, and that is always our choice of restaurant!

You're moving to Bournemouth? I used to live there! Where abouts? I had digs near Boscome, then Parkstone and then Westbourne, so i know the place quite well!

Possible job opportunity in Germany - cue massive relationship stress and uncertainty! Does anybody live in Frankfurt? Or know of any jobs one could do without speaking German? Quite frankly i hate the world right now. It's always good news, bad news. Nothing ever falls into place easily

*insert funny comment* Happy Birthday Ine! Have a bouncy smilie

I am trying to get 3 stars in all of the cups at the moment. Just 2 cups to go on 150CC. Took me ages to do some of them because one track would always drag me down, like Daisy Cruiser, i hate that track! I dont know why, but it messes me up big time in this game, i never had any problem with it before. It really annoys me when i win every race and still only get 2 stars as well. The only thing i can think is that i wasn't in the lead enough, or i fell off the track or got hit too many times, i dont know. It is pretty harsh though. I havn't tackled Mirror Mode yet, i am saving that for next! I'm sure it will take me a while to 3-star all of those too.

Really? haha, no way. I never get round to watching it anymore. I still think it is awesome, but i'd have to watch it every week to get back into the storylines and get to know the new people i havn't seen. It's crap if you dont know what's going on. I did try and series link record it on Sky a few months back to motivate me to watch it, but it kept clashing with other stuff

Yeah, i have dodged one purely out of luck! I used a mushroom right before it hit, it probably helped that i boosted off a ramp at the exact moment as well. It was an amazing moment! Avoiding a blue shell feels godly! I dont think i could do it again though.

Is it Rock V Cena at WM28? I'll be tuning in for that if so! The last thing i watched was when Rocky teamed up with him a few months back. Legendary stuff.

I'm thinking of getting this, but i'm not sure. I've always been terrible at Resi games, well, i've only ever played the remake on the GameCube, and i never finished it. I have played the demo for revelations - took me three tries to complete it! I am just crap at Resi, so i need to know, is it really hard? Are there plenty of herbs and ammo around on normal difficulty? Or is there an easy option?

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Hmmmmm. That was my original thought after seeing this. I liked the book, it wasn't amazing, but it was interesting, but that seemed to get lost in translation. What i liked about the book was how introvert Salander was; she barely ever spoke and she was cold as ice. That worked well in the book because we got alot of insight into her thought processes when she was silent. Obviously that is difficult in film, and so they had to make her speak a bit more, which detracted from her character. She is far more open in the film too, like when Blomkvist asks about her father and she willing tells him what she did - that is ridiculous! That isn't revealed until much later (book 2 or 3, i forget). Plus the love element in the film wasn't believable, and they left aspects of Blomkvists exploits out - he is a bit of an arse really in the book when it comes to love, which would make the ending of the film a bit more understandable, as it is though it didn't really have the same impact (Berger wasn't nearly involved in his life in the film as she should have been). Daniel Craig is a dreadful cast for Blomkvist as well. Nothing like i pictured him - far too surly, cool and... British! I love how all the other actors spoke with a Swedish twang, but Daniel was solidly English throughout. I think he acted the part well, don't get me wrong, he was just badly cast on appearance. Rooney on the other hand did make a good Salander for the most part. It is not her fault they had to adapt her character to make it work on screen, so what she did do was top quality. There were some very good scenes with her. Not sure about the blonde eyebrows though. Overall, i would give it a 6.5, 7 max, purely because i dont think the book translates well to the screen. They did the best they could, and for what its worth, they did a fairly good job. I think if i hadn't read the book though, i would be completely confused. And they changed the ending for some unknown reason (concerning Harriet) which was annoying. Let's hope they improve for the next installment, as that is probably my favourite book of the trilogy. I should really watch the Swedish films as well since they are rated pretty highly.
