I'm just gonna add some love for Sunshine. That game totally took over my life for a while. I loved the summery setting and feel of the whole thing, and running around Delfina Plaza was lush. I never felt like it was repetitive or tiresome at any point, even gathering all of the coins. F.L.U.D.D was also a cool invention and i found that quite intuitive to use in reaching high places combined with Mario's jumping ability. So... yeah... much Sunshine love from me.

Spent my £20 on Professor Layton and the Spectres Call. They are really pushing for people to trade-in their old games. Literally every customer, it was "don't forget to bring in your old games to trade!". Like that's going to help. Also noticed this GAME still had pre-orders open for Luigis Mansion 2 and Mario Tennis Open. This one even still had Kid Icarus on display with a countdown tuntil tomorrow. I wonder if they'll actually sell it or if it is just an old promo display. I'll be pretty annoyed if they do sell it. The website doesn't have it, so i assumed no GAME shops would and bought it on ShopTo. Grrr.

I am really suprised at all of your enthusiasm for the AR cards - i thought they were a bit a tacked on extra! I'm not fussed about them at all to be honest. Am i missing something =/ Are you actually going to meet up with people to AR fight your cards? It's like some modern twist on playground pogs. I dont get it. Hope this is waiting for me when i get home though

I like the front. The back is good artwork, but i just don't like massive pictures on tees, or anything at all on the backs of them to be honest. Pretty cool though.

I didn't care for the digging mini-game at first, but it did grow on me once i wrapped my head around the premise. It is interesting how motion plus divides people's enjoyment of the game. I had no problems whatsoever, and it was a joy to play using it.

Harsh. I agree with you on some accounts, like the re-use of areas. I didn't care much for that, though most reviewers seemed to think it was creative and blah-blah. And yeah, the sky was a bit barren but Skyloft was nice. My only complaint with Skyloft was that once a side-plot had finished with a smaller character, they would then be hanging around saying the same damn thing everytime you spoke to them. This would be fine if they were in a house out of the way, but that woman and the bug-kid right by the central square - argh - i spoke to them so many times just because they were in a place i often ran past and they never had anything new to say later on in the game. Regardless. It is an awesome Zelda purely for dungeon design and sword gameplay for me. Apply the swordplay mechanics to OOT and the best game ever would become untouchable in my opinion.

I followed some people in here who had easy links to their profile etc. I am a bit too lazy to search! Follow me back if you like

Maybe they'll have some mega close down sale and sell off Vita's for £100. No?! One can hope.

Gahh, i'm stuck on a stage. Noooo!!! It is a special Nintendo one of Boo, and it haunts me. Oh how it haunts me.

Question now is whether i trust ordering something online with my points or try and find something in-store before the end of the week!

I totally missed out on this. Congrats to the winners! I will just bitterly say that i don't like the look of any of them anyway. Makes me feel better :p

Hate to admit it, but i missed it on the N64 and have only played the DS version. Sometimes i think about picking up an original copy and playing it as God (read: 'Miyamoto') intended, but alas, i never do.

That HP Folio 13 looks nice. You've got me thinking of getting one! I've always loved the look of the MacBook Air, but everytime i think about it i stop myself because i can't make the leap from Windows.

I have been thinking about getting a Wireless Access Point, or Wireless Repeater - whatever the proper name for this is - because it is annoying me so much that in my entire house, my bedroom is the only room i cannot access our WiFi in. I want something i can set up easily, put somewhere near my bedroom out of the way and boost my routers signal so i can use the net in bed (no, not for porn...!). I have tried pretty much every channel on the router to see if that makes a difference, but it appears not. There is nothing i'm aware of that should be blocking the signal either. It is so weird. I can literally get a 3-bar signal outside my bedroom door, but the moment i step inside it is gone. Makes me think there is some crazy metal in the walls of something. Anyway, my question is, are these things worth it? Are they easy to set up? And do you know any good, cheap ones i could get? Alternatively, what else can i do to increase the distance of the router's signal?

I would be on board with Kindles and stuff if say you could buy a real book and get an eBook code included or something for a little extra. I guess the same could be done with blu-rays and games, but people would be more likely to sell the physical copy of those and stick with the download they got with it. Maybe if some bright spark comes up with a solution to prevent that it would be good.

Yeah, but the chicken joke is widely known as the most stupid, non-funny joke ever. From that base, the idea of changing the meaning of it has now become the joke. "You thought it meant that, but it actually means this!". That's why it is funny. Not that the chicken dies, or anything else like that.
-
Oh come on, when everyone first heard that joke they thought it was literally to just get to the other side of the road. No-one ever thought it could mean to get to the other side of life - hence the minds being blown. I guess thinking it through, it does imply that the chicken knows it wouldn't make it across, hence sounding suicidal, but meh. New angle to age-old joke = win.

Digital sucks. I still buy real CD's, but i don't buy many anyway and they are only of bands i really like. I guess if it was just an impulse buy, digital would be okay. For books and movies though, i say no. The tactile feel of paper is something that can never be replaced digitally and the size of HD movies is just too big to bother with for me. I hate the faff of downloading and managing memory for the stuff, let alone converting files and all that bollocks just to get it to play on the PS3 or something on the tele. Games have their advantages, but only the small stuff. I would never buy a full-retail priced game as a digital only download. Again, file size is too big, and eventually gets expensive having the storage media for it. I just realised the other day that we have no way of playing cassette tapes in our house anymore since we got a new hi-fi for Christmas. Sad times

Dancing On Ice Live tickets for the mother. She will love it. Well, she better as they weren't cheap!

I'm tempted to get Ridge Racer 3D with my points. I think i've got about £20 to spend. Any other recommendations anyone has seen cheap? 3DS or PS3 games ideally.

That is a quality film. So simple and brutal at the same time. I recently saw Scorpian King on tele as well for the first time. Not a bad little film either. Some great action scenes. I think he has struggled getting good roles to be honest. Hard to shake the Rocky image. He made the mistake of doing family films too, hence the constant Tooth Fairy jibes he gets now in WWE. And the less said about Doom the better. He was however pretty cool in Fast Five, and i did like Welcome to the Jungle. He needs more roles like that, as a cop/FBI/agent/army/assassin or something. Action movies basically, or even horrors. I'm not sure he can get back in though. Isn't his latest film that adventure one? He is well and truly sucked-in to the Disney side. Maybe a year out in WWE will do him good, though it will never happen.

I really hope there's a demo of this. I have wanted it in the back of my mind for a while now, but still not sold. In fact the more i have learnt, the less i want it. Hundreds of weapons with different stats? That's just annoyingly confusingm, and i dont care for collecting crap like RPGs. Hand-cramping controls? That's just impractical. Mario Kart 7 already gives me the claw! And major difficulty guage - that's just gonna depress me as i don't like not being able to complete a game, and by the looks and sounds of it, most people wont be able to handle it any higher than 6 or 7. I'm not sure i'd want to either. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
