It's actually 8 hours, though I will never understand why battery life is such an issue for some. Pretty sure that every gamer has a micro-USB cable. Just plug it in whenever you're not playing. And even if you have monster gaming session...just charge it while playing There is no way I'd ever run out of battery life with any controller for a home console. Never happened to me and never will (unless there will be a controller with only a max of 5 hours battery life, of course). Same. They can get rid of the light bar and touchscreen but other than that they don't need to change anything. @bob You know what they say about people with large hands. ... ... They need larger controllers. But it's a fair point. I have a huge penis, I mean, I have relatively small hands so the DS4 is fine for me.

It's always been the most comfortable for me Each to his own, I guess.
-
Why? For me, the DS4 is the best controller out there.

Thanks @Tales for the trophy By the way, this is what happens when someone plays a game with you:
-
Same. However, speed runs can be fun if I reeeeaaally enjoy the game. What I also don't like: Missable trophies. Especially in (J)RPGs. If a game takes 50 hours to complete and you miss one collectible that you can't get after a certain point...FUCK YOU Thankfully I'm not really after Platinums anymore. Only if I thoroughly enjoy a game. Examples right now would be Far Cry New Dawn and Crypt of the Necrodancer. The latter, however...probably impossible for me but I'll try. Anyway, speaking of Far Cry New Dawn. I didn't know that...

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019

I still hate it How could I forget that -
If I see you online, I'll invite you to a coop session. I'll probably only have time for the 3 expeditions.
-
Really enjoying Far Cry New Dawn. Haven't played much but I love scavenging, crafting and exploring. Playing on the highest difficulty which makes for some pretty intense battles. Preparation (i.e. recon) is key. @Tales you're playing this, too, aren't you? Would you be up for getting the co-op trophy out of the way sometime? I think it's just a matter of completing three expeditions with a co-op partner.

Going to trade in Black Ops 4 for Far Cry New Dawn today. I'm in the mood for a single player shooter and the game seems right up my alley. Haven't played Far Cry 5 so I'm not bothered by the reimagined map. Apex Legends is all I need for my multiplayer fix so it seems like a good idea to trade in CoD

WOHOOOO. Can't wait to download it when I'm back home. Been holding off playing more of this on my PS4 because I wanted to wait for v1.1, mainly for mob-auto-scaling being removed and damage reduction being reworked (i.e. it's not mandatory anymore to have a chance of survival).

Slowly getting better at this. I'm trying to focus on one or two Legends right now (Bangalore and Mirage) in order to get a lot of practice with their abilities. Seems to work Got a lot of 5-kills-matches last night. Speaking of last night...the "one more game" effect is real. My mate and I just couldn't log off. "Nice, we won. We're on a roll, let's keep going." "Fuck, we got wiped. Can't end this on a bad note." Well...needless to say we played until 3 am.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019

The only thing I want to see is whether this version will keep the weirdness of the original German version or be "censored" like the DX version. This is what I'm talking about: -
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019

Just seen some gameplay videos and I stand by what I said. It's gritty and surreal to me But we can stop now. It's just a matter of taste/opinion. I see, no wonder why I've never seen those before. I only own the "real" original game -
Not bad, not bad. People will be happy. I didn't like the first one for several reasons. The horrible sharing system, for example. They really need to overhaul this.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019

I wish I hadn't seen that...this is horrible It's probably the nostalgia and my experience with the game as a child but for me Link's Awakening always was and will always be surreal and gritty. This cuddly, cutesy look of the remake (and of the pictures above) just isn't for me. I agree now, though, that the art style is very faithful to what the devs intended, but in my opinion it doesn't fit the game. Hell, the style of the pictures above doesn't make any sense to me It's not what little-me was imagining back in the days. -

I'm no stranger to grinding for hours. I'll beat the shit out of you eventually -
So far, my gaming in 2019 is yet again a mishmash of 8 gazillion games and I haven't finished one. Looks like I'm in a slump again. But I do enjoy gaming right now, even though I keep switching games. I'll try to stick with the following for now, though: Apex Legends is the best Battle Royale game out there right now (sorry, Tetris99) and will keep me coming back for a long time. Other than that I mostly use my Vita right now. Downloaded a couple of games that I bought ages ago, now that I have enough storage: Crypt of the Necrodancer Amplified - the DLC finally works and it's bloody amazing. So many great additions (weapons, items, armors, characters, a new Zone with new enemies and bosses). I'm still in awe of how innovative the gameplay is. Rhythm-based-roguelike. I love it Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate - another roguelike. It's part of the Mystery Dungeon series. Haven't spent much time with it but it's very complicated. So many systems are in place...but I like it. Difficult but fair. Chasm - Metroidvania. It's ok. Backtracking is quite tedious. Not sure if I'll finish this one.

Pff, you're not even a Metal Ike. -
For towns I'd agree, but I have to disagree when it comes to the rest. For me there was always a kind of surreal atmosphere and that's missing completely in the remake. It just looks cute and in my opinion it doesn't work. Iif others like it, great. But it's not for me, sadly

Oh, the time they took for polishing this really shows. Can't wait.
-
After the disappointing I am Setsuna and Lost Sphear this better be good. It's also coming out to PC and PS4, by the way. Looks nice so far.
-
Looks good. Platinum rarely disappoints

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019
drahkon replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Rightly so. It doesn't fit the atmosphere of the original at all. To each their own but I really hate the art style. And I was actually really looking forward to a remake of the absolute best Zelda game there is. -
Urgh, they butchered the best Zelda game with those cutesy graphics. Horrible decision. Astral Chain looks incredible. The rest does not interest me at all. Still, apparently it's been a good direct for Switch owners. More games are always good
