  1. Not at all. Nintendo will keep milking their old games for cash.
  2. Here I thought getting a mention in this thread means that Crypt of the Necrodancer is on sale again. Well, it's worth the full price, so you should all buy it anyway.
  3. Haven't seen a thread so...here it is The game is out next week. I haven't been particularly fond of the trailer above (I think it actually was the UI that I disliked), but as the quote says it's work in progress footage. The following gif might represent more recent footage: Anyway, what really convinced me was the very recently released Eurogamer article. It's so simple, yet absolutely genius. I'm so happy we get a new "Burnout" game and I really hope this will get good reviews and equally good coverage. Fingers crossed. Oh, this is already one of the best features:
  4. I've lost all my respect for you.
  5. Excuse me, what?
  6. She just released her first album and it's amazing. She's only 17 and already creates incredible music. Oh yeah, if you don't like spiders, DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO. Watch the following instead:
  7. Feeling like crap. My throat hurts, my head's killing me and I feel feverish. Great way to start the weekend.
  8. Oh, the memories (hehe). Back in the days when you had 1MB (!!!) for saving games
  9. @S.C.G The controller arrived. It's awesome Feels great and the build quality is awesome. Very easy setup. Created profiles for Apex Legends and Path of Exile. I've only remapped the buttons on the back, though. They make the iffy healing controls in Path of Exile much better. I did, however, catch myself using the "normal" buttons instead of the remapped ones on the back in Apex Legends. Guess it'll take some time until the new buttons become natural to use.
  10. The Surge is actually pretty good. If you enjoy the soulsborne games, this could be for you
  11. Urgh, similar to 2DS? I hated the feel of that thing. Too bulky, too sturdy, too urgh...
  12. Looks like it Seeing as my DS4 is usually connected to the PS4 anyways I'd say a wired controller is a good choice. I found the newer version for 100€ online, so I guess this will be the first purchase with my next paycheck Edit: Ordered Thanks again for all the information
  13. Looks like the recent patch broke the game even more. This isn't funny anymore...Bioware's reputation is ruined, I'd say.
  14. Thanks, @S.C.G Is it true that you can't turn on the PS4 with the controller? Also: How easy to reach are the buttons on the back? Aaaaaand how long is the cord? All the standard features (headphone jack, etc) are present, I assume? I may have 100€ to spare next month so I'm thinking of buying a decent controller with more buttons and some customization. The Revolution Pro is currently at pretty much exactly 100€ at a local store and the follow-up version at 117€. I might get one of those (probably going to spend a few bucks more for the second version). There's also a wireless version on the way (I think it'll release this week) but this one comes at 170€. Way too much.
  15. Would you recommend it? Is it easy to set up? How's the build quality?
  16. Maybe @Kav can convince you. Yes, Kav, I will keep mentioning you everytime turn-based is talked about
  17. I'll take a smaller Switch over the current model any day. But it has to be usable as a controller for other Switches.
  18. So, it's that time of the year when Erasmus students are coming to my town and a friendly society (?) I am a part of offers a week full of activities. You know...meeting others, becoming part of a group, parties, etc.. Last semester I was the main responsible for organizing all of it. This time I decided to only focus on the biggest event (Pubcrawl) because of time constraints. This event is tomorrow. Here's the thing: two weeks ago my boss told me that I can't take days off this week. This is also what I told the team organizing the entire shebang many times over the past two weeks. I kept reminding them that I won't be able to put a lot of work into it. During the weekend 1 1/2 weeks ago, I decided to work on some stuff because I knew that I wouldn't be able to until today. I spent 20 hours during the entire weekend (which was the weekend of my mom's birthday, by the way) to prepare documents, book bars and other locations, order drinks, put together a team of 18 people who take care of the challenges during the Pubcrawl, ... I shared this with our team on the Sunday of that weekend. I also created a To-Do list with 14 items (7 of which I finished during the weekend) asking others to take care of the rest. Today I got a message..."So, will you be able to finish all the stuff until tomorrow?" ...I checked the To-Do list and nothing had been done. So now I'm speedrunning through all the crap that needs to be done. Will be interesting to see if they can manage to prepare tomorrow without me, as I will be at work until 5pm and the Pubcrawl starts at 6pm. This is the last time I'm working with this particular team. They have been late with the organization for weeks now... Rant over.
  19. Reached level 15 with my first character and finished Act 1. The game got me hooked. Gameplay is fast, smooth and hella fun. Navigation through menus can use some work, other than that the port is great.
  20. Played this for a bit and holy hell, it seems complex But so far, it's given me everything I want. It's pretty much Diablo II but with much deeper mechanics. Love it.
  21. Half-Genie Hero is the only Shantae game I've played so far. I liked it but thought that some of the backtracking was way too tedious. What's different in Pirate's Curse? Aren't all Shantae games Metroidvanias?
  22. Short, sweet and to the point. Not much new, but I like the style of the video.
  23. Days Gone has really improved.
  24. Edit: I'm too slow.
