6 days later and Oculus support finally reply to my ticket with details and a label for returning my Quest 2, completely ignoring the fact that it’s already been replaced and me asking them to close the ticket. They also didn’t arrange to have it collected but expected me to print off the label and then take it to a dhl drop off point. This company fucking sucks.

The London performance of the Distant Worlds FFVII Remake Concert has finally been rescheduled. It's now gonna be at the Royal Albert Hall, 3rd June 2021 and tickets go on sale tomorrow. I'm definitely going this time.

Bit annoying that demos still appear in your purchased section. Took me ages to figure out why I apparently owned Devil May Cry V.

Yeah I’ve just updated mine. Looks pretty good and much more useable than the old one.

I mean if you want ports of high end games on the Switch then this is how it has to work. It’s an underpowered system that is only going to fall further behind otherwise as the next gen starts up. This seems like a good way for Nintendo gamers to get these games that they wouldn’t be able to otherwise. As for the cloud streaming, apparently it’s a company called Ubitus.

Got a preorder for Watch Dogs Legion as well now. I was planning on holding off a bit on it but a lot of the coverage over the past day has swayed me.

Half Life Alyx is a SteamVR game so wouldn't be natively playable on any Oculus headsets anyway, especially not wireless ones as they won't have enough power. If you want a laptop for gaming that includes VR unfortunately I don't think cheapish will do.

You can play it if you have a link cable to connect it to pc or have a good enough WiFi connection to stream it from pc to the headset.

I've never had any consoles vertical either. I prefer the look of the PS5 horizontally but I think it'll fit nicer next to my TV vertically this time.

Yeah I think they want to try and recreate the same kind of hype Rocket League got and have decided to push it back to get it away from all the big launches.

I’m one of those people that likes to have a lot of games installed on my hard drive at once so I can bounce between them depending on my mood. I’ve had a 2tb drive in my PS4 for years so don’t want to lose that convenience. I also still have quite a few PS4 games that I’ve been holding off on playing because we’re so close to the PS5 now.

What’s everyone’s plans for expanding storage then? I’ll be waiting for Sony to announce what nvme ssds they recommend but going on the price of the new Western Digital 1tb that was just announced that’s the only one confirmed so far to be used with PS5 as well (£239) I’m probably gonna wait until prices go down and just grab an external ssd for my PS4 games.

Currys replaced it immediately today. I should have just done this straight away but I stupidly thought going through the official support page made sense.

Given up on Oculus Support and spoke to Currys instead. They're happy for me to exchange my Quest 2 in store as long as there's stock so I'm gonna head in tomorrow.

I enjoyed the second episode as well, although they style of everything did make me feel like I was watching an episode of Enterprise.

As the PS5 web store is up for us now as well I’ve just added the top ups to my account and preordered Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
