Been wanting to switch to a phone contract from pay as you go for ages now and finally got around to it. Decided to get a new phone at the same time so went with the Samsung Note 20 Ultra. I was really tempted by the new Samsung Z Fold 2 as they seem to have ironed out most of the issues from the first version and I would love to be able to use that bigger screen but the lack of water resistance ended up being a deal breaker. Edit: Also got the Razer Kishi as my old controller won't fit the new phone.

Regardless of who owns what now I'm still expecting to see Skyrim on PS5 and I'm sure that'll be enough for most people.

As someone on Twitter just mentioned, smart to announce this the day before preorders go live.

No I think this was before that. There was nothing really substantial to them, just posts in the middle of forum discussions I think.

I've got to admit, I'm not as bothered by this as I would have expected. Granted I'll still play these games on PC as I always have but after Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 Bethesda just don't really excite me like they once did.

I feel like I'd read rumours that this was one of the acquisitions months ago but I'm not sure.

It will be. Can't think of a time where something like this happened where previous game launches weren't honoured. Psychonauts 2 for example is still multiplatform and that's the same situation.

Anyone been on the trains recently and if so, how are they? I’ve got an urge to maybe go to London for the day at some point but the trip down there is what would concern me.

This is the kind of stuff I’d like to know. Mark Cerny mentioned, possibly during the initial reveal (I’m not sure) that hard drive expansion was expected but they were looking into how with the new SSDs. I’d probably be happy with just external storage and a system that transfer in and out games so the ones you are playing will use the ssd.

Hope we hear some more on hard drive expansions soon. I’ve had a 2tb in my PS4 for years and don’t think I could go back to a smaller hard drive, especially as this time I’m gonna still be playing a load of PS4 games on the 5.

Seeing that new Monster Hunter game announced made me think about a potential sequel to World ever coming to next gen. I’d love to see one building on we got from World and possibly incorporating stuff they’ve learnt from this new game.

I'm still disappointed that they didn't throw in a PlayStation Classic with every PS5 preorder.

This looks so good that it makes me wish I liked Souls games so I could play it. Absolutely gorgeous.

Anyone getting any of the accessories at launch? I almost preordered the headset today as I'm interested to hear all the 3D audio stuff with their official headphones but I figured I can wait and see comparisons between regular ones first.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Fifa games weren't still coming out on PS2
