I just think we've hit a price where people are finding it hard to justify anymore. I absolutely get games are expensive to create and Devs deserve to be paid correctly but I also can't bring myself to pay £70 for a new game. I can't remember the last game I bought at launch. It was already an expensive hobby but now it's just become too expensive for me.

Not a massive fan of the Turtles voices (even though they probably make more sense for teenagers) but the animation style seems cool.

Picard season 3 is just killing it so far this year. Great stuff all around.

Yeah that's why I got that one. Going down to London for a few days next month with Goafer for WASD and wanted to be able to bring something with me that didn't take up the entire bag. Tempted to order some of these and a retractable hdmi cable for the hotel room as well.

Got myself a small retro handheld. Wanted something small and simple that I could just throw in my bag when I'm out. Things like my Steam Deck are just too big and expensive to carry around. As you can see I'm starting with Xenogears on it. Other than the Final Fantasy games the PS1 JRPG library is quite a big gaming hole for me so I'd like to try some.

Update since I last posted. I managed to finally leave the school at the end of last year and now have two temporary positions working from home for a County Council. One doing more data stuff which I could take or leave but the other managing social media/websites and graphic design which I really enjoy. As I said both are temporary at the moment, Data until the end of March and Social Media until the end of May but both jobs are required so the department is pushing hard for them to continue. I'm tempted to not continue the Data one if offered more and start an online design course to get some kind of qualification but not sure yet, need to look more into it. Still, a hell of a lot more happier in work than I was and from the sounds of it, the school I was at is still as big of a mess as ever. Had a few messages this month asking me how to do simple things that I already left in my handover notes.

I could just never get into Bray Wyatt. There's something about him that never clicked for me and then The Fiend just annoyed me. No selling is one of my big wrestling pet peeves so I was happy when he was gone.

I do miss buying a game in Beatties then sitting outside a changing room waiting for my mum to try something on while I read the manual.

Retro consoles and accessories are usually bundled in with the essentials as we all know.
