Happenstance

In a bit of a Star Wars mood again today (and I expect to orrow that will shift to a Star Trek mood!) so I'm tempted to finally pick this up. The Galactic Edition is out now with all the dlc and is discounted on both consoles so I'll probably just get that.

Just finished watching the Power Rangers special, Once & Always. Woof, that was terrible. I know it's trying to emulated the cheesiness of the original but I feel like it was never that bad. The acting in this was genuinely hard to watch, especially Rocky (who I swear was wearing a girdle). The worst part was the music. MMPR always had incredible music that got you hyped and the majority of this was a weird dull, muted remix. I figured at first that they didn't have the rights to the original theme but then they used it at the end on the pointless recap montage!

Season 2 looking like it should be another fun one.

Anyone got any of the Black Series helmets? I'm in the mood for a new project so I'm thinking about getting some to weather a bit and display. At the moment I'm probably going with Mando's and Bo-Katan's but the reason I ask if anyone has them is to check the heights so I know they'll fit on my shelves. I get conflicting info when I Google or use Amazon etc.

I do regret not heading down to the con myself. I was in London the week before with @Goafer for WASD so didn't fancy paying for 2 trips this month. Shame though as it looked like a good time and a lot more focused than the usual cons I go to where you mostly just wander around and occasionally fall into a talk, usually because you feet hurt and you wanted somewhere to sit 😆

I like reading his manga stories but I couldn't get on with that anime version at all when I tried it. From what I've read a lot of people just didn't think it's translated well enough to anime.

Well there we go then, looks like Endeavour have bought WWE and will be merging it with UFC. Vince will be staying on to run the new company with two others. Was really hoping he'd get forced out.

Just did that myself and if we could rename her we'd narrowed it down to Dax or Ezri. In the end she'd had her current name from a previous home and already responded to it so we didn't change it.

Yeah I'd been tempted by the Remarkable before as it seems to have much better features for note taking but the Kindle side won out for me. I think you might have to side load books onto the Remarkable. From what I've read the Scribe isn't amazing feature-wise yet on the note taking side but it's already getting updates to fix some of that so I expect it'll get there.

Got myself the new Kindle Scribe in the Amazon sale. I'm getting back into manga at the moment and the larger screen will be perfect for that. I still plan to buy the nicer hardback editions of some manga but there are just so many others that I'd like to read that I just don't have the space for in a physical collection. I also take a lot more notes than I used to for work so I plan to switch to the scribe for that.

Typical I order this the day after saying I can't remember the last time I bought a game at launch due to costs! Managed to get the digital version a bit cheaper with some discounted PSN store top up cards so that softened the blow a bit. I just found myself really in the mood for some janky, dumb wrasslin and until the AEW game comes out, this is it.
