Yeah I do hope this turns out well. I really liked what I saw of the story in the game but I hated the gameplay so much I never got to see it all so this should be exactly what I needed.

Liverpool are just misunderstood this season. We really are still the best in the league but some teams don't seem to respect that and are actually putting in effort. We shouldn't have to put in effort!

Man U having a fun match so far I see.

Resident Evil has always been a series I enjoy watching other people play but have never liked playing any of them myself.

Anyone ever used Gamemaker to try and build a game? I'm in another one of my creative kicks in the mood for a project and was thinking about trying out Gamemaker through Steam.

I really enjoyed it. It's the kind of show where I don't need an ongoing story and this just felt like a weird one off ep that worked. Especially liked Jen's scene where she talked about She-Hulk.

The sad thing is that out of all the cloud game streaming services I've tried, Stadia was easily the smoothest.

Not actually sure which Phase this falls under so I'll put it here for now.

The Last of Us Part I (2nd September 2022)

I'll put this in here as well as the TV thread. -
Been a while since I've had a new Jackie Chan blu ray to post!

Yeah I did laugh at that. My favourite line ended up being:

Finally got around to watching Thor: Love & Thunder. I thought it was good but not amazing, kind of struggled in the shadow of Ragnarok and I think they went a bit too far with the jokes. Some didn't hit to the point where it felt more embarrassing than anything else. Also thought that Jane's story in this could have used an extra movie to build her up more. Felt like she got the short end of the stick.

I've had the first few episodes downloaded on my phone for ages and never got around to starting it. Really need to. Might do that today actually.

I think DS9 is a much better written show but I have a soft spot for Voyager and it's one of my favourites. As the years went on I developed an appreciation for Janeway as a captain as well which I never had when it originally aired.

Always a good choice. Star Trek is basically on a continuous loop in my house so I'll get back to DS9 eventually. It's Voyagers turn at the moment.

Such an amazin villain. Don't think I've ever hated a bad guy more.

Thought this week's episode of She Hulk was the first dud. Didn't click for me at all.

The Messenger went on sale on Steam this week so I bought another copy to use on my Deck as well.

Yeah I think it is a harder one to compare. Games when downloaded will still play the same while blu rays still tend to be superior to their streamed or digital versions. Plus you still get a load of extras which are mostly unique to physical movie discs. Granted it's not the majority these days but there's still a big enough audience for physical media in movie/TV discs. The recent release of the 1-6 Star Trek movies 4k boxset being an example of this when they released the 1-4 boxset to guage interest and the sales were good enough to justify more (and annoy all the people that bought the 1-4 boxset).

I've definitely almost completely shifted to digital only for my PS5. Obviously did it years ago on PC but it took me this long to do it for console. It was mostly the cheaper price of physical games that kept me buying them.

I'll be interested to hear more about that, sounds like an odd change but if it makes consoles easier to repair it could be good.
