Happenstance

Just finished watching the new episode. It was so nice having Tennant back! Matt Smith is still my favourite Doctor but Tennant is a close second and I haven't really enjoyed the show in years, couldn't stand Capaldi's Doctor and Jodie Whittaker's Doctor was good but the writing for her was terrible.

I love foldables. The only reason I moved away from the Z Fold 3 was that I thought the software still needed optimising and figured it would take another generation or two. I was planning on waiting until the Z Fold 6 but I got my 3 out the other day to test a website on Android and it just felt great to use again, plus there did seem to have been a good deal of work done on the software side since I last used it. The iPhone experience is great but it's not interesting or new and that's what I like in my tech. As I said, after that I looked at the Fold 5 for a bit until I came across a review on the OnePlus Open after that and seeing it's Black Friday discount I couldn't help myself.

I don't really know what it is. I know from various recaps etc that I like the stories from them but I've just never been able to stick with any animated Star Wars show that I've started.

I started it a year or so ago but it was another one that never really could keep my attention. I struggle with Star Wars animated shows.

Rogue One and Ahsoka were both great, Andor never really clicked for me.

I tried making the switch over to iPhone earlier this year and found it fine but in the end I really did find myself missing Android and especially foldables. I was originally going to look at getting the Samsung Z Fold 5, an upgrade from my old Z Fold 3 until I saw a review of the new OnePlus Open and I was really impressed so decided to try it out as it was in the Black Friday sale.

If it keeps quality throught the whole show I'd recommend using a free trial once it's all done.

Just finishing up the second episode of Monarch : Legacy of Monsters. Really enjoying it so far, even without the Godzilla connection it just seems really interesting.

Thinking about maybe picking up Gran Turismo 7 and Diablo IV in the black friday sale

I think any potential new Spider-Man movie could also be dependent on if these rumours about Secret Wars are true and the direction that's being taken.

Yeah the Fantastic Four one with FOX definitely was. The Sony one is a bit harder to know given they work with Marvel on the mainline Spider-Man movies as well. I just don't know what to think about it all really. The idea of it turning into some kind of Spider-verse like movie at the end could be cool but having Spider-Man appear later (or never) just doesn't help anything. Venom is worse without Spider-Man, the less we talk about Morbius the better and Kraven just looks a bit crappy.

Another Spider-man related character without the connection to Spider-man in the movie. These are all so weird to me.

Given how late I came to DS9 after release I'm amazed I basically went into the show blind.

I may have also got a few more omniboo. It's a good thing I pay for these over time and not the full price straight away otherwise I'd be screwed.

Yeah Connor was annoying but he was involved in my favourite quote from the show: “Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh and cruel. But that's why there's us. Champions. It doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world was what it should be, to show it what it can be.”

I still remember with Buffy season 5

Season 3 was always my favourite from all of Buffy. Despite how much of a fan I was back in the day I’d probably say I actually prefer Angel now. It had its issues but I really liked the story it tried to tell about redemption and carrying on fighting regardless. Some may not like it’s finale but I really liked the fact that this kind of stuff doesn’t just end and all you can really do is keep fighting.

I’m just about to move onto the Batman/TMNT omnibus so I’m glad to hear that other crossover was good.

It's not too hard, Go Go and MMPR have now ended and were replaced with "Mighty Morphin" and "Power Rangers". If you get them in deluxe then they're both collected together so it saves having to get two titles. First one comes out next month.

I'm starting to run out of space again for my Marvel collection

I got really into both series over the last year or so. I've got all the Power Rangers deluxe editions I can get (some just go out of print for years) and then vol.1-10, the Last Ronin and Batman/TMNT omnibus for the Turtles. Oh and vol.1 of the original Turtles run omnibus which I was surprised how much I enjoyed.
