Happenstance

The COD stuff could just be that the successful start for the Switch caught Activision off guard and it'll be on the Switch next time. Has made me wonder though if they wanted to avoid any issues with the online service. I don't think I would want to launch a game which is known more for its multiplayer on a system where so little is known still regarding the online services.

Interesting to see the stuff happening with Superman at the moment.

No its just a fun game. There's been a lot of hype for a while, nothing to do with it being on Switch. Quite a few gamers imported it last year, maybe the year before (I cant remember which).

Might have to get that. Its been on my list for a while to get for the retro collection.

Its not the second season. There are two versions of FMA. The first one just called Fullmetal Alchemist which started with the manga but then overtook it so started telling its own story. Brotherhood came later and basically just follows the manga. Brotherhood speeds few a couple of things at the beginning, assuming that people saw the original but you would be just fine watching Brotherhood first. I recommended that one because I think its got the better overall story.

I still need to get back to Steins Gate on my Vita. I started it ages ago but didnt get all that far. I need to really be in the mood for visual novels. If I am then I'll fly through them, if not it can take me years to complete them!

Just have to hope that it doesnt end up also being a 3DS title as well.

Persona 4 :p

4 is the start of the switch, 5 is where they understand where they are. I dont care about cars at all but I'd still recommend watching them from the beginning. There are so many small nods in the movies to whats come before and you need to understand THE FAMILY!

I'm looking forward to seeing 8 at some point. Not got around to it yet. I've recently rewatched all the others though as Giant Bomb have been doing commentaries for all of them which have been great.

I definitely recommend it. One of my all time favourite shows.

Have you seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood?

Been informed today that my development department at the school is most likely going to be merged this summer with the marketing department. This would have me back working under the same marketing woman as last year that basically left me a depressed mess and forced me to reduce my hours to part time so I wont be staying. I've already been looking for a new job but I'll be stepping up the search now as once this happens, job or no job I'll be leaving.

Or you know, that's just how his experience went. There is no right or wrong way to play a game. It took me 35 hours to complete which would have been over a weekend as well if I hadn't spread my sessions out.

Looks like the next X-Men movie has officially been named X-Men: Dark Phoenix. I really hope they do a better job with it than X-Men 3 and don't stick to the idea that its simply Jean Grey's own power. The fact that it was codenamed Supernova for months at least gives me hope that it could at least partially be set in outerspace and include the part of the story where she destroys a solar system. http://www.cbr.com/x-men-dark-phoenix-title/

I'm planning on watching it at some point. @Goafer was telling me about it last week and it sounded good.

Just noticed on my profile page I seem to be set to Offline but when I view my settings it shows I should be viewable as online. Checking my friends list about 6 of them now show as offline instead of saying how long ago they last came on. Is anyone else getting this?

I really like the console but it definitely needs the games to back that up. As I've said before, they need a great E3 showing this year to keep things going.

Finally starting to play Horizon. I was planning on waiting until I completed Persona 5 but those games tend to take me forever to get through despite how much I love them so I figured there was no point waiting.

I already have Wing Commander III on PC so I know its a decent game anyway which is why I got it. But Mark Hamill was part of that original purchase yes lol. A few other cheap games came with it, the usual Fifa and Madden stuff you get with every ebay console! I've got Shock Wave 2 and Return Fire on the way. After that I'll get the big ones like The Need For Speed and Road Rash but I love crappy FMV games so I'm going to be keeping an eye out for those.

Did you ever read the stuff pre-nu52 with Damian and Stephanie Batgirl? That always had a nice sibling feel to it as well.

I keep trying to get back into DC every now and again but then nothing seems to keep me interested. I keep hoping everytime they start to move further away from the Nu52 it'll draw me back in but unfortunately it doesnt last.
