When we do make the move, would it be worth (you may have to anyway so forgive my ignorance) a general email to all members telling them about it? A fresh start might be a way to get back some members who have left over the years.

I see Kinda Funny Games have announced Andrea Rene and Danny O'Dwyer will be joining them for a daily morning games show. I dont tend to watch a lot of Kinda Funny's stuff but Danny O'Dwyer is always someone I enjoy watching/listening to (mainly when he would appear on a lot of Giant Bomb stuff) so I'll probably have to check it out. Andrea Rene I've only ever really known through John Drake (her husband, ex Harmonix now working at Sony) but I was already planning on listening to the new podcast Whats Good Games with her and a few other industry women so I'm sure I'll check out her days on this new show as well.

Did you ever try deleting and reinstalling the game? Having something that bad happen multiple times seems more like a corrupted installation than anything. Glad to say I've never had any issues with emulation on other systems and I would be much better if Nintendo worked on emulators for each Nintendo system and not per game. I think it was OK on the Wii at the beginning but I dont think they can keep taking so long on each system without losing goodwill which tends to be in short supply these days.

Ended up buying all the Spider-Man Epic Collections I could as well along with Spider-Man Blue. This Amazon sale is dangerous!

If anyone else reads comics digitally its worth checking out Amazon's Marvel kindle sale at the moment. Lots of cheap graphic novels that also link to Comixology accounts. Just finished the story mode. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. It just all felt a bit pointless. I know I've been spoilt by NetherRealms fighting games but there was very little point to anything happening in this. Not one I would ever bother replaying. Thankfully of course that doesn't mean I wont still be able to get a lot out of the game...

I still just alternate between Simply Games and The Game Collection depending on who has it cheaper. Simply Games have messed me about more on shipping though, marking items as despatched and then nobody receiving the games for days.

My copy just arrived with the fight stick. 500mb update to download though which at current PSN speeds will apparently take over 1hr 30. Just ridiculous.

Looks like it could be a good alternative forum software. I'd be happy enough with the move. Changing things up could be interesting after all these years.

To be honest this isnt exactly much of a shock. This is Nintendo after all (or Hori but still). This stuff has sounded like a mess since we heard they'd be using an app. Its stuff like this which means I absolutely wont be paying any online fee they decide to charge. I'll just stick to playing online games elsewhere as with previous generations.

I've had a lot of "This site can't be reached. Connection reset." errors today.

PSN speeds seem worse again lately. I was downloading 8 gigs overnight and when I got up it had only done 5 (I can usually get about 10 gigs done in a night on my connection) and again now ive got about 8 gigs left on a Street Fighter V patch and its estimating 17 hours.
