  1. Totally out of the blue, Fahrenheit has been remastered and released on Steam: [Fahrenheit on Steam] [Official website] I'll probably check this out.
  2. Now available on Steam.
  3. Iron Giant is up for pre-order. Limited edition is sold out, but regular edition is still available. [site]
  4. Don't want to sound like an old nag.. But I do want to bring up continuity again. Aneres already established our protagonist did in fact already kill someone else. Do we care about continuity? If we do, we may want to get more organised about it, with timelines or such. If not, than forget I said anything :p.
  5. I knew it. I killed it. Anyway, just a heads-up, I probably don't have the time to do another one within the next 9 days. If you want, you can keep me in the order, and if it's my time, I'll see if I can squeeze in an attempt, or otherwise I'll let you know as quickly as possible to pass it on.
  6. Actually looks decent for a F4F figure. http://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,130
  7. I don't want to spoil the game, so I'm not watching any more videos. But about the rewind aspect, I can't remember where I read it, but it was a conscious decision. I suspect the limit is that you can only rewind the previous action, and not one you made a lot earlier in the game. You can see the immediate outcomes of all options, then choose the best one. It's similar in that regard to choosing a previous save (or the rewind function of Telltale games), except in this game it's part of the story and your playthrough. The point is that eventually, you have to commit to your decisions, and what the best course of action is, is relative, and not always clear as this is an episodic game.
  8. I took my drink, and walked to a quiet corner of the bar. Well, most of the bar was quiet, it was still early. But for some people, it's never too early of course. People like me. People like him. I'm a regular here, but I've never seen him before. We glared at eachother for a while, before he tried to ignore me. I had the waitress bring him a drink to get his attention again. Finally he walked up to me. We glared some more at each other, before I say "Take a seat". He reluctantly did so. I take the torn page I found on the tree out of my pocket, and hand it over. "What's the meaning of this?", I asked. "I think you know more about it than I do", he answered. "If that were the case, I wouldn't have followed you to this bar. What were you doing at the cabin?" "I..", he stumbles. He was visibly terrified. I wondered if I'll get much out of him. I was already contemplating what to do with him to.. encourage him. I guessed I should start with a warning. "If you've done anything to her, I swear you'll pay for it. Start talking either way." "I have little to say. My life is forfeit anyway." "And why would you say that?", I ask. "Because you're a murderer."
  9. Ok, so it's past morning. Anyway, I wish people payed more attention to continuity, as I now have to figure out why there is a barman in that guys condo.. But I'll figure something out. edit: never mind, didn't read it all the way through yet. edit: who's next, @S\.C\.G?
  10. I'll get on it tonight tomorrow morning by the way. Edit: Sorry, I'm tired.
  11. 34 film tickets (and counting), for the upcoming International Film Festival Rotterdam. This includes tickets for the latest and final Ghibli film, and Frank amongst others.
  12. Link attacked by a bunch of Kirbys!
  13. Is that a good or a bad thing? :p I was considering running it by you first, since you're the editor-in-chief and all. Don't want to give others a hard time!
  14. Hope you like it, @MoogleViper.
  15. I closed the door, and examined the room. Nothing immediately struck me as odd, well apart from her not being there. Despite knowing better, I checked every closet in the cabin. I even checked under the bed.. Of course she was nowhere to be found. She's not known for playing silly games. I was slightly getting worried. There's nothing of interest in the immediate area. If she left to go to the village, I would have met her half way. But she wouldn't leave the fire burning. Maybe she went to the forest to collect firewood? But she had plenty supply left.. There was nothing left for me to do but wait, and hope she returned. As I sat myself into her armchair, a black book on the table besides it got my attention.. I picked it up, and flicked through it, but all the pages were blank. It was at that point the fire stopped burning. All went dark, save for some moonlight shining through the window. I put the book back on the table, and despite the scarce light, I was able to find some matches and light the few candles in the room. Once again I sat myself in the armchair, and once again I noticed the black book besides me.. The book I was sure I closed before I put it back on the table. The book I was sure all pages of it were blank, or at least the pages I've seen. Two words could now be read on the left page: "save me".
  16. Yeah, I was just casually checking the site out, Shovel Knight was up, which was right after this one, so I just missed it. But I heard from the comments that it was insane. Seeing it now, it was insane . Shovel Knight was cool too. Some of the developpers were there, and it was fun to hear their comments and reactions to the speedrun. The guy playing managed to actually impress them . I'm interested to see Kaizo Mario world, I'll check if that's on Youtube.
  17. I also finished The vanishing of Ethan Carter. I found it to be a shorter but better game than Murdered: soul suspect. It's funny how those 2 games look so different at first sight, but are actually pretty similar. I actually liked the puzzles, had no problems with them. Loved the artstyle and setting, everything looked beautiful. Really loved the fairytale aspects
  18. This arrived today: I rarely read / buy books, but I remember it being recommended in the general book thread here on N-Europe. Decided to finally give it a go!
  19. What do people consider a "decent" price for Little Mac? Those who are willing to pay € 35,-, can get him on [the German Amazon]. Oh one here for € 24,- on [FNAC] (I'm almost inclined to go for it myself). Edit: By far the cheapest I can find, but no idea if they ship to Europe. But it's 1850 yen, and I think even with the forwarding costs that'll be cheaper. [reseller on Japanese Amazon] Edit: Wii fit trainer for € 16,- on [Yesasia]
  20. Holy shit, Transistor is pure eye and ear candy.. I want all merchandise from their store.
  21. I'll test my writing skills. It's funny, I also had a collaborative story project in mind, but I had (well, have) a different angle.
  22. If only you were a few days earlier..
  23. Apparently this Play-Doh toy is causing some controversy:
  24. Last few purchases: Zeno clash (just 1 for now), Long live the queen, and finally, To the moon. This is by far the most I've spent in my 5 years on Steam, but Sonar was the most responsible for that achievement. Was yet again considering Skyrim, but I figured I'll buy it later this year on retail.
