  1. How did you get it? US proxy? [tweet]713255960068775937[/tweet]
  2. Crap, would probably have made use of this.. (closed down earlier for outside UK).
  3. Maybe something wrong with the network chip..? Check your device manager? Have you done a proper virus scan?
  4. Square Enix Easter surprise box:
  5. I loved the ending actually. I'll post an elaborate update later.. Haven't seen that much films since the internation film festival Rotterdam almost 2 months ago, but I'm slowly catching up.
  6. Didn't bother to check the other film threads? :P Check these two: My favourites from 2013 and 2014 posted here. My favourites from 2015 posted here. See you next week . I'll have to think about films from before 2013, as I have a bad memory, so I'd like to check lists, but I've been keeping those since the last few years. Just some (of many) that spring to mind: 12 Monkeys Pan's labyrinth The host Let the right one in Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain I'll go check some lists on the internet to help me jog my memory. Edit: @drahkon Have you seen The one I love? I suspect you'll like it. Don't read anything about it.
  7. It's a shame Spider-man appears all over the internet now, but it's not a big deal. I'm hyped. I have an iron will, and will not watch the trailer. Edit: Better close my eyes when I'm going to see Batman vs Superman vs Wonderwoman.
  8. Didn't see it the first time around either. Stealing these from another site. Something else..
  9. Crap, they nerfed mimic beacons. I hacked one of those security scanner things once.. Got to hack a sectopod as a reward .
  10. Did I actually say that? Well, I've played The walking Dead 1 & 2, Game of Thrones, The wolf amongst us, and Tales of the Borderlands, and Life and Strange and Dreamfall Chapters to name 2 non-Telltale games in a similar vein. Dreamfall chapters is stil going on. If you don't have season 2 of The walking dead, and you loved the first one, then that should be a logical next step.. Like I've said, I personally wasn't to big a fan of The wolf amongst us, but I'm in the minority here. If you want choice & consequence, get the Witcher games. If you want something more relaxing and episodic, I'd seriously get both Tales from the Borderlands and Life is strange, and later get season 2 of the walking dead and the wolf amongst us. I believe even the fans are disappointed with Minecraft, but I have no first hand experience with that one. Again, get both Tales from the Borderlands and Life is strange (collector's edition available!). If you need to make a choice: Tales from the Borderlands has better writing (dialogue) and a better voicecast. It's incredibly funny, something you missed with the Walking dead and Game of thrones. It's my personal favourite Telltale game. Life is strange still has a good story, and a good voicecast. But it has more actual gameplay. You can roam around more, and click on everything. It has a much better constructed world. And you don't often get to play a girl in highschool setting. The atmosphere is incredible. And the "editing" is better, the episodes feel like actual episodes. And it has a great score. I'd have a hard time choosing between the 2, but I think Life is strange has a edge over Borderlands in this.. Max is just too adorable. But seriously get both. And give Dreamfall chapters a look, it's (so far) better in the choice & consequence department, and also has more actual gameplay (it's a sequel in a series of point & click games afterall), though the engine could use some work. I've not been able to play the latest episode since they updated the engine. There's only one episode left to release.
  11. Never finished Black & White.. Must re-install it sometime.
  12. I remember them somewhat cheaper, perhaps it was just the UK? If I remember correctly, they were (mostly) between ƒ 129,- and ƒ 149,-, with some exceptions.. Roughly between € 60,- and € 70,-. And every excuse to break out the old ƒ.
  13. Ha.. Link appears for me too.. I'll go find out what that's all about. Edit: Can't find an official statement quickly (Link or Zelda + Google maps generate a lot of hits), but speculation indicates it's simply to celebrate the 30th anniversary.
  14. I'm likely to run a game later tonight on mafiascum, and was revisiting this thread.. Thinking about it, it may be a nice balance change. Have a focus shot beat a dodge, but let people who are shooting each other still duel it out.. I'm working on a new version of the game, so I'll think about it.
  15. I've used a forwarding service for the previous 3. Ordered directly from Amazon, so my Nendoroids were "untainted" by resellers.. I prefer it that way. Price was comparable to ordering a normal Nendoroid, because I didn't have to pay taxes. This one will be more expensive, since it's a duopack. Anyway, when pre-orders are up, I'll try to explain the process if you want to know.. Basically, you order from Amazon, but use the shipping address of your forwarder. I use Big in Japan. Apart from the address, you order as you'd normally do (using a credit card). Then with Big in Japan specifically, you order what they call a forwarding ticket, which covers the forwarding fee, but not the shipping to you. It's 500 yen though, not breaking the bank. This is also where you're letting them know they're getting a package they need to forward. Then when they get the package, you get an invoice for the shipping, and that's it. There are other forwarders, and you could also use a proxy service (some stores provide both services). If you don't mind someone else handling your items, you use a proxy service to have them buy the Nendoroid, and you simply order from there, and they ship it to you. I have no experience with proxies (yet). If ordering from a Japanese site is to daunting, you could wait for it to appear on the US Pokemon store website.
  16. Yeah, they're all available, though I do hope they take the opportunity to sort out RE5 on Steam. Some time ago, they made the excellent decision to remove Games for Windows Live from RE5, and add the DLC that was available to the console versions.. Bought the DLC, and clocked in another 70 hours or so, on top of the 20-30 I already had.. Even finished professional, something I never bothered with with RE4 (I probably should some day). Then, for some reason, they "patched" it, and broke the game.. It seems they brought some form of GFWL back in. There's an unofficial 3rd party patch, but I prefer something official. I really had fun with RE5. RE6 on the other hand..
  17. I'd need to pay taxes if I order from Amazon.co.uk, so please stay.. Also, if you don't stay, admins need to ban everyone from the UK.
  18. I don't visit Neogaf.. I have no idea how their collective taste compares to mine..
  19. I'm definitely getting it then, though probably not right away. Love the artstyle and character designs (obviously).
  20. So.. Danganronpa, I have merchandise of it, but I'm not familiar with the gameplay from the source material.. Is it fun? Any vague resemblences to Ace attorney?
  21. 23-02-2016 € 15,- Available on Steam with a 10% discount.. But not yet on Telltale's own store.
  22. Yeah, I thought we had a thread.. This is the first non-indie game I've bought close to launch in a long time. First of all, I'm not playing Iron man mode. Yeah, boo hiss etc. haha. You don't get the option for iron man mode when you play the tutorial, and I wanted to play the tutorial because I want to see all of the game (it contains some story). I was expecting the option to turn up after the tutorial, but I didn't know when it ended, and apparently, it never does. Since I already had trouble with the 2nd tutorial mission, I decided to just keep playing with saves, and start a proper iron man mode after this learning experience.. I was adamant at playing iron man mode in the previous game, which is why I never finished it (yet), but X-com 2 seems to be harder.. Concealment is a nice new feature which makes things a bit easier, but then it throws a lot at you to over compensate, haha. The first mission in the previous game had like 4 or 6 sectoids or something? In pairs of 2? Here, the first mission thows several advent soldiers at you if you're not careful, plus a mind controlling sectoid.. Anyway, what are your favourite tactics? Moments? Classes? - One tip I got was that mimic beacons are great. Mimic beacons are indeed great.. I now bring three along. - I love superior repeaters for classes that don't really require more useful (not dependent on chance) weapon upgrades.. I love executing sectopods at full health. My best ranger and my 2 specialists have repeaters. - My blademaster ranger is underwhelming.. It sounded cool, but I don't really see the point. My phantom is my hero on the other hand, I should train more. - Can't decide between auto-loaders or expended magazines for my snipers.. Expended magazine is great with kill zone, but free reloads are handy in generall. - Advanced warfare center is great, build one as soon as possible (before any other buildings). I built it a bit late, so I don't have many bonus perks, but the ones I got work wonders. Cover fire overwatch on one of my snipers, and chain shot on one of my specialists.. My current squad is a phantom ranger, a heavy gunner grenadier, 2 sniper sharpshooters, and 2 medical support specialists, although one of them is equipped to deal with hacking, the other is the actual medic. I'm considering retraining the hacker to choose some of the other hacking abilities, especially the one that lets you hack units. I should probably use grenades more though.. Didn't use them much last game, don't use them much now, though I have a grenadier ready specialised in demolition. It is funny to blow up a building and see enemies fall to their death. I probably should also try out the gunslinger, I heard great things about it. Anyone up for a N-europe character pool by the way? I recreated myself in the game (as far as the options allow).. Might be fun to have a bunch of N-europe people on my ship (the few of you playing this). Edit: Fun fact: the cover is a nightmare for trypophobists. Personally, I love the cover.
  23. Finally bought, downloaded, and played this yesterday. Holy shit dude.. This game's deep. . Damn, that
  24. Zelda from Wind waker, included for completeness. This was really high on my overall wishlist, so instant pre-order obviously. The "real" Ash and Gary.. I'll get it, but this is the 3rd version of trainer Red, there are plenty of other Nintendo characters that should get figures.. Kirby's ally / enemy, it's Meta Knight. Also instant pre-order. Speaking of Kirby, they announced a re-release a week before it's release.. Kirby must be really popular. Want a Dedede as well. This one's weird.. It's a Megaman nendoroid in Megaman X style.. I'll reserve final judgement until I see the final product, but at this point I'm not interested. Unlike the oldskool Megaman, I have no nostalgia feelings for this one, as I never played Megaman X, I don't really like the design, and I don't think the design translates well to Nendoroid form (it's more suited to be a figma, if it already didn't get a figma). But who knows, maybe the final product looks amazing. Link figure in Skyward sword style.. Really not liking this, reminds me of the First 4 figures figures (ehh) for some reason (though this will be a lot cheaper). Link figma in Twilight princess style.. Almost guaranteed to skip this one like I usually skip the figmas. Elise from the new Fire emblem. As I'm not familiar with the character (yet), I missed this one, but Ike's link brought it to my attention.. Getting this as well. Samus zero suit figma.. Just like Link, most likely going to skip this, but as I already have the power suit Samus figma, there's a slightly bigger chance I may get it after all. I'll post other non Goodsmile Nintendo stuff from Wonfest as I find it. And my Kirby has arrived..
  25. After 10 days of films, I can finally catch up on internet stuff.. Wonfest has ended, I'm looking at the announcements now, but the first thing to catch my eye: Edit: I'll post more later obviously, Tetra is only the tip of the iceberg I suspect.. I'm seeing several other stuff, like a Metaknight nendoroid..
