Finally bought, downloaded, and played this yesterday. Holy shit dude.. This game's deep. . Damn, that

Zelda from Wind waker, included for completeness. This was really high on my overall wishlist, so instant pre-order obviously. The "real" Ash and Gary.. I'll get it, but this is the 3rd version of trainer Red, there are plenty of other Nintendo characters that should get figures.. Kirby's ally / enemy, it's Meta Knight. Also instant pre-order. Speaking of Kirby, they announced a re-release a week before it's release.. Kirby must be really popular. Want a Dedede as well. This one's weird.. It's a Megaman nendoroid in Megaman X style.. I'll reserve final judgement until I see the final product, but at this point I'm not interested. Unlike the oldskool Megaman, I have no nostalgia feelings for this one, as I never played Megaman X, I don't really like the design, and I don't think the design translates well to Nendoroid form (it's more suited to be a figma, if it already didn't get a figma). But who knows, maybe the final product looks amazing. Link figure in Skyward sword style.. Really not liking this, reminds me of the First 4 figures figures (ehh) for some reason (though this will be a lot cheaper). Link figma in Twilight princess style.. Almost guaranteed to skip this one like I usually skip the figmas. Elise from the new Fire emblem. As I'm not familiar with the character (yet), I missed this one, but Ike's link brought it to my attention.. Getting this as well. Samus zero suit figma.. Just like Link, most likely going to skip this, but as I already have the power suit Samus figma, there's a slightly bigger chance I may get it after all. I'll post other non Goodsmile Nintendo stuff from Wonfest as I find it. And my Kirby has arrived..

After 10 days of films, I can finally catch up on internet stuff.. Wonfest has ended, I'm looking at the announcements now, but the first thing to catch my eye: Edit: I'll post more later obviously, Tetra is only the tip of the iceberg I suspect.. I'm seeing several other stuff, like a Metaknight nendoroid..

Just placed the order.. I'll get it Tuesday. Played X-com for 150 hours, and didn't even finish it, haha. Last campaign I made it to the final ship. Always wanted to try Enemy within, but with the sequel out now, I don't think I'll bother anymore.

I've been keeping my eye on this, but I don't think I'm in the mood to play another Rogue-like anytime soon. I absolutely love the style though.. That narration is fucking fantastic. I want someone like that to follow me and narrate whatever I'm doing.

The big short ♥♥♥♥♥ Probably the last regular films I'll see before the festival starts (other films will have to wait). Just like Baboo, I loved it. Absolutely love the style, and the film's tongue-in-cheek and self-awareness humour. Lots of 4th wall breaking. I wasn't sure how you'd make something as boring as the financiel market interesting, but they nailed it. Steve Carrell is great.

It's 9 days actually (or 10 days if had a ticket for the opening film).. And even though I can watch 6 films on a day easily, doing an average of 4 films a day, 9 days in a row is going to be tiring, but also a lot of fun. This film festival is basically my holiday each year. I pay more than I'd like :p. It used to be cheaper, but now I pay 18 euros for a discount pass, and then 8 euros a ticket. Without a discount it's 11 euros. You can go much cheaper by simply buying last minute tickets, but this won't get you into the popular screenings, so I like to play it safe and order most of my tickets in advance. I'll make use of the last minute tickets for the few gaps I have in my schedule. And I get a free ticket from work (whoo!).

I'm not sure if I'm eligible for amazon prime (UK).. Thought it seems to allow me to sign up. Regardless, if the series is as good as I hear it is, I prefer to get it on Blu-ray eventually, rather then stream it in low-quality.

I'm picking mine up tomorrow! Edit: Forgot to reply by the way. I keep 'm. If I have to move, I have a guaranteed safe way of transporting them. If I ever want to sell them, or more likely, if I die and my future kids will inherit all my Nendoroids (..and eroge figures), they'll be more valuable. I may change that policy if my number of figures exceeds a yet to be determined threshold, and I actually don't have the space for them, but until then, the boxes stay.

I've heard great things about it.. Was considering this as one of my blind-buys, when I can spare the money.

Bought 36 film tickets (the race is on guys :P) for IFFR. I decided to skip most of the high(er) profile films, I know a lot of them will have a regular release anyway. I can watch The assassin and Anomalisa at the end of the month for example. But I am going to watch Room and High-Rise for example, oh and Green room, to name a few more known films. Room especially I guess, with the Oscar nominations. Films festival starts wednesday, in the days before I'll try to catch up on the regular programming while I can (it's hard during the festival, most cinemas in Rotterdam take part). The likes of The Danish girl and The Revenant and such. For those interested, this is what I'll be watching: https://iffr.com/nl/account/8aac3e04-db42-47fe-9a0a-2f60229e926f/agenda I'll post updates on the regular films, and after the festival (and during if I can find the time), I'll post my favourites.

Remove One Letter From A Game And Create New Description

To the moo - Cow herding simulator. Remember M - Trivia quiz. -
Like I 've said before.. I think I'm pretty done with Figmas.. I was maybe going to give Motoko another chance to win me over, but I don't know. That said.. I do love this shot: Combined with the fact I could use some of the accories with the Nendoroids even if I don't like the Figma. Hmm.. Speaking of the Nendoroid, it's delayed until April. Megaman has been shipped, and Kirby will be shipped end of the month.

New X-Files Series Is Coming. I Believed!
Sméagol replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Reviews apparently aren't great (.. quite the contrary I believe, but I haven't looked into it much). Still looking forward to it though. It'll be one of the few things I'll watch on traditional television this year, and the first thing in years I'll watch on a commercial network. -
Joy ♥♥♥♥♥ Interesting story, pretty enjoyable but not remarkable. And the beginning is too hyperactive. But the ending was pretty satisfying. Star Wars: the force awakens ♥♥♥♥♥ Unfortunately I must say the Dolby Cinema experience is not noticeably better than say, an Imax experience. I think the image was somewhat clearer, but if I need a side-by-side comparison to be sure.. The chairs were great though, I'll give 'm that. The hateful eight ♥♥♥♥♥ Enjoyable, but in hindsight, also not very remarkable: I'm in no hurry to see it again. Unlike the Dolby Cinema above though, the 70mm experience was great. I mean, technically I can't compare as I didn't see the normal version, but the image looked awesome. Back to the film: some good dialogue and a fun story, but would have liked a somewhat bigger scope.. More outdoor scenes for example. I had no problem with the runtime though.. While it was longer than Django unchained, I didn't feel the film, unlike Django, was too long. I can see why Jennifer Jason Leigh got an Oscar nomination by the way, she was great. The hunger games: Mockingjay part 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ An abysmal ending to a series I actually enjoyed in the beginning. This is why you shouldn't split films right in the middle. I saw the previous one over a year ago, I could've used a recap. Plenty things didn't make sense even regardless of the lack of buildup and character development though. So much senseless dramatisation.. No proper send-off for certain characters. Boring action. Bah.

I'd say I often play games mostly for the story. I'll probably pick this up sooner than later (you don't happen to know the download size?).

I was browsing the Steam store, and this looks pretty cool: http://nightschoolstudio.com/oxenfree/

So yeah, I kept hearing about how good this was, and that you shouldn't google the story.. Well I wasted a lot of time watching all 10 episodes of this. The story is interesting, but really doesn't warrant an 10 episode documentary series. It doesn't help that I really can't stand listening to any of the Avery family, or that Brendan is such a retard I want bash my skull against my desk, or that that guy Len who is so unqualified to be a defense attorney that I want to punch him. To name a few things. The most interesting stuff came from the 2 defense attorneys of Steven. But put me in the camp who thinks both are innocent (although I haven't read anything about stuff that wasn't in this documentary). That phone call Steven makes to his then fiancee while supposedly raping and murdering that woman at the same time, he really didn't sound like he was in the middle of something. I also don't think Steven is competent enough to clean his entire house of all bloodstains and other evidence. Especially while at the same time forgetting to adequately deal with the car. Doesn't add up. And Brendan really doesn't look like he has the character to go through with any raping and murdering.. I think he'd freeze up in that situation. Anyway, I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think they'd have had a case against both Steven and Brendan, if Brendan didn't fuck up his testimonies. It reminded me of this:

Out of fucking nowhere: Although apparently it isn't a direct sequel.. Nonetheless, I'm excited.

Pokemon Red, Blue & Yellow (3DS Virtual Console)
Sméagol replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It takes slightly more effort, but I wouldn't call it hard. I've bought all 3 Pokemon Nendoroids directly from Amazon, using a forwarder. I had to pay a forwarding fee and some extra shipping costs, but on the other hand, I didn't need to pay taxes, so it cost me the same amount of money as a regular Nendoroid. You should check this thread more often: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7985&page=24 -
I got Chibi Robo for Christmas by the way.. My first Amiibo. I wish there was more Chibi Robo merchandise though.
-
But it won't let me plug my controller into my computer . I was looking at this thing, and I may still get one at some point.
-
Yeah, to me, that's the most annoying part, but the resistance itself is also annoying, but I can set set the resistance to low on my controller, so it's neglible. The X-box one elite controller's triggers are perfect. As for the driver.. I don't have a Wii U controller (or any other wireless controller). I'd prefer getting an adapter for my wii classic controller pro, which is was something I was considering along with the X-box controller.

If they're analogue, I haven't noticed. Let me put it this way: I don't want the clicky Gamecube style analogue controllers.

I haven't watched the full video yet, but those Mario Maker levels are amazing. Incredibly fun to watch some pro players tackle some difficult levels where I'd definitely need more lives then they're using :P.
