There seems to be an officialy trailer out now for Arrival, but I'm not going to watch it (or post it). Something else: I have no idea what the fuck is going on. The plot synopsis doesn't make it any clearer.. But it looks cool. Edit: I just watched the red band trailer, and it actually alludes more to stuff from the plot synopsis.. Still though, not sure what's going on, haha. Here it is:

Just had a quick go.. And it looks good, sounds good, and plays very well. Controls don't feel as tight as zero mission or fusion, but I think it's more due to my controller than the mechanics. But they're good enough for me to sequence break my way to the spiderball before I got the bombs. Like I said, it's been a very long time since I've played Metroid 2, so I can't remember the layout at all, but it retains the Metroid 2 feel completely, with ominous Metroid eggs, fighting Metroids, then the lava drops to open up new parts of the map. All infused with the GBA Metroid mechanics. It really feels like this is what Nintendo would have made if they had decided to remake Metroid 2 in a similar vein as they remade Metroid 1.

Yeah, I saw it too, but on Steam. Comments indicate a bad port though.. Good thing I already have it on Wii.

Sure, I'll buy a 3rd Link Nendoroid. All the Nendoroids except for the Mega Men are instant pre-orders. I never played Mega Man X or Battle Network. I don't like the X design and don't think it suits the Nendoroid form factor.. I do like the B attle Network design and that one probably will suit the form factor, but I simply have no attachment to it. That Fire Emblem scale is also an instant pre-order. Figmas I'll most likely skip. Also various other non-nintendo game characters, but I'll post those later in the other thread. Edit: Well, I'll include this one, as he's a big 3rd party character.

... And there it is. Brie Larson is Captain Marvel. Brie is great. There also seems to be a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan join the cast of Black Panther. Plus there's plenty of news coming from SDCC, but it'll mean more to people familiar with the comics. I'm waiting / hoping for a Captain Marvel announcement.

Can't wait for the classic Mini N64, with Wii remote compatible N64 controlers. I only own 12 N64 games, so I've missed plenty classics (probably?). Too bad many of them were Rare classics. 4 out of the 12 games in my collection are Rare games, and 2 of them are other 3rd party. The rest Nintendo.

Ah yes, I recall hearing that.. But they weren't available here in The Netherlands (none of them). This deal is worldwide I believe, so in every country where Netflix is available.

CBS something.. Basically CBS's own streaming service similar to Netflix. I agree.. Then again in the end it doesn't matter.. As long as I get good stuff on my Netflix. Yeah this is getting merged but: Edit: They also made a deal to include all previous series in their catalog. I believe this is also worldwide. Looking forward to relive Star Trek starting with The original series. Everything should be available by the end of the year.

I thought Stranger things was pretty good. The only thing against it in my opinion that it sometimes feels a bit too much of an amalgamation of things you've already seen before, but apart from that, I'm loving it. The atmosphere, the feeling of adventure, the soundtrack. The kids are great too. Looking forward to season 2.

Nice. Not having the US catalog occasionally has its benefits.

Yeah, so this completely took me by surprise.. I had no idea this was such a craze. Since I had little interest in it, I didn't keep up with the news, but I've seen it on the cover of the 2 most popular newspapers, before the game was even officially out here. I even saw a Christian newspaper mentioning this game was getting people back into churches (hahahahaha..). To be honest, I doubt this craze will last more than a year, but I have to admit that I'm intrigued. I would definitely download it now, if I my phone supported it. Anyway, have these been posted?

Yeah my Ash and Gary are shipped as well. I forgot this one by the way: I think I'll skip the re-color. Probably. Wonfest is soon, so more news coming.
